Shocking New: Chris Evans To Voice In Captain America: Super Soldier
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of February 2011 - 11:41 PM ]
Just like the announcement of Chris Hemsworth voicing Thor in the movie tie-in game of the same name, it looks like Chris Evans is doing the same for Cap. in Captain America: Super Soldier. As the title says, real shocking news right? I am almost certain that most of us saw this coming in the first place, so the announcement is really no big surprise. Just like I said for Thor the surprise would be that the game is at least worth a rental. Moving on from that, there are a few new screen shots below for us to look at and get all hopeful over. Does Nintendo Make Kid Games Or Games For People Of All Ages?
by Brian Goodman [ Tuesday, 25th of May 2010 - 05:51 PM ]
So I was reading an opinion piece on Kotaku all about how Shigeru Miyamoto thinks he makes game that appeal to people of all ages - not just kids. The writer of the Kotaku piece made the comparison between Nintendo and Pixar, who has made arguably the best animated films of all time that are characteristically appealing to young children and adults alike. Something didn't feel right to me about that comparison. As a HUGE fan of Pixar I thought to myself; what makes Pixar films successful? Read More...

Does Super Hero Squad Online Appeal To You?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of May 2010 - 05:29 PM ]
Well here you go true believers. Officially debuting on the great internets is the trailer for Marvel Super Hero Squad Online. Gods that is a long ass title. From here on it will be, MSHSO. Long title or no, that doesn't disregard the fact that now we can take a look at one of the rendered videos for MSHSO. At least what looks like an intro to the game that isn't coming out until next year sometime. So they have time to shorten the title or find something catchy. Read More...

Review: Super Street Fighter IV
by 345 [ Friday, 30th of April 2010 - 08:00 PM ]
Super Street Fighter IV is definitely a great value at $40, especially for people who didn't pick up the original. Aside from everything originally included with IV, Super also includes a handful of new characters, new stages, new music and updated online play. This includes some new modes and features that fans have been wanting for over a year now. A new roster update comprises of a nice selection of characters from various series in the Street Fighter universe, as well as two new ones exclusive to Super. Juri is a welcome addition with a quickness that many other characters are lacking, and Hakan is a grappler covered in oil that brings more depth to his style of character. Read More...

Capcom Either Causes International Incidents Or Zombie Incidents
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of February 2010 - 03:57 PM ]
It looks like once again Capcom could not resist disseminating their social commentary to the world - be it that people are becoming more and more violent and creative or that we are all giving into the social zombism that is quickly spreading the planet. Hell, they even seem to want to weigh in on the issues between China, Korea, and the United States. They do this in one of the best ways ever: through video game trailers and game play. Below you will see two new video clips for two of Capcom's upcoming games: Dead Rising 2 and Super Street Fighter 4. Read More...

Rock Band To Let You Play The Super Bowl Half Time Show
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of February 2010 - 03:41 PM ]
Well as long as you have a version of Rock Band that allows for DLC to be added onto your game. That and wait until after the game to buy the track from the Rock Band store. Like you would break anyways right. Between the Super Bowl it's self and the Super Bowl Commercials, when would you find the time anyways. Well that and if you are not too drunk buy then, but now I'm flowing off topic. Any Who, the fine minds over at Harmonix have gotten a hold of what The Who are going to be performing during the Half Time show. Read More...

So if the AggroCast about the Capcom event didn't satisfy you with what we thought about Super Street Fighter IV, let me introduce you to the new trailer for SSFIV. Including a nice little opening showing off the transition from smashing a car in 2D to smashing the car in the 3D world of Street Fighter. The clip below shows off the characters that have been announced and some of their special movies and ultra combos they can do. Also showing off the beautiful, yet confusing to me Juri. Read More...

You know the storyline.  You know the tricks.  But how is it still so fun?  New Super Mario Bros. Wii is another smash hit in a long line of Mushroom Kingdom mayhem courtesy of Nintendo.  Staying with their desire for accessibility, Nintendo took all the ideas and concepts that made the original Super Mario Bros. 2D platforming franchise a success and used that as the base for New Super Mario Bros.
