PSN Cards Debut in Canada Hey, good news for all of you underage gamers in Canada. Underage as in can't have a credit card or debit card. Or if you are the kind of Canadian that doesn't want your card information on your PSN account. Or if you are one those people who like to give gift cards for presents. Or if you are on of those people who like to get gift cards as presents. Two New Wolfenstein Trailers Hospitals for some are just creepy places to be. People laying in "death beds," sharp medical instruments everywhere, creepy doctors or patients wandering about, and the ever draining of ones life force, money. So it makes sense that when you want to place a creepy scene or level in a game, you would choose an environment like this to give that real creep factor to the players. Raven Software, not wanting to skip on this for Wolfenstein, have placed another version of the Hospital level in a game. This time with Nazis and demonic powered soldiers. Read More...

Rock Band Presents The Warped Tour Pack With the Warped Tour about to get fully underway for this summer, it would make sense for the good people at Harmonix to do something for this tour. By either having an event at some of the locations or at least give some good tracks to be added to the ever growing collection of songs in their database. At least it makes sense to me. The zombie apocalypse is one of only a handful of things that are universally cool. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how prepared you are), a zombie invasion is likely to never occur, as such the only way to take on a horde of the undead is in a video game. Quite a few titles have been based on the zombie apocalypse, but I’ve always felt like there was something missing. Left 4 Dead is probably the best zombie game to come out in the last few years and just about anyone who’s played it is looking forward to the sequel. Rumor: PSPgo App for August

At E3, "the worst kept secret" that Sony was holding was the PSPgo. Also that this new hand-held would be released on October 1st of this year. But, rumor has it right now, that Sony will announce an iTunes like application store at GamesCom in Germany this August. So what does this have to do with the current PSP? Jack Tretton = Pissed. Alternate Title, the PS3 Slim is real, now what

Sure, Jack Tretton was all fun and games (pun totally intended) at this year's SCEA E3 Press Conference, but being pissed in front of several hundred journalists wouldn't serve any good purpose. In a recent interview with CNBC, Tretton, the CEO and president of SCEA, expressed major disappointment in the fact that many of Sony's big E3 announcements got leaked beforehand. The PSP Go!, the PS3 Motion Controller, Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker (the newest MGS for the PSP) and Gran Turismo (also for the PSP, and it should be noted that it had already been announced at the 2004 E3) were all leaked before the conference. Batman: Arkham Asylum One game that seemed to be at every one of the big companies booths, sans Nintendo, was Batman Arkham Asylum. It even had it's own booth show casing it as well as an area in the Warner Brothers booth, with leather restraint chair for those who got to bonkers while checking out this game. E3 Hands On Impressions of Section 8

One of my surprises of the show was the game Section 8, coming from SouthPeak Games this fall. I was able to get a demo of this with the lead producer of the game. Section 8 is a futuristic sci-fi shooter with similar gameplay to that of Tribes and Battlefield 2. You have large map areas with 32 total players, two teams of 16 each. Each map has various objectives and areas your team must capture or complete to gain points for your side.As you spawn or respawn, you locate an area on the map that is a safe drop zone. There is something unforgettable about the moment you began playing Wolfenstein 3D. Fast, furious and in your face, this title made an impact that affected the games industry forever. For many gamers, including myself, it changed the way we played and thought about games, shooters in particular. Fast forward 17 years and many first player shooters later, Wolfenstein is getting set up to be released by id Software and during this E3, we saw a demonstration focusing on the supernatural aspects of the game. Aggrogamer E3 Recap for June 2nd

So day 2 has come and gone for E3 and it was a day ranging from dull to exciting. We saw what Nintendo had to offer, as well as Sony, and finally got to hit the showroom floor to start looking at all the titles. First we all had the chance to attend the Nintendo press conference and they showed off mostly what we've come to expect, which is plenty of casual games aimed towards a broader audience. Which is exactly why the slogan this year was "Everybody's Game". With titles like Wii Fit Plus, Wii Sports Resort, Style Savvy, and James Patterson's Women's Murder Club: Games Of Passion, it is easy to see that they are truly trying to reach every demographic. Sony PSP Go! Confirmed

Remember that rumor that started about a month or so ago that nobody thought was true at all? Well everything (including the Gran Turismo Mobile bit) just got confirmed in one of the most unlikeliest of ways. June's episode of QORE got leaked to the internet much to the dismay of the coordinator of the Sony E3 press briefing, which confirmed the existence of the PSP Go. Boasting a 16gb hard drive, bluetooth, memory card expansion slot, and shedding the UMD slot, the PSP Go looks to be more of a competitor of the iPhone/iPod Touch rather than the DS or it's big brother, of whom it will share the spotlight (Sony will continue to make the 3000). While no mention was made of the PS3 Slim, it is all but certain that the rumors of that are legit as well. Read More...

Mini Ninjas at E3

To say that I am excited about Eidos' new game Mini Ninjas is an understatement. I think I'm going to get some smoke bombs and adorn my office in samurai swords and kendo armor. One of the games that Eidos' will be debuting as a playable version at E3 is this little gem. Mini Ninjas is the story of a tiny ninja, named Hiro, and his big adventure against an evil warlord, and his quest to save the animals that have been changed into evil samurai, bringing harmony back to the world. From the screen shots it looks like you will be able to navigate through three different characters as well as take control of different animals.
