Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 3 Makes a Splash

With the third map pack for Call of Duty: World at War dropping today on the PSN and XBox Live Marketplace today, I think it's about time console shooter fans finally cut Treyarch some slack. They have really supported the crap out of this game during the post-release lifecycle, this time with multiplayer maps, a zombie map and new achievements/trophies. After selling over 11 million copies of the game and over 4 million downloads, they could very easily just sit on their laurels and rake the cash in. Teasing with a nice little showing of the two cute girls wandering about the fantasy lands. That is until Red breaks out the chainsaw and White gets wicked with an axe. Assassin Creed II joins the Collectors Party

Do we really need another collector's edition from another high end game? In this case, yes we do. Assassin Creed II is joining Batman and Modern Warfare2 for the collectors edition party. It was announced Monday (August 3rd, 2009) on the Assassin Creed twitter that the second installment of the game will have a Limited Edition Gamestop Exclusive of Assassin Creed II. Which will only be available for the US and Canada on the PS3 and the Xbox 360. But the fun does not stop there folks, as when you pre-order the collector's edition from Gamestop you will also receive not one, but two exclusive maps for the game. Read More...

Brütal Legend Take Two As you may have known if you follow Corey or myself on Twitter at all, you would have seen how mush the PR train was rolling at Comic Con this year. It was Huge! But it wasn't just about the free stuff they were giving out or events they were putting on. They also had an updated version of the demo for this game. Comic Con '09 Hands-On Impressions of Dante's Inferno

Dante's Inferno So at E3 this year, we were all given some great teases as to what to expect for Dante's Inferno from EA. All in the form of an extended trailer and a little bit of watching the designers play through a level showing off their game. No solid hands on experience, but it was still a great sight to see. EA and Major League Gaming have just penned and signed a new deal hooking up EA as a major sponsor for their gaming tournaments. Something that will totally draw more than their average 600,000 people they get now and 5000 to 7000 that show to the live events. Not to mention to bring some big pull with EA Sports and other franchises under their belt now being added to the list of titles to be played for cash and prizes. God of War III Art With talks of a movie script being finalized and a novelization of the first game in the works and slated for the same time God of War III launches, it is no surprise that Sony would be a little more loose with actual game content for this power house. I mean, most of the current press has been revolving around the first game that came out ever so long ago. To help battle this, on the official God of War III website, Sony has just released a new fan kit for people to use and post all over their fan pages to show how big of fan boys/girls they are. The Debut Trailer For ModNation Racers Since E3, there hasn't been much talked about this new IP from United Front Games. It was a sneak hit during the Sony E3 Briefing and shown a little bit, in trailer form, around their booth. After that, it has fallen off the radar from all gaming sites, even here at Aggrogamer. But that is not to say that it has completely been scrapped and forgotten. Myst is Finally Coming to PSP Some interesting news for this week's PSN releases. It looks like this week PSP owners will have a chance to download and play the popular PC puzzler Myst on their PSPs. Play it with out having to mod or hack the system to get it on there to boot. If you haven't already or picked up the title for your iPhone or other application ready system.
