De-Formers Is The Next Big Title Coming From Ready At Dawn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
De-Formers The teased title form Ready At Dawn has been revealed as De-Formers and De-Formers is a vast deviation from the last title we had from the studio If you were hoping for the next big title from Ready At Dawn to be a sequel to The Order then you will just have to wait on that as it is actually a title called De-Formers. Don't go getting your pitchforks and torches just yet as this is a title that the team had in the pipes well before the prior game was even a thing. They are just now free to work on De-Formers and bring us all some fun and excitement to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC with this new, quirky, arena based combat title that some of us may have been hoping for instead… You can see the teaser for De-Formers just a bit below here but as it stands it look like a crazy version of bumper cars with a bit of the Super Smash Bros mechanics mixed in. Minecraft: Story Mode 6th Episode Dated & A Murder Mystery
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of June 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Minecraft The release date for Minecraft: Story Mode sixth episode has been set and it seems like the Minecraft community is being drug into the game's murder mystery The first of the three add-on episodes for Minecraft: Story Mode has now been dated and it looks like June 7th is going to be the date that we all get to continue the story. I am still not completely sure why Telltale Games broke up the story and continuations as they did but it has been done and the spiritual second season, in my opinion, has begun. Get ready to dive deeper into Mojang's world as Minecraft: Story Mode episode six hits the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and mobile platforms. Read More...

Now We Get To Design Our Own Toys In Skylanders Imaginators
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of June 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Skylanders Another addition to the franchise is announced with Skylanders Imaginators and it aims to let us craft our own Skylanders just for the new fight It's another new years and it would be complete without an announcement like Skylanders Imaginators as another new title to add into the toys-to-life genre. As if Activision and Toys For Bob haven't raked in enough money on this property so far and had other companies try their hand in the same way. Of course as they usually do, it also looks like Skylanders Imaginators is bringing yet another new feature to the genre in the fact that you get to design your own Skylander to play in the game. Travelling Around In Final Fantasy XV Can Be Fun & Dangerous
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV A few new tidbits of Final Fantasy XV news have popped up just before E3 and they detail out Final Fantasy XV travel systems among other things We are just over a week out from E3 and it looks like there was a bit more on Final Fantasy XV just dropped to lead up to another huge showing of the game. It looks like Square Enix hosted another Active Time Report recently where some questions were asked and left open until E3 but the developer's did hop on a few items to give us a little more just before. Most of which has to deal with how open of a world Final Fantasy XV will be and just how some of the travelling in the game could be more dangerous then free roaming around and fighting monsters. New Survival Horror Game, Agony, Looks Like Everything But…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 31st of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Agony A new survival horror game called Agony aims to take us on a trip through Hell without being Agony in its self If you were left wanting for another video game where we travel to Hell and need to survive then hold onto your asses as we have Agony now in the works and heading to us for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2017. While it may not be another Dante's Inferno for us it does look like Madmind Studios is crafting something on the levels of and beyond with this new survival horror title. That's right. Read More...

Ibuki Is Back As The Next Street Fighter V DLC Character
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 31st of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Street Fighter The next DLC character for Street Fighter V has been announced and shown off as Ibuki joins the ranks of Street Fighter V combatants The next character DLC for Street Fighter V is here and it looks like another blast from the past is joining the ranks. It looks like Capcom went back into the old bin of characters from the expanded roster of the third game and is now bringing us Ibuki to yet another title. She was in Street Fighter IV if memory serves but that doesn't matter as this ninja school girl is coming back and getting a bit of an upgrade to all of the old school tricks she had before. Get ready to be trolled here… As was easy to assume, Ibuki will be bringing back the kunais she is known for as well as all of the ninjitsu training she's been working on since Street Fighter III: New Generation. This Week In Video Games 5/23/16 — 5/27/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of May 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week in video games in the bag and now we get to move on to the next. This should have been a slower week given the proximity of E3 now but there was plenty rolling out to get us all prepped for the event. We had a few sneak peeks of sorts with Vampyr and Umbrella Corps here as well as the announcement of a new title Absolver to see. Then of course we were able to get the nice big review for Homefront: The Revolution out there for you after waiting for the updates to fix some of the major issues with the game. Read More...

Mafia 3's City Has Just As Much Life To It As The Characters We'll Play
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Mafia 3 Another Mafia 3 developer diary of sort has been released showing us just how Mafia 3's city has been brought to life We here it almost in every open world style of video game and it looks like Mafia 3 is joining the ranks of stating that the game's world is a living and breathing character of its own. It is not to shocking to me that Hangar 13 would make the same claims that we hear all the time as they have been working hard to make sure their version of New Orleans feels as authentic as it can for us. We all do demand that Mafia 3 feel as authentic as all of the other games and since they've done it with the music and culture it makes sense to do it with the city. Read More...

Paragon Gets A New Cyborg Support-Tank Named Riktor Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Paragon Another hero has been added to Paragon's long list and we can all look forward to meeting Paragon's new hero, Riktor in next week's update It looks like we get to add yet another hero to the list of Paragon heroes next week as we have another here with Riktor. Epic Games said they were going to try for something new every three weeks and it looks like they are truly keeping to it. Hopefully this does keep going well after Paragon leaves "early access" on June 7th but that could be one tall order. If anyone is up to it all I am certain they are but let's dig into the new hero Riktor here coming in the next update on May 31st for free. Read More...

It's Time To Take The Melee Combat Online With Absolver
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Absolver New online combat title, Absolver, has been announced and we have a bit of gameplay for Absolver just before the big E3 reveal It looks like we have the first of two titles that Devolver Digital has for us at E3 as Absolver has just been announced and came with a nice new trailer. This would be the new title being crafted by developers Sloclap and it aims to bring us all into an online combat world where we all want to become the best there is. I say that as it looks like Absolver is all about melee combat and not the traditional shooter combat that all of us are used to when it comes to online combat titles. It's not the first of its kind but it does look to try and perfect the craft in their own way. Read More...

Review — Homefront: The Revolution
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Homefront We sit down and review Homefront: The Revolution. A reimagining of the franchise to make America great again. Here's our review of Homefront: The Revolution It's been a while coming but Homefront: The Revolution has released and we've been able to dive right into what Dambuster Studios has to offer us. It may not be what was originally in store for us back in the THQ days but since Deep Silver picked up the franchise and put the teams to work to reimagine the game we are in store for another fun ride in a fake historical timeline. It makes sense I swear. Read More...

Ghost Recon Wildlands Shows Us The Ghosts & The Collector's Editions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Ghost Recon A new trailer for Ghost Recon Wildlands has been released as well as all of the details on the Ghost Recon Wildlands collector's editions for pre-order It looks like Ubisoft is getting the fun E3 news rolling a little early and it also looks like Ghost Recon Wildlands is going to be one of the game that will be their main focus. This of course makes a whole lot of sense as it was revealed during their press conference last year and next to nothing has come out since. Now we have a nice little trailer to spy upon for Ghost Recon Wildlands a bit early as well as the listing for all of the collector's editions coming for the game. Read More...

The Mechanical Apartheid Of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Has Begun
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Deus Ex A new live action trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been released and perfectly shows off how the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution has changed the world August 23rd is still a bit out for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided so it is a bit acceptable that we are not getting loads of gameplay video and/or features revealed to us. I have a feeling that will come at E3 where Square Enix already has plans to show things off. Instead we get things like this live action trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided that aims to show us what the world has become after the events of Eidos-Montreal's previous addition into the franchise.
