Death Stranding Adds Another Voice To The List With Little Else To Go On
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of September 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Death Stranding Another confusing trailer for Death Stranding is here from TGS and it looks like Troy Baker will have his voice in Death Stranding to destroy us In no huge surprise, Death Stranding had a small showing out at TGS and it also brought with us a listen to Troy Baker as he is now part of the project. Not the biggest of shocks that Kojima Productions would add his voice in given how many games he is in for VO and the connection with Sony for their other PS4 titles. It was only a matter of time, but what is interesting here is that it seems to be his voice only for Death Stranding so far and not the full body renders we have seen for the rest of the cast in the game. Cyberpunk 2077 Finally Has Some True Gameplay To Spy Upon Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk The gameplay demo for Cyberpunk 2077 that many have not seen yet has just been released and now you can see just what Cyberpunk 2077 has for us So much hype has been built around Cyberpunk 2077 and most of the public has not seen much more than a short trailer and a few screenshots. I am not saying that the hype is unfounded as what I was able to spy out at E3 was truly amazing and it made me ready for what CD Projekt RED was building here for us all. Maybe you read my breakdown or maybe you did not. It was your loss if you missed out as the excitement for Cyberpunk 2077 has been building even though it was all clouded in mystery. Read More...

A New 3D Adventure Games Is Coming By The Way Of Scarf
by Duke Searles [ Tuesday, 14th of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Scarf A new announcement for a game called Scarf is here and it will let us explore a new world using the polymorphic powers of a Scarf among other things Add one more 3D Adventure game to the list to keep an eye on as now we have Scarf to look forward to so we can keep scratching that itch. It always seems to come back in the mix of all of the other larger-scale titles releasing and it looks like Uprising Studios, with the help of THQ Nordic, will be giving us a nice break this Winter or early in 2019 on the PC. That seems like the perfect time for a game called Scarf to release in my book. Seeing how it also looks to handle here, it could be another great break to distract us and get us back into the exploring aspect of video games. Read More...

E3 Hands On — Project 1v1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Project 1v1 While at E3, I was able to see Project 1v1 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Project 1v1. It has been almost a year since we first heard about Project 1v1 and were given so very little on what the game be bringing with it. The title alone kind of gives us all an idea on what Gearbox is working on for the game, but there has not been anything specific given out there before E3. That is why I was pleased to see that it would be on hand during the event and ready for some to play. I happened to be part of that some to get to place my hands on Project 1v1 during the event to see what this game had to offer up on the PC. Read More...

E3 2018 Impressions — Cyberpunk 2077
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk 2077 While at E3, I was able to see Cyberpunk 2077 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Cyberpunk 2077. After a nice five year gap of silence, we were all finally treated to our first look at Cyberpunk 2077 and where the game currently stands in the development cycle. Some out there were able to see the nice new trailer that CD Projekt RED put together to be shown. Others, like myself, were treated to a behind closed doors showing of Cyberpunk 2077 that featured a whole lot of gameplay. Read More...

Death Stranding’s Cast Is Expanded & We Finally Get Some Gameplay Out Of E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of June 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Death Stranding There was more to see for Death Stranding out of E3 and it shows some new gameplay while keeping us all confused about what Death Stranding actually is Another of the titles we knew were going to be a focus for E3 this year was Death Stranding and many out there were hoping to get a better understanding of what the game is actually going to be about. That is besides being another weird adventure Kojima Productions is going to take us on and house a whole lot of famous actors and directors in the game. Star power can only go so far and even with adding the heroines of Death Stranding in the latest trailer, Léa Seydoux and Lindsay Wagner, we still have a lot we are waiting to get fully defined for the game. Jack In With A New Look At Cyberpunk 2077 From E3 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk The first real look at Cyberpunk 2077 is here out of E3 2018 and it gives us all the fun we should expect for a Cyberpunk game The moment most of us have been waiting for has come as we now have something solid to look at for Cyberpunk 2077 other than teaser images and concept art. We have had so little to see for this game and yet CD Projekt RED has had us all so hyped up for the game since it was first mentioned they were working on it. It could have been because it was something new that few have actually taken on or it could have been them still riding on the hype of their last few titles that have impressed us all. Nonetheless, we now have something to see for Cyberpunk 2077 that also looks to be done in-engine and not just a CG trailer. Read More...

My Thoughts On This Year’s BE3 Conference
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 12th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
B3 Now that BE3 has come and gone, here are my thoughts on the Good, the bad, and the ugly of BE3 2018 I am still too tired from the emotional rollercoaster that was the BE3 conference. I had to watch it twice to make sure I understood correctly. Boo to Fallout being online and hurray for their being a new Fallout game! That helmet is beautiful and I will never take it off. Let’s get started, shall we? Read More...

The Desolation Of Mordor Is Coming Soon To Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War A new trailer for the next DLC for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here and it shows us a bit more on how this will expand the story Shadow Of War has already given us The story for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is getting further expanded here soon and we have our first look at the next DLC that is coming. Well, more of a Story Expansion than a DLC but it is what it is for now and Monolith Productions is wrapping it all up for us and putting a little Orc skull on it. It would seem like this would be the last of the Expansion Pass DLC for Shadow Of War as well, although there is always the chance of more. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The Gold and War Chest aspect of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War will be going away and you now have a limited time to use them all in Shadow Of War If you were really into spending real-world money to boost things in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, then you may need to get on that bandwagon a little more as it will be going away. Well, at least the Gold and War Chest aspect of the game is going away as Monolith Productions is pulling the plug on it and keeping the game flowing in all of the other ways. So if you like shelling out that money to get virtual things in Shadow Of War, get on that as it goes away On May 8th when the next big update for the game is coming. Read More...
