System Shock's Remaster Has More Creepy Gameplay To Freak Out Over
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of March 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
System Shock The remaster of System Shock has been given more gameplay to show off how faithful to the original System Shock the dev team is keeping it all It has been a while since we heard anything out of the System Shock remaster that has been funded and going on for a while now. Of course I say that fully understanding that we are here right now as Night Dive Studios has put out a new gameplay video for the game to capture our attentions yet again. Given that they raised over a million dollars to have the chance to bring this System Shock remaster to us on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC, it seems about right that we get something new. Of course, the game isn't slated until sometime in 2018 for release but it is nice to have some new pre-alpha footage to look at and dissect here. Read More...

Massive Amount Of New Gameplay For Mass Effect: Andromeda Tests Our Loyalty
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Mass Effect Seventeen more minutes of Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay is out there now and it shows off one of Mass Effect: Andromeda's missions & how they can change Here we go with seventeen more minutes of Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay to look at and enjoy. Not only more to look at but more to see in actual motion and not being driven by someone over at BioWare who wants to show off nothing but the best, but a nice little showing of one of the game's missions. Well, at least part of the mission as it would be a little soon to start spoiling Mass Effect: Andromeda with all of that for now. Hopefully we can stay that way until March 21st, but of course we will all have to wait and see if that is possible. Read More...

Agony's Demons Have Been Set Loose & We Need To Control Them
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Agony A better look at the demons of Agony has been released and we also get to look at how we get to control them in Agony to get around Hell Here we go as Agony's demons have been let out and now we get to see more than just a slight tease for them as we did last week. In fact, it looks like Madmind Studio has put together not one, but two different teasers to show of the demons in the game so we can all have a lot more to haunt our nightmares and daydreams. The team really lives up to the name over there in terms of the mad but don't let that stop you from seeing more for Agony as we continue to wait for the official release sometime this year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. And Gods, there is a lot to see here today with these new demons. Read More...

Ringing any bells or does this little title from People Can Fly elude your memory and you need more to go one? Okay, well this was another FPS title that Cliff Bleszinski worked on that had us kicking and shooting people in the dicks to rack up points to save ourselves. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Mass Effect: Andromeda Another gameplay video for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been released with more focus on combat but also how your team in Mass Effect can deliver a great one-two punch The combat training keeps flowing here for Mass Effect: Andromeda as we have the next video in the series that BioWare is giving us to show off the game a bit more. This is the second video in the series here and this time around we get to see how the combat profiles will work in the game as well as how you can team up with your squad. We will all have to take more care with setting all of that up now as it looks like the combination of things in Mass Effect: Andromeda has jumped up from where it was before but all in a way that looks to make the game just that little bit easier for us. Mimics Are Everywhere In Prey And We Will Add To The Madness
by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 23rd of February 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Prey A new gameplay video for Prey has released to showcase how we can use the powers of the Mimics in Prey to get around the game and survive One could say that once you've seen one of Prey's mimics in action then you've seen them all. That one person would be wrong as mimic can look and act like anything, but it gets even more compounded by the fact that Arkane Studios has also given us all the ability to do the same in the game through one of the first powers we unlock in the game. We've seen the enemies use it before but now we get to see just how we will get to handle it in Prey and it looks like it could be something truly silly or something that could save our lives in the game. Something that seems to be the case in all of Bethesda's titles now doesn't it? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Agony A new teaser video for Agony shows off a few of the demons we'll encounter in Agony as well as a date for when we will see them in full action Oh the Agony and the waiting for this game to come out as it looks like a rather intense horror title poised to follow up some other amazing ones here recently. With each new trailer and bit of gameplay Madmind Studio manages to "wow" me and here we go again to help us with the time it is taking to bring the game to market. Hopefully by now you know that in Agony you are in Hell but also have the ability to control other people and some of the lesser demons you will be rubbing elbows with. Read More...

Project Prelude Rune & A New Studio, Studio Istolia, For It Have Just Been Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of February 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Studio Istolia A new studios, Studio Istolia, has been announced as well as Studio Istolia's first IP being in the works in terms of Project Prelude Rune If for some reason you didn't think that Square Enix had a lot on their table already, they go out and set up a whole new studio in the way of Studio Istolia. This would be a whole new studio that has been founded in Japan and has been tasked with bringing more great story titles out to us all with their first getting the codename of Project Prelude Rune. Given that this is only an announcement for Studio Istolia and the first IP it is working, there isn't much more to go on than that but at least we know that we have another contender in the gaming world and their aim is to bring more story based titles to us. See How A Goblin Is Made Here For Styx: Shards Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Styx A new developer diary for Styx: Shards Of Darkness shows off a bit more of the game as well as how Styx has been evolved since the last game and beyond If Styx: Shards Of Darkness will be your first foray with this little goblin then A, you are missing out, and B, you need a crash course in who this little goblin is and how he has been crafted for the game and how he has evolved since. It would be odd if Cyanide Studios left him in the past and didn't use all of the new hardware and game to further show off this amazing character and while they are odd, they are not that odd. This is why we have a new developer diary of sorts to show off Styx in his new light as well as to get to know his personality a bit more and just to enjoy another great IP that is coming out of Focus Home Interactive. Another New Jason Teased For Friday The 13th: The Game As Pre-Order Bonus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th The pre-order bonus for Friday The 13th: The Game has been shown off in ways of the custom Jason for Friday The 13th crafted by Tom Savini If you've been following along with Friday The 13th: The Game since day one then you may be familiar with the bonus of an extra Jason for the game from the mind of Tom Savini. This is to go above and beyond all of the other versions of the character that Illfonic currently has for the game as well as everything that Gun Media has planned as well. I guess this would fall under planned as the only way to get this version is to pre-order Friday The 13th, but I digress. Read More...

New Gameplay For The Surge Shows How We Are Helping Combat Climate Change
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
The Surge The next gameplay video for The Surge has been released and shows us fourteen more minutes of The Surge and more of the story We've had some gameplay before for The Surge and now it looks like it is high time for us to get some more. Of course we always want more but Deck 13 needs to be able to keep some of it to themselves until May when the game lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Digressing aside though, here we are again with more gameplay for The Surge and this time it is more combat and a few new areas of the game to look at. The first time around I saw that the combat was a bit on the clunky side and barring any real detail it looked a bit broken. Read More...
