The Villains Of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Might Include Carnage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of April 2014 - 07:01 PM ]
There is a new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 showcasing some of the other villains Spider-Man will have to bring down. When it comes to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 visually what has been shown hasn't been as impressive as with The Amazing Spider-Man. This could be as we have been spoiled over the last few months with next gen graphics and all we seem to be getting are trailers for the last gen systems. If this is the case then we might have to rely just on the fun factor of the game as well as the story. What makes an interesting story for Spider-Man is usually the villains and their overall goals. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Just in case you needed another reason to pick up the Watch_Dogs Vigilante Edition here's a showcasing of the goods. As gamers we sure do love our collector's editions and the Watch_Dogs Vigilante Edition is yet another one to add to the list. For just a bit more that the basic asking price you can get a bunch of other real world and virtual world goodies. In the case of the Vigilante Edition it would replace a few items I have lost recently do to "act of dog" which would completely make it worth the extra money. If only it was possible to find it as a non-European exclusive to pre-order right now. Read More...

The Sights, And Mostly The Sounds, Of Alien Isolation Are Amazing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Alien Isolation has a new developer video out showing off all the time and effort Creative Assembly has put in. A lot is riding on Alien Isolation making up for the horrors that the franchise has gone in. Horrors not in the good way for those just looking into what I am talking about. From what I have seen so far from Creative Assembly on this front has been extremely exciting and will hopefully right a horrible wrong that has taken place in the past. But that is all in the visuals and limited gameplay that we have seen so far. Also a bit of how awesome things are literally sound in game. Read More...

The Wolf Among Us Episode 3 Is Slated For Release Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Shortly after the new trailer for The Wolf Among Us Episode 3 came the release date for the new episode. Just as I called it two days ago, A Crooked Mile, The Wolf Among Us' third episode has been given a launch date. That date being April 8th 2014. Only seven days after the new trailer for the episode at that. Just as I called it. The big kicker is that it is supposedly slated for a universal release to all platforms instead of PC and PlayStation first for a day or so. Read More...

by Julia Schoebel [ Wednesday, 2nd of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new user survey for the PlayStation 4 has been sent to users and speculation begins on what some of the questions mean for the console. The first part of this is not a rumor but boy has it started the internet a buzz with other rumors and speculation. I am talking about a recent user survey sent out to some PlayStation 4 users out there. That is not the rumor. Nor is it rumor that some of the questions asked allude to a PSN reputation system and the ability to alter or change you PSN ID. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]

It's been a bit since we heard anything for Daylight and boy do we have some fun and good news. Like for instance that it is now slated to release on the PS4 and Steam on April 29th now. That is really good new to be honest. At least if you have been looking forward to playing Daylight as long as I have. Read More...

April Fools: Razer Jokes About Something I Dreamt Up As A Child With Eidolon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Yet another April Fools' joke; this time from Razer in the form of Eidolon. A crazy augmented reality drone and contact lens system. Now here is yet another April Fools' joke straight from Razer in the form of a product called Eidolon. This is one of the more obvious jokes floating around today but the fun fact here is that I had an idea for this back when my mortal coil was a young lad. What am I talking about? Well if you haven't jumped to the video for Razer's Eidolon 'project' yet it is all about a 'power glove' of sorts that has a mini-drone that will follow you around taking video and images of your life. The Wolf Among Us Episode Three Gets A New Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The Wolf Among Us episode three — A Crooked Mile gets a new trailer. Hopefully this means the episode will be out soon. Finally, The Wolf Among Us brings us something that isn't an April Fools' joke in the form of a new trailer for the third episode of the game; A Crooked Mile. Something I have been waiting for all day and technically almost two months now; something new for The Wolf Among Us since the last episode is the larger of the two. The lack of April Fools' joke is just a plus. New gamers to The Wolf Among Us be warned; there are a few spoilers mixed into the trailer as it continues off from where we last left Bigby. April Fools: Titanfall Is Getting Optimus Prime DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
An April Fools' joke from Respawn and IGN makes it look like we will be getting Optimus Prime added into Titanfall via DLC. Why is this a joke? This new Titanfall April Fools' joke is exactly why I loathe this "holiday." This looks amazing and would actually have me wanting to keep playing Titanfall for quite some time; especially if this Optimus Prime DLC was real as well as lead to other Transformers DLC for the game. Yep, their fun April Fools' joke was DLC that looks awesome and will most likely never be. Here watch for yourself. Read More...

Rumor Mill: More On The Last Of Us PS4 Port
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of March 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A listing on Spanish site XtraLife points more to The Last Of Us making its PS4 debut… On June 19th… For about $90 USD… Last week we heard a rumor that The Last Of Us was going to be making a jump into the next-gen with a port to the PS4. None of that has been confirmed to date. Now we are seeing a little more to the rumor or at least a website's way of scamming gamers out of some cold hard cash for the amazing game. About $90 of that cold hard cash if everything is to be believed. While the link to the original listing of The Last Of Us Complete Edition has been removed from the Spanish website XtraLife. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Metro Redux was a rumor that cropped up recently but has since been confirmed by Deep Silver. It is seeming like developers and publishers are having issues keeping their titles in work under wraps as of late as we have yet another 'leak' that has been confirmed; this time for Metro Redux. What is Metro Redux? If the images provided below are anything to explain it is a new edition of the Metro franchise from 4A Games and Deep Silver. Here's what can be gleaned from these 'leaked' images. Read More...

April Fools: So It Begins With The Killzone Movie: A Helghastly Adventure
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Over the weekend 'The Killzone Movie: A Helghastly Adventure' was 'announced' from Guerrilla Games. So April Fools Begins… I guess we are letting the 'fun' of April Fools begins early with The Killzone Movie: A Helghastly Adventure. Just in case you missed this, over the weekend this 'announcement' was placed on Killzone website for all to see. I personally think someone pulled the trigger too soon on posting this up on their blog but here you have it; the first of the April Fools' jokes that you all know I love so much. If this is not an early April Fools joke then I am a monkey's uncle. Read More...

This Week In Gaming 3/24/14 — 3/28/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of March 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming. This felt like the most bi-polar week in gaming news in a long while. It all started out rather slow and then we were flooded with all kinds of new stuff to look forward to. The biggest bit of gaming news being with Batman: Arkham Knight's new character and gameplay mechanics; not to mention the huge purchase of Oculus by Facebook. Cyber stalking to a whole new level if things go as was speculated earlier this week. All kinds of crazy stuff here in the gaming world. Read More...

Tried Not To Buy Into The Goat Simulator Craze…But Here's The Launch Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of March 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Goat Simulator from Coffee Stain Studios is set to launch on April 1st. Here's the launch trailer. Sometimes when I think I have gamers figured out something like Goat Simulator comes along and makes me question everyone's priorities in the world. I heard about this game back during its early inception and could have sworn it was just some joke being played by someone modding another game. Then the trailers began hitting the internet and everyone and their sister's uncle's cousin's former roommate was talking about it. Then I looked deeper and still could swear this is some kind of joke given the high demand that all of us gamers place on other studios to take everything serious in the industry. Read More...
