E3 Impression: Gametrak Freedom and Squeeballs Party

Performance Designed Product (a.k.a PDP) first announced the wand like controller, called the Gametrak Freedom, sometime last September for the Xbox 360 and everyone was waiting to see how this motion controller would be different from all the other motion controllers. After seeing it in action at E3, it certainly is. Not only did they show me the Gametrak Freedom controller, but they are also bundling the controller with a game called Squeeball. Samurai Shodown Anthology Review

When you look back at the 1990’s and you see the more popular fighting games to come out of that decade, your mind will invariably jump to Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter above anything else. From those two series came so many clones that really didn’t offer anything new to the genre. It’s ironic though that most of these clones are probably better known than anything from the Samurai Shodown series which is a shame since Samurai Shodown did so much to add to the fighting genre back in the day. Thankfully SNK Playmore have put together a collection of Samurai Shodown games that is a must have for anyone who is a fan of the series. There are several things that separate Samurai Shodown from virtually every other fighting game of the same era. Read More...

As many may know, when we launched Aggrogamer.com, we brought the Pwned.com Podcast, Total Meltdown, over with us. We changed the name of it to the more suitable title of Aggrocast. We retain the same cast of Michael (G-Nitro), Brian (Quiglin), and Binh (Church). We also kept the same format but moved around a bit to settle in properly with the site, and we also made sure the same craziness, humor and entertainment is still there. Capcom Confirms US Release For Fate/Unlimited Codes

Capcom announced last week during CAPTIVATE 09 that they will be releasing the PSP fighting game, Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable, in the U.S. Unlike Japan, the American release will be following Europe in releasing the game digitally only through the Playstation Store. Sony and Capcom both firmly state that they are not abandoning the UMD format that is the primary media used in PSP games. Capcom has promised a winter release at a retail price of $29.99. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 gets a release date

If you're a fan of Activision's Call of Duty series, you probably know that Infinity Ward is currently making Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to 2007's Call of Duty 4.
