Review: Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of January 2012 - 02:17 AM ]
I'm not one for re-makes or "re-imagining" when it comes to video games. I think that it shows a lack of innovation in the industry when developers should really be pushing forward. It is how I feel and there won't be much changing of my mind in this area. So you could only imagine how I felt when I heard that Just Add Water was "upgrading" Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath to be a whole new HD version. Why "upgrade" instead of make something new for the developer? Now that I have that out of the way, just like when God Of War got the HD treatment, I see why they chose to do this six years later. Gearbox Making A Borderlands 2 Cosplayer's Dream A Reality
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of December 2011 - 05:45 PM ]
Hey you! Yes you. Let me get personal for a second. You happen to be between 18 and 30? Are you Y chromosome deficient; or possibly tried cutting that day Y off? You got a way to make it to Dallas, TX? If you can answer yes to all of those, I got someone down there who want to check you out. Not only check you out, but pay you to look at your face and take a lot of photos to be used in all different forms of media. I'm talking film, photograph, magazine, website and even video game. Yea, the above sounds like a weird Craigslist ad that would most likely end in you being raped and killed. Read More...

by Brian Bentley [ Tuesday, 29th of November 2011 - 08:47 PM ]
Aggrogamer.com brings you the Skycast - a podcast involving all things Skyrim. Corey and Brian discuss levels 12 through 25 of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. More legendary stories are afoot as Corey has a blackout experience in game and Brian is knee-deep in the undead. The guys also touch on their reactions to the palpable racism towards dark elves in the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of November 2011 - 05:50 PM ]
Well, it's that time of year again. Leaves are falling. It's getting colder. And like clockwork, a new Call Of Duty has hit the streets. Not that I should really have to say it, but that would be Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for those who didn't see the title or clicked in at random. That also means it is time for us to review this little title and see if it should be a game you add to your home collection. The Story Everything picks back up right after Modern Warfare 2. If you recall, those crazy Russians are still running amok and fucking up everyone's good time. Read More...
