CES 2016 Hands On — Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Rush Of Blood While At CES I Was Able To See Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood It was only announced a few months ago but Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood was one of the huge titles on display at CES 2016 in Sony's VR section of their booth. PlayStation didn't have a huge section this year but this Supermassive Games spin off from the main title was one of the bigger things for the PS4 and PlayStation VR here. Lines were up to an hour and a half long to play the ten minute demo of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood and I braved it just for you so I could let you know how the game is shaping up for all of us. Kojima Productions Kojima Productions is back in action and it looks like SCE is partnering with Kojima Productions to make their first title a PS4 console exclusive The dramathon between Konami and Kojima is over and Kojima Productions is back in full swing. In fact they are in such a full swing over there that today Kojima Productions signed and announced a partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment for their first title the developer will be pumping out for us all. That of course means a console exclusive to the PS4 for whatever Kojima Productions' first title may be now that they are a fully independent studio. All of you fans out there can start the cheering now and then sit and wait for anything new to flow out of Kojima Productions on their first title. Read More...

Review — Minecraft: Story Mode — The Last Place You Look
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of December 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Minecraft We Sit Down And Review Minecraft: Story Mode — The Last Place You Look. This Is The Third Episode Of Telltale's Take On Mojang's Famed Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They Did We are now half way through the story of Minecraft: Story Mode with the third episode right on the tails of the prior one. This Telltale Games experience has been an odd one for me to be certain but we are pressing along. It could be my lack of knowledge of the Mojang proper title or the odd seeming story telling going on in Minecraft: Story Mode. Read More...

Minecraft The release date for Minecraft: Story Mode's fourth episode has been revealed as well as a hint at a mysterious fifth episode for Minecraft: Story Mode coming soon It definitely looks like Minecraft: Story Mode is going to be keeping to its short release gaps as the fourth episode is slated to hit on December 22nd this year. That would be only a few weeks away from now and just in time to give us all more Telltale Games to play in the mix of all the new ones we should be receiving for the Holidays. Hells, that means that those who get the physical version of Minecraft: Story Mode will be able to play everything up to just before the final episode in one setting. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of December 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Vampyr New details for Vampyr as well as a few bits of concept art have been released to let us all know what we need to about Vampyr for now If you missed the call that a game called Vampyr is being made don't feel left out as it was one of those softer announcements than most gamers are used to nowadays. This would be a new action RPG that Dontnod is working on for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC slated to be published by Focus Home Interactive. Little to nothing has been stated about Vampyr in the mainstream media up to now but that means that now we have a nice cavalcade of information marching upon us. Read More...

A Rubble Without A Cause Coming In King's Quest 2nd Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of December 2015 - 06:01 PM ]
King's Quest The second episode of King's Quest has been teased again only this time we have a date for when we will continue the King's Quest saga started so long ago After almost six months of waiting it looks like the second episode of King's Quest is on its way soon. It is crazy to think that the first episode was released by The Odd Gentlemen back in July and we have all been playing the waiting game since then. But now we can all rest assured that we will see King's Quest again with new content on December 15th for the PS3 and PS4 then the next day (December 16th) for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. I guess it is time to fire up the last episode of King's Quest to get back into the mindset we'll need in two weeks. Read More...

Minecraft: Story Mode Ep. 3's Release Date Is In The Last Place You Look
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of November 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Minecraft The release date for Minecraft: Story Mode's third episode has been revealed as well as a new trailer of Minecraft: Story Mode goodness While I may not have been impressed by Minecraft: Story Mode so far I will have to say that I am impressed that the release windows for each episode are not as far apart as other Telltale Games titles out there. Just under a month and we will have the next episode for Minecraft: Story Mode on November 24th for all. It wasn't as short as the time between the first two episodes but a pass is given as their other IPs in the mix wrapped up as we waited. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Minecraft We Sit Down And Review Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required. This Is The Second Episode Of Telltale's Take On Mojang's Famed Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They Did That was a crazy turnaround time for this episode of Minecraft: Story Mode to be released. Usually it takes at least a month or two before Telltale Games is giving us another episode to whet our whistles and this time we all had a nice two week or so turn around. Kudos to them and I hope they keep pushing the Mojang inspired story out to us in the same manner. Until then though we get a nice look at Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required as we dig into our continued review of this episodic franchise. Read More...
