Hitman HD Enhanced Collection Is Announced & Bringing Two More Classics
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
Hitman An announcement for the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection is here and brings two more Hitman titles into the HD ring very soon Talk about an announcement that seems out of nowhere as we now have word that we are getting a Hitman HD Enhanced Collection for the PS4 and Xbox One. Not only getting it, but it will be bringing two more titles from IO Interactive into the HD arena on January 11th. That is one hells of a turnaround there, especially given that Warner Bros. just brought us the release of Hitman 2 not too long ago. Read More...

The Obligatory 2018 Video Games Year In Review List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Video Games There were a lot of video games that came out in 2018 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here’s a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year, there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had more indie-based video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It, of course, is not a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More...

Relive The Story That Will Lead Up To Metro Exodus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Metro A nice recap of the Metro story so far is here to get us all ready for when Metro Exodus finally launches next year It has been some time between the last title in the series and when we will be seeing Metro Exodus. About five years or so have passed by in the real world and about two in the game world. There is a whole lot of information that we could have missed or let slip through since 4A Games delivered us a title in the franchise. That means that there is a lot riding on Metro Exodus at this point so we may need to recap a few things before diving in on February 15th. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Degrees Of Separation A new video for Degrees Of Separation is here to take us through the basics of Degrees Of Separation and how we can play the game co-op or solo You may have heard a lot about Degrees Of Separation, and seen a little bit before now, but now we are here with the first gameplay out there to show off just what we can expect from this game when it lands on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on February 14th. It has been a long time coming and Moondrop has not been able to give us too much to date. We kind of knew about the two main characters and how this would be a co-op platformer of sorts. Close To The Sun Has A New Publisher & Some New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Close To The Sun A new publisher is here for Close To The Sun as we head into 2019 and also get some new gameplay for Close To The Sun too boot We have not had too many updates for Close To The Sun here on the site, but it is high time that we did. Especially since we are all clamoring for some gameplay and to find out just when the game is going to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Something that should be a little sooner and easier to do as Storm In A Teacup is now all partnered up with Wired Productions to do just that for Close To The Sun. A happy day indeed for those looking to see if the Unreal Grant was going to be enough or if they were going to be able to focus on making the game we have been looking for since its announcement. Life Is Strange 2’s Next Episode Has A Solid Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange The release date for Life Is Strange 2’s second episode has been set and we get to rewatch a live version of an iconic scene from Life Is Strange 2 now We have been waiting for the next episode for Life Is Strange 2 for a bit now and last we heard it was coming in January at some point. Nothing had been set in stone as DontNod tried to get the game to a place where it would meet our ever-demanding standard when it comes to our games. Especially with an IP like Life Is Strange, we are going to be critical and thankfully, Square Enix let them take that extra time. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 15th of December 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Thus concludes another fun week in the world of video games here. More or less trying to catch up on all of the news that surprised us at the end of last week, but we finally were able to get to it all. We did not even have a chance to get to everything. Even after taking in the news of video games like Hades and World War Z, we still had many other smaller titles fall through. Read More...

Metro Exodus Gold status has hit Metro Exodus and with that comes a few release date changes bringing the launch of Metro Exodus closer than expected The release date for Metro Exodus has been shifted again, but in this instance, it is a good thing. At least for those who have been waiting to get their hands on the latest from 4A Games. The game has finally gone gold and it will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC a week earlier than expected. Now we will be able to start playing Metro Exodus on February 15th of 2019 instead of February 22nd as we were told by Deep Silver the last time we had a release date to go for the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Beyond Good & Evil New gameplay for Beyond Good & Evil 2 is here and shows us what some may have missed a few months back when Beyond Good & Evil 2 had its showing So many of us have been waiting to see what Beyond Good & Evil 2 truly has in store for us and have been left out of the true loop for a while now. At least I know I have as I have only seen the small developer diaries and short videos that Ubisoft has shared out there to date. That is why I am glad to be back here to show off some of the new gameplay for Beyond Good & Evil 2 that was actually shown off back at E3. Read More...

Go Back In Time With New Gameplay For Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Ancestors A plethora of new gameplay is here for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey so you can see just how the game has evolved to the Ancestors we have now Finally we have some of the first real gameplay to look at here for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey all fresh from The Game Awards. Sure, we have had some nice little teases from Panache Digital Games in the past with some screenshots, but that is not true gameplay. Given that this is a huge deviation of gameplay style for the creative director of some Assassin’s Creed, there is a lot riding on Ancestors before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In terms of reputation more than anything as this is a deviation from what we know. Read More...

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Is About To Show Where The First Hidden Blade Started
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of November 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed The first major DLC for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is about to drop on us and it looks like there is a solid tie back to Assassin’s Creed II By now we should have all known that the first major DLC for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was about to hit our PS4, Xbox One, or PC on December 4th. Ubisoft has been fairly open on when we can expect to continue our journey along in the game, if you have completed the core one too. What is interesting now is that we have a launch trailer for this DLC and it looks like we are getting another solid tie-in to another title in the franchise. Read More...

The Next Episode For Life Is Strange 2 Is Slated For January
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of November 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange There has been a little bit of a delay for Life Is Strange 2's next episode but we will see ourselves in the world of Life Is Strange again soon If you were hoping to be able to play the next episode for Life Is Strange 2 here in December, it is time to get ready for a bit of a letdown. It does not look like we will see a new episode drop around this month as it looks like DontNod needs a bit more time to get it all done. Sad news, sure, but the wait will not be too great as it looks like we will be seeing it land in January of 2019. Read More...

Review — Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of November 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed We sit down and review Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The next in the long-running franchise that takes us to Ancient Greece. Here is our review of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey It has been a long time and we have finally hit an era I have been hoping for with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, as we have gone back to Ancient Greece to see how it fits into the grander scheme of the franchise. It has been the location and era I have been selecting for years now when Ubisoft has placed out their surveys looking for ideas. It just seems right for the Assassin’s Creed universe to me and now we are heading there. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week By the gods it is a busy time for video games and gamers out there. By my estimations, we are in for a bit more before we hit that end of the year lull that usually kills us all. Not the gamers, but those of us bringing you all of these updates. Not that we will not have more to share for Spider-Man or Kingdom Hearts III, but we will be in a break mode all around. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of November 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Metro Exodus One more edition of Metro Exodus is here for your pre-order although this one may or may not come with an actual copy of Metro Exodus Get your pocketbooks ready to take another hit as we have a new Spartan Collector’s Edition for Metro Exodus to start eyeballing here. Just one more way to be able to pick up 4A Games’ next entry into the Metro universe here for the hardcore fans. Even if we do have to wait until February 22nd to be able to play the full version of Metro Exodus on our Xbox One, PS4, or PC. Read More...
