So here's another new IP announcement that came out of Gamescom. Remember Me is a new game coming out of Dontnod Entertainment and Capcom that looks a lot like Assassin's Creed and Deus Ex all mixed in with Inception. Review: Sniper Elite V2

Rebellion Developments just gave us a "reboot" or "remake" of the 2005 shooter of the same name, Sniper Elite: V2 which takes place in the same time frame. This time rather than infiltrating the Nazi Army in disguise, you are a lone sniper against both the German and Russian WW2 militaries. Referencing the real life "Operation Paper," you must sneak behind lines and kill, or rescue, German scientists from creating and launching deadly V2 rockets. The game plays very smoothly; only on few occasions, and probably at my provoking the system, did I experience any spots of being stuck or absurd clipping. Do We Really Need More Reasons To Buy Prototype 2?

How many reasons do you need to pick up Prototype 2? For me it was the sheer fact that there is a sequel to the game coming out that sold it for me. Then again I am a huge fan of the first and have seen nothing but good things for PT2. Those of you on the fence may want to take a look at the below trailer which will show you another 11 reasons why you should pre-order the game or give it a go when it finally launches. LittleBigPlanet Karting Confirmed By Sony

So correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Sony already had a title that was pretty much LittleBigPlanet Karting. Or at least what one can assume that LBPK will be all about. You know a little game called ModNation Racers. A racing game that also focuses on the ability to Play, Create and Share. So what is up with this new announcement? I will say that it may be a little premature to judge LittleBigPlanet Karting as being pretty much the same thing since there has yet to be anything other than the announcement as of yet. Add Another Title To The PS Vita's List, Mortal Kombat

So given all of the issues that the kids from South Park have taken on in the show, you'd figure it would be easy to assume that some of these people, places or things would make it over into South Park: The Game. Those assumptions obviously would be right and by looking below you can see a few new shots of the RPG title in the works at Obsidian Entertainment and THQ. Grand Theft Auto V Now Has It's Trailer...Straight Outta Vinewood

The wait is now over GTA fans. The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto V can be seen below in all of its glory. At least in the glory of having a trailer that really doesn't tell us much. Outside of heavy hints at a Los Angeles-type setting and a time period of being current. But hey, it is better than just having a tweet that said the game was coming. We all get to see that the game is in full production and not just some pre-production limbo for now. I, for one, was wishing that Rockstar would have deviated from the normal GTA staples and gone outside of the box - at least in the realm of game world. Read More...

Review: X-Men: Destiny

I am both a fan of X-men and comic books in general. I have many fond memories of playing the four-player, beat-em up style Konami arcade game back in the 80's and I have spent more than a few hours playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 with my buddies. Silicon Knights' newest title, X-Men: Destiny, should have been a no-brainer - backed by such a great concept as it boasted being the next great brawling action game where you could create the mutant you always believed should be in this universe. Unfortunately due to its execution, the game becomes really diluted, which knocks it down a few notches on the likeability scale. Shank 2 Announced

EA has announced that they are working with Klei Entertainment on a sequel to Shank, simply titled "Shank 2" at this point. After killing the criminals who betrayed him, former mob hit man Shank must protect his loved ones from the mob he once worked for. So far no release date has been given, but we can surely expect this one to come out sometime in 2012.
