Review — High Noon VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of January 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
High Noon We sit down and review High Noon VR. An old-west shooting gallery in a VR setting. Here is our review of High Noon VR When it comes to VR one of the staple genres that come to mind are the shooter or shooting gallery style game and this is where we find High Noon VR in the mix of it all. It is a bit more than just that out of the gate, but that is about the basics to get us all started here with Octobox Interactive's VR title that hit the PC through various means here not so long ago. Just like other platforms in the past, they needed something to fill a need and that is just what this game is aiming, pun intended, to do. Read More...

New Pre-Alpha Gameplay For Dead Dozen Has Shambled Out To Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Dead Dozen Hot off the official announcement of Dead Dozen, we have some new pre-alpha gameplay to look at and see just what we could be getting ourselves into with Dead Dozen Back in November, we had a nice little tease for an upcoming title called Dead Dozen. More or less it looked like another Zombie Shooter coming from Fntastic Entertainment and had very little to go on outside of the eleven versus one style of gameplay it was going to have. One player would spawn in as the "ghoul" in the match and the other eleven would be survivors who needed to barricade themselves in a building and survive the onslaught of the ghoul. Obviously, there is a bit more to Dead Dozen than that, but this was all that we had from before and things were looking grim as the world it is set in. Read More...

The Dealer Will Be Joining Into More Of The Fun Of Hand Of Fate 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Hand Of Fate New DLC for Hand Of Fate 2 is here and it looks like The Dealer will be joining in on the fights of Hand Of Fate 2 in his own way There is more Hand Of Fate 2 on the way out there for those fans who have played, beaten, and enjoyed the game. Given the popularity of the franchise that Defiant Development has here, it makes perfect sense and players on the PC version of the game can get said DLC right now and add in The Dealer as a new companion to the game. PS4 and Xbox One owners of Hand Of Fate 2 will need to wait until next year to get it, but seeing as it looks like it is a free bit of DLC here just for owning and beating the game, can you really complain? Well, of course you can, it just would not make much sense at the end of the day. Read More...

Biomutant Has A Load Of New Screenshots To Dig Through
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of November 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Biomutant More screenshots for Biomutant are out there, we have them to look at, and so we can try to make head and tails out of Biomutant's current status I hope that you were looking for some new screenshots for Biomutant, as that is what we have here for you. You most likely caught wind of all of that from everything above, but since Experiment 101 has taken the time to put them all together and THQ Nordic has doled them all out, it is worth taking the time to give it all a little build up. A release date for Biomutant would have been nice to come along with it all here, but we will have to take what we can get for now and some new screenshots are just about it. At least these ones seem to show off more than just the little "rodent" that we will be controlling when the game finally does launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2018. Read More...

Biomutant Has Some New Gameplay To Show Off Character Creation & Combat
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Biomutant New gameplay for Biomutant has popped up online and it goes through the character creation of Biomutant as well as some of the starting combats Back at Gamescom we had our first look at Biomutant and were left to speculate on all of the ins and outs of the game as it was really just a cinematic trailer with an announcement that the game was in the works. Now we jump to the most recent PAX, and now we have some new gameplay foot age for the game so we can see what Experiment 101 is really up to with the game. Or at least get a good look and feel for what could be coming with Biomutant and if it truly fits into the list of titles that THQ Nordic is known to bring us as of late. Read More...

Little Nightmares Is Getting A New ‘Complete Edition’ Of The Games
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Little Nightmares It seems that Little Nightmares has done so well that we are all in need of a complete edition of Little Nightmares that is now coming in October Earlier this year we were all treated to a nice little game called Little Nightmares. Well, at least you had the chance to treat yourself to the game if it looked to fit into your particular interests. It was a dark adventure game from Tarsier Studios that caught a lot of great attention and fared rather well among all of the critics out there back in April. It looks like Little Nightmares fared so well that now on October 27th Bandai Namco is bringing the game back to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in a new form with the Complete Edition of the game. Biomutant Is Announced & Bringing So Much To This Kung Fu Fable
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Biomutant A new title, Biomutant, was announced at Gamescom and it looks like Biomutant will be bringing the best in bionics, mutants, and Kung Fu in 2018 Get ready for another new IP to come to us all as Biomutant has been given the full announcement treatment out at Gamescom here in the way of a cinematic trailer. That does not do too much to show off this title from Experiment 101 in terms of gameplay, but it does show that THQ Nordic is still open to some amazing looking ideas and this is what we have here. Especially since Biomutant is listed as a Kung Fu Fable but it also includes the combination of mutant powers, bionics, and weapons in an open-world action RPG. Read More...

Jurassic World Evolution Has Been Announced For Summer Of 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Jurassic World If the Jurassic World films are not enough for you, then get excited as Jurassic World Evolution has just been announced to launch alongside the film We have another game that just received its announcement and that would be Jurassic World Evolution. Yes, we are getting a new game in the franchise here next year and it is coming to our PS4, Xbox One, and PC all around the same time that the next feature film drops. That makes this sound like a film tie-in to me and we all know how all of that goes. I am not saying that Jurassic World Evolution is going to fall directly into that design as many others have, but it does not sound like the best thing. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/31/17 — 8/4/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the bag and there was still so much we didn't get to. Even with it only being SDCC and Animazement being the big conventions that just happened there seems to still be a whole lot of new information and updates out there. More so with Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Agents Of Mayhem, and Observer all just about to release next week and massive info dumps for all of those video games adding on to all of the other things. There is still much more we have to bring you from the conventions that will pick up next week as long as things don't go completely off the rails out there for it all. Read More...

Cosplay Culture Was Out In Force At Animazement 2017
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Friday, 4th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Animazement There was a lot going on at Animazement but I will say that Animazement was the best place for cosplaying Ever since we were young many of us dreamed of growing up to become our favorite video game or anime character. I had no clue that so many years later I’d be going to conventions like Animazement dressed as a vault dweller and seeing so many others donning their amazing costumes. People draw inspiration from a variety of sources. Comics, Anime, and Video Games just to name a few. Read More...

Check Out The Gaming That Was Out At Animazement 2017
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Thursday, 3rd of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Gaming During Animazement 2017 there was a lot of gaming going on and I was out there to check out all the fun anime and gaming things Anime has long held an influence in the world of video games. During gaming's rise to prominence within mainstream culture during the 70s and 80s which was helped greatly by a little known Japanese company that is still around today, Nintendo is a global giant in video games and has been for decades. While gaming was becoming increasingly popular so has anime with shows like Mobile Suit Gundam and Speed Racers. Manga, which much anime is derived from, had been around for much longer, but its expansion into becoming animated only helped it to grow and evolve. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of July 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Omen Of Sorrow A lot of new looks for Omen Of Sorrow have come out of EVO this year as well as gamers having access to play Omen Of Sorrow during the event New gameplay for the fighting game Omen Of Sorrow has been shown off out at EVO this year as well as the ability to play it if you happen to be on the show floor during the event. Most likely if you are reading this then that means you are not on the floor watching all of the fighting games playing out nor are you enjoying the new title that AOne Games is putting together. That's okay though as we have footage of Omen Of Sorrow in action here to keep you in the loop as well as a look at some of the super moves that a few of the twelve characters will be able to drop in the game when all is said and done. It Looks Like There Is Some New Fallout Speculation Out There
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 11th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Fallout Things out in the rumor mill about Fallout are pointing to Bethesda announcing a new open-world Fallout game at E3 this year Sometimes it’s cool to wonder and speculate. When Bethesda did their first big E3 press conference they unveiled the long anticipated Fallout 4 in a mighty fine fashion. I was just as surprised to see them making it an annual thing with BE3 2017 confirmed just a few months ago. Now I wouldn’t expect them to keep showing up unless they have something huge coming. Review — She Remembered Caterpillars
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 10th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
She Remembered Caterpillars We sit down and review She Remembered Caterpillars. Beautiful, but lacking in fun. Here's our review of She Remembered Caterpillars She Remembered Caterpillars is an indie puzzle game that was released at the beginning of the year that I only recently discovered. It is developed Jumpsuit Entertainment, a small German team, and as far as I can see this is the team's first game together. I felt like it could do with a review. The gameplay for She Remembered Caterpillars isn’t anything special. Read More...
