Hey I remember when The Darkness came out. I also remember I was not able to play it due to my lack of fundage but I did get to take the demo for a whirl. Obviously not enough to make any decent or well informed judgment on the game. Nor any good point of reference for the announcement of the sequel that has just been announced quite simply named The Darkness II. Well look what just popped up in my inbox, new Dungeon Siege III screens and some good looking game play video. It was only last week that Square Enix announced an official release date. Let the countdown begin. The coming battle for the Kingdom of Ehb draws near! For those of you that need a little refresher Dungeon Siege III is the continuation of the Dungeon Siege franchise from Gas Powered Games, except this time it's being brought to you by Square Enix and Obsidian Entertainment, two well known names in the RPG gaming world. Ok, so we can't really say that he wins as it is only a screen shot of Jax beating down Striker in the new Mortal Kombat, but it is a fun title. Not to mention that with the way Striker's face is being slammed it is easy to extrapolate the end results of the fight to that end. I mean unless it is a lucky shot and Jax is just going to have a cap busted in his ass when Striker gets back up. It is also nice to see a few more views of the new game as well in between the fun little videos that Nether Realm pumps out every now and then. Catwoman and Poison Ivy have nothing on Harleen Quinzel in my book. It's that little spark of true insanity that gives her that little edge for me. Today Guardians of Graxia (Reviewed here) is getting its first full expansion pack Elves and Dwarves. With the new expansion come new guardians, new units, new abilities and six new skirmish maps. It's a pretty big deal. New Guardians First out of the gate are the new guardians, GoG is introducing a new elf and dwarf Guardian with corresponding units. Now here is an interesting twist that could occur with the upcoming Batman: Arkham City, co-op play with the Clown Prince of Crime! At least from a video that seems to have been leaked out through a few European websites that shows just that. Rockstar Games just released a new game play trailer for their upcoming title, L.A. Noire. Oh and the release date of May 17th here in the US. So just as Sony did when GoWIII was hitting its console, Epic is doing the same for GoW3 for the 360. Those titles being God of War III and Gears of War 3 respectfully before I move on. So yes this means that if for some reason you held out on getting either of the Gears of War titles, you can look forward to getting a combo pack with both of those games on disc to catch you up with everything before the big daddy hits.
