SOMA is the latest title to be announced from Frictional Games (Amnesia and Penumbra) and is slated for Windows, Mac, Linux, and PS4. It also happens to have a release window of…2015. Ok, so that headline is only half way true. Tango Gameworks and Bethesda are also looking for some awesome The Evil Within fan art or costumes inspired by everything they have released for the game so far and not just Boxman. You could also go with Nails-In-The-Face or Octo-Hair-Wavy-Girl if you are so inclined. Granted those names are made up by myself and not the "official" names being used by the studio or the publisher but if you look at the trailers and screen shots then mix in their 'clever' name for Boxman it is an easy assumption. We still don't have a solid date on when we can expect the story DLC for BioShock Infinite, but that doesn't stop the train of fun. Most fans of the franchise can't wait to go back into Rapture with Booker and Elizabeth. I'd be lying if I wasn't interested in see if this will be a side story to BioShock and not just another side dimension that takes place in Rapture with no real hooks to the original story. I'm going to guess that it is a side dimension with considerable similarities to the original Rapture we wandered in BioShock and BioShock 2, but we'll see. The Walking Dead from Telltale has been out for some time now for every device with one of the most recent being the PS Vita. Now I know what you are thinking "is there a reason I should get the game again?" Well with the PS Vita comes a few extra hardware additions that just were not available on the console or PC so let's dig in and see if your third or fourth play through will be worth it on Sony's handheld device. Good news for all you gamers out there who crave an extra challenge with your games. It has been announced that Batman: Arkham Origins will have a new difficulty mode called "I Am The Night" mode. This mode will only unlock after you have beaten the game not once, but twice. You complete the game once, I am assuming to unlock the second to hardest mode, and then complete the game again on New Game Plus mode. Of course you do. In fact I have the game play that I got to watch for my E3 Impressions for The Evil Within here. Not exact as in step by step, but I do have all the sections that I was shown in the dark room. I want to start off this whole thing with a nice quote from the amazing film Orgazmo. Take a look before I go into the bulk of what I want to talk about in this posting about the "over sexualization" in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V and comments made my Kojima. Just in case you skipped the clip, I don't know why you would have, it is pretty much how I feel about this whole "Sexy up" the characters in the game drama all over the internet. If you haven't heard this yet, doubtful, there was a huge splash made when Hideo Kojima spoke about making the characters in MGSV more erotic in hopes to get cosplayers and figurines of the game all over every convention. Now in the coming year(s) here we are getting a "Re-Imagining" of the game exclusively on the PlayStation 4. With the below trailer straight out of Gamescom, we are up to five of the eight assassins hunting Batman in Arkham Origins now. There are still loads of other villains, NPCs and sidekicks announced as well, but now we can add Firefly to the list of killers. Also it looks like there might be some pretty damn cool fight/flight scenes mixed in with this new character as well. Keep an eye out in the trailer and you'll most likely see what I am talking about.
