A new gameplay demo for Alan Wake 2 has made its way online to show us the Alan Wake 2 game we may never get It always sucks when a game like Alan Wake 2 will never see the light of day. Pun intended. What sucks more is when you get to see what the game could have been via gameplay demo and proof of concept work. That is what we have here to spread the hurt from Remedy moving on to do Quantum Break over Alan Wake 2 for their next huge title. The prior looks amazing and don't get me wrong, I still want it, but after seeing what the team was doing for Alan Wake 2 it is quite upsetting that we may have to be left waiting for a long time to see anything you are about to see hit our Xbox One or Xbox 360. The second batch of story DLC for The Evil Within has been released and it continues the perils of Detective Kidman of the game It's been building up until today as The Evil Within finally gets its second bit of DLC: The Consequence. This would be the continuation of the story DLC for the game that Bethesda and Tango Gameworks have been bringing it to our systems at home. You know, part of that Season Pass we all paid for last year when The Evil Within first launched and we've been slowly getting more and more as we reach the anniversary of the original launch. I know I should felt like there should have been a bit more. We have a new gameplay trailer for Blood Bowl 2 and it shows how the Chaos All-Stars could play a game of football… Until now I have not been completely sold on Blood Bowl 2. It just looked like one of those games that were really targeted toward a very small subgroup of gamers. Most likely not the truth but that is how it has come across to me since the game was first announced by Focus Home. Now we have a new trailer out for Blood Bowl 2 and either they broadened the subgroup a bit or there is just something now that has caught my attention. We now have our first look at Trans-Galactic Tournament, a free to play MOBA coming for the PS4 from Kiz Studios I can hear the groans already coming for Trans-Galactic Tournament as we have the words Free-To-Play and MOBA being thrown around for this new PS4 game. If you can try to look past all of that for a moment you may be able to see the game that Kiz Studios is working that should really be labeled "What if the Star Wars cantina starred in an 80’s cartoon, which suddenly broke out into a football match, which suddenly broke out into WrestleMania?" I only really see a little of any of that in the following gameplay trailer for Trans-Galactic Tournament but maybe I am already jaded by the original label that comes with the stigma for free. The second DLC pack for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be hitting PS3, PS4, and PC at the end of April If all of you non-Xbox Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare players out there were feeling a little left out with the second DLC pack that is part of your Season Pass, now is the time to know you won't have to wait much longer for the pack to hit the PS3, PS4, and PC versions of the game. You will know now but still will have to wait until April 30th as that is when the pack will be available for you to download and enjoy in all of the new features, maps, and Exo Zombie fun that the Xbox 360 and Xbox One players have had for a month already. At least that is how I am seeing this new announcement as I loved Don't Starve and have been looking forward to what the developer may come up with next. Following yesterday's tease, Activision and FreeStyleGames have announced Guitar Hero Live to be the next reboot to the popular franchise Hot off the tease from yesterday we now officially have Guitar Hero Live and it is looking to reboot the franchise with some new features and a new peripheral for the game. We'll dig into all of that in a moment but here we have it; Guitar Hero Live is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Android, and iOS platforms sometime later this year. TT Games and Warner Bros. have announced LEGO Dimensions which is another title that mixes real toys with digital worlds Just in case you didn't have enough clutter around with Disney Infinity and Skylanders it looks like we are getting another toy-to-game mash-up with LEGO Dimensions. This would be the next new LEGO title coming from TT Games and Warner Bros.; at least if you forget about that LEGO Jurassic World title on its way as well. None the less we are getting LEGO Dimensions but the cool thing here is that the developers have taken a few great steps to separate this title from all of the other titles out there as you get to actually build the toys you will be sending into the game. I will say that this one was a bit more lackluster than any in year's past but I'll take it. None the less we were still able to bring you a plethora of video game news through the week although again Mortal Kombat X seemed to dominate the legitimate news of the April Fool's week. If it wasn't for that we would have only had the Game Of Thrones review and the little bit for the Call Of Duty DLC and Batman: Arkham Knight. Game streaming service OnLive is shutting down at the end of the month but Sony has purchased some of their tech for some reason Some of you may have heard of OnLive or maybe even used the video game streaming service over the last few years since its launch. For those not in the know OnLive was a cool litter service that allowed users to purchase and play PC games without the need for a high-end system to run the graphics at the best settings. I was lucky enough to have used some of their hardware in the past and while the controller to keyboard syncs were not always the best, the service was nice and it did what you were paying for. Sadly it wasn't as big of a hit as the company had wanted and will be shutting the service down on April 30th. Read More...
