Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site One more grueling week of video games in the bag here and it was yet another one filled with all kinds of fun. We had some of the aftermath of GDC to still filter through here as well as the start of PAX East and soon SXSW. Those are just the conventions for all these video games at that as we also saw a whole lot for Injustice 2 and Mass Effect: Andromeda flow out here this week. Mass Effect The launch trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda is out to look upon and there have also been a lot more on this new Mass Effect's features & characters With still only a little more than a week until we are all playing Mass Effect: Andromeda and forgetting everything else that is out for now, it looks as if BioWare opted to give us another massive information dump for the new game as well as a pretty solid looking launch trailer well before it is generally warranted. I'm not going to complain as the more I get to see for Mass Effect: Andromeda the happier and more excited I get for sure. More so when it is all done in an extremely cinematic way which is even more fitting for the whole franchise so far and I personally applaud it all. Read More...

Paragon The next character for Paragon has been revealed and we will all see Yin join the Paragon roster here next week in the usual update Another three weeks have gone by and here we are yet again with another fighter to join in for Paragon. It's hard sometimes to realize that much time has actually passed here and now we have one more character added in by Epic Games, but none the less here we go. This new Paragon hero is Yin and she looks like she is here to whip everyone into shape as well as use the winds of the world to her advantage. At least that is how the description goes and we'll know for sure when she officially adds to the ranks on March 14th during the normal update that comes every three weeks. Read More...

The Crow's Eye New gameplay for The Crow's Eye is here and it looks like the release date has been set for The Crow's Eye as well in a few weeks Earlier in the year here we were treated with a nice little tease for a game called The Crow's Eye. It looked to be an interesting psychological puzzle style game that 3D2 Entertainment was going to test our brains and sanity with and then there wasn't much more of a word from it since. I know it piqued my interest when I saw it and was eagerly waiting to see some solid gameplay and possibly a date to look out for when it would hit my PC. As it turns out though, it looks like both have been answered here as The Crow's Eye will be launching on March 20th here and we also have some solid gameplay to look at and see if it will hold up to the speculations. Guardians Of The Galaxy New screenshots for Guardians Of The Galaxy have been placed out there with word on when we'll see Guardians Of The Galaxy in action before launch We've all been waiting for something to come out officially for the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy title that Telltale Games is working on but since its originally announcement back in December all we've had have been rumors and speculation. Things like the "leak" that we may see the first episode at least before the end of April, the 25th is still the date in rumor, as well as very little on what the game's story will actually revolve around. Given that Marvel has made it clear that their video games don't need to follow the Film and TV franchise continuity if they don't want to, this version of the Guardians Of The Galaxy is rather up in the air and still fraught with mystery. No Man's Sky Another big update has come to No Man's Sky and it brings new modes and crafts to No Man's Sky to further the overall gaming experience Hopefully you've been sticking with No Man's Sky if you are one of those gamers who bought into all the hype before the game's launch. Why is that? Well it looks like the next big patch for the game is ready and being deployed out there from Hello Games. There have been a lot of features added on in the last major patch but here we go with even more that will bring on some new gameplay modes for No Man's Sky and new trophies for those hunters out there. Mass Effect A few more videos for Mass Effect: Andromeda have released to show us the worlds we'll explore in Mass Effect: Andromeda and some of the characters helping us along One of the bigger things we will be doing in Mass Effect: Andromeda is exploring new worlds to find a suitable home for us to grow and flourish on. At least that is what the videos and descriptions we've been getting have been pointing to. Styx It looks like Styx will be getting another buddy in Styx: Shards Of Darkness and this time it is one of your real-world friends The wait for Styx: Shards Of Darkness is finally over as the game finally comes to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 14th. That's not exactly why we are here though as not only is Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive bringing the game to us but they are also bringing in the ability to play the game with a friend. Not the friend that we've seen already for Styx in terms of his clone but we are getting Co-Op game play in Shards Of Darkness. As if setting up all of our kills solo wasn't going to be fun enough but now we can do it with any of our friends who also enjoy slaying with this little goblin. Read More...

Game Pass It has just been announced that Xbox Game Pass is coming to us all soon and Xbox Game Pass will let us play many backwards compatible titles for a low monthly fee As if we didn't have enough games to play in general, it looks like we now have Xbox Game Pass to look forward to this Spring. This would be a new service that has been announced that will be we some are calling a Netflix for Xbox games. More or less Xbox Game Pass is another subscription service that will let you play 100 different titles as you wish on the Xbox One that also houses a load of backward capable titles from the Xbox 360. Mass Effect Seventeen more minutes of Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay is out there now and it shows off one of Mass Effect: Andromeda's missions & how they can change Here we go with seventeen more minutes of Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay to look at and enjoy. Not only more to look at but more to see in actual motion and not being driven by someone over at BioWare who wants to show off nothing but the best, but a nice little showing of one of the game's missions. Well, at least part of the mission as it would be a little soon to start spoiling Mass Effect: Andromeda with all of that for now. Avatar A new Avatar video game has been announced & this Avatar game is in development from the studio that brought us Tom Clancy’s The Division If you've been hoping to get more Avatar in your life, even outside of the planned sequels that are coming, then it is time to get hyped up as it looks like there is a new video game in the works for the franchise. It has just been announced that Massive Entertainment has partnered up with all the players of the franchise and will be developing a game based on the universe. Not only that, but the game will be using the most recent version of the Snowdrop Engine that made The Division look so nice to bring all of this to a PS4, Xbox One, or PC near you. Read More...

So far reviews have stayed in the positive side of things and with each new bit of gameplay or footage it is getting easier to see why. Mass Effect: Andromeda Another gameplay video for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been released with more focus on combat but also how your team in Mass Effect can deliver a great one-two punch The combat training keeps flowing here for Mass Effect: Andromeda as we have the next video in the series that BioWare is giving us to show off the game a bit more. This is the second video in the series here and this time around we get to see how the combat profiles will work in the game as well as how you can team up with your squad. We will all have to take more care with setting all of that up now as it looks like the combination of things in Mass Effect: Andromeda has jumped up from where it was before but all in a way that looks to make the game just that little bit easier for us.
