Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week I have a feeling that will be the last easy week for video games for the next month or so as we are now in the E3 pond and waiting. We had a few things leak out there or get the full announcement this week. I am sure that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was supposed to be one of those video games, but at least we also had a nice announcement with Fallout 76 in the mix. We Happy Few The PrE3 trailer for We Happy Few is here and it shows that We Happy Few is still on its way after the many delays it has been hit with We finally have more to look at for We Happy Few here just before E3. It, like many other videos we will have before the event, is not too much in terms of anything new or mind-breaking for the game. No, it is more in the line of a reminder that Compulsion Games is still working on it and will have more to show at the event directly. At least it is safe to think that as it is only about fifty-seconds of gameplay for We Happy Few that we have here and it would be a bit of a waste to give us all just this and then nothing at one of the larger events of the year. Underworld Ascendant A new gameplay trailer for Underworld Ascendant is here just before its E3 showing and with it comes the release window for Underworld Ascendant Let us all make sure to hold nothing back for E3 this year as we have another trailer out there and this one is for Underworld Ascendant. Okay, maybe not the biggest or most hidden of game announcements out there but OtherSide Entertainment has been working hard on the game for a while now and we should take note of it in the mix of all of the other big PC games getting the fancier shows out there. Especially now that it is known that Underworld Ascendant will be dropping for everyone in September now and will be bringing it with it all of the Action-RPG elements some gamers have been craving for a bit. The Council We sit down and review The Council: Hide And Seek. This is the second episode of Big Bad Wolf’s interesting take on history & the occult. Here’s our review of The Council: Hide And Seek After a good chunk of time, it looks like the second episode, The Council: Hide And Seek, is finally here for this episodic game. The first episode showed us all how the episodic story game could be changed and Big Bad Wolf did a lot in the way of advancement for this form of game. It set the bar pretty high and now it is time to see how the next episode for The Council fares in all of the mix up. Read More...

Fear The Wolves Brand new screenshots for Fear The Wolves have dropped in on us to give us a look at some of the locations and horrors Fear The Wolves will hold Here we go with just a little more to look at for Fear The Wolves today as some new screenshots have dropped for the game. Nothing too spectacular, but that all seems to be just to be a tease as Vostok Games should have more for us out at E3 this year. That is as long as Fear The Wolves is not slapped with down by other Battle Royale titles out there on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4. LEGO It has been officially announced that LEGO DC Super-Villains is coming and unlike other LEGO video games out there, we get to be the villain It has been teased, "leaked," and now it is official that LEGO DC Super-Villains is going to be a thing and is coming for our PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 16th. Not to steal them, but for us to play and enjoy as the next title from TT Games set in the DC Universe. There have been a whole lot of these, for sure, but as is usually the case, LEGO DC Super-Villains will look to mix it all up a bit and give us something to be excited for with the usual gameplay. Vampyr In a recent developer stream for Vampyr, we had a whole lot of new gameplay to take in so we can better understand what is going on in Vampyr We are now a week away from Vampyr hitting our PS4, Xbox One, or PC and to help that time slip on by, it looks like we have more gameplay to gaze upon for the game. Of course, if you were able to catch the livestream that DontNod brought us from before then you will have already experienced what we will have coming at us here in short order. Mega Man 11 The release date for Mega Man 11 has been set now and we are able to see a new gameplay mechanic coming with Mega Man 11 in October The date has been set and it looks like Mega Man 11 will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 2nd this year so that it can keep up with the whole 30th anniversary celebration that is going on for the franchise. Something that I know Capcom wants us all to keep being reminded of with all of the other collections of the past titles coming along with it. Much like many of the other IPs coming to this point. Jurassic World New gameplay for Jurassic World Evolution has been shown to give us all a feel for what kind of environmental issues we will face for our Jurassic World Even more gameplay for Jurassic World Evolution is here again and it is another nice twenty-minute block of gameplay showing off another of the islands we will need to work on. This one being the Isla Muerta and it also happens to be one of the islands that has harsher weather patterns by default and will cause us to need to react accordingly. It seems like an island we would not want to build our Jurassic World park on but Frontier Developments needed to give us some kind of challenge when it launches on June 12th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Someday You’ll Return A new psychological horror, Someday You’ll Return, has been revealed and Someday You’ll Return will test your ability to be a good father Here we go with another psychological horror title getting announced with Someday You’ll Return with a current goal to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2019. Do not think that is a bad thing as CBE Software is looking to shake up the genre and gameplay style of the “walking simulator” here. Someday You’ll Return is not going to be just that but something deeper and more atmospheric from the basic description and the trailer that has come with this announcement here. Read More...

Detroit The launch trailer for Detroit: Become Human is here to give us one last look at this version of Detroit and get us further pumped up for the game With Detroit: Become Human launching on May 25th it seems high time for that launch trailer to hit us all. That just happens to be what we have here to enjoy today to give us all a little more of the story we are going to get here as well as a nice little look at what else Quantic Dream has crafted. Just like every other launch trailer out there though, it is more sizzle for Detroit: Become Human and less substance. This is a good thing though as I know I would not want to have much of the game's story spoiled only a few days out from launch. Read More...

Friday The 13th The release date for Friday The 13th: The Game’s Single Player Challenges is set and the update is a lot closer than the next Friday The 13th The wait is almost over for all of you fans of single player games who kind of missed out on Friday The 13th: The Game due to your proclivities. It looks like that single-player mode for the game that IllFonic has been hammering away on for the game is about ready and as Gun Media has announced it will be part of the update that is coming on May 24th. Jurassic World New details for Jurassic World Evolution have been revealed that adds a sandbox mode to Jurassic World Evolution as well as some new gameplay Can you feel the rumbling yet? The rumble of Jurassic World Evolution coming at us here soon and bringing with it all of the fun and horrors we have experience in the franchise for decades now. June 12th is not too far off and it looks like Frontier Developments has even more for us to gaze upon and get ready for with the game. Dreams New footage for Dreams has been uploaded to show off were the game has evolved to just before E3 so we can get fully prepared for our Dreams there You can tell we are getting closer to E3 as we start to see more gameplay and B-Roll popping up online just as we have here for Dreams today. Although this all seems to come hot on the heels of Media Molecule showing the game off to multiple different outlets out there but also in preparation for E3. Nonetheless, we have more to look at for Dreams here and it truly shows off how pretty much anyone out there will be able to make their own levels and "games" once it all comes to the PS4.
