Friday The 13th A new feature for Friday The 13th: The Game is coming and this one allows Jason to change things up just as he does in the Friday The 13th films Earlier in the week we caught wind that Friday The 13th: The Game was getting some new single-player challenges mixed in and the hype for the future of the game spiked. Gun Media and IllFonic have been doing a great job in adding and changing things up to the game to keep us all engaged and making it more of the game we all want. Metro Exodus A new batch of screenshots from Metro Exodus are out there now and they show us just how the Moscow of Metro Exodus has changed since we last saw it A little more for Metro Exodus has seeped out there to entice us a bit more and get us further excited for the game. I mean, why else would these all be out there besides that? 4A Games has been working on it for a while now and I know I am excited to see where it all goes. Extinction Learn more of Extinction with the latest trailer that dives into the story of Extinction a bit more as well as the features & mechanics we will be using There is still a bit of time before Extinction launches on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One as April 10th is still a bit further in the future than now. The Evil Within 2 A new update for The Evil Within 2 is bringing first-person gameplay into The Evil Within 2 so you can get a feel for exactly what Sebastian is seeing There is a new way to play The Evil Within 2 coming today (2/14/18) as it looks like Tango Gameworks has given us all the option to play the whole game again in first-person mode. That is right, you will get to hop right into the head of Sebastian and see exactly what he is seeing in the game and give you a new way to play everything. I am a bit surprised that The Evil Within 2 is not getting a full VR release as it looks like Bethesda is doing for all of their huge games as of late, but maybe that is still coming. Read More...

Metro Exodus The size and scope of Metro Exodus has been revealed in a new interview and it looks like Metro Exodus will be taking the franchise into much larger territories We have some new coverage here for Metro Exodus and while it may not be confirming any of the past rumors we had, it does take us into some new places for the franchise and here it is all about the size of the game. Not how long it will take us to play and beat the final version of the game, but how big the world that 4A Games is going to be taking us into will actually be. That and what to expect now that Metro Exodus will be taking us all out of the tunnels and caves but out into the open world and traveling across the decimated Russian landscape. Read More...

This was something that Gun Media had listed on the stretch goals back when they were still looking for funds while IllFonic worked on everything. Metal Gear Another beta test for Metal Gear Survive is coming and it looks to offer up a bit more content for Metal Gear Survive than we have seen in the past You will soon have another chance to give Metal Gear Survive a whirl before it launches on February 20th and this time on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It looks like Konami is bringing us all yet another "beta test" of the game shortly before launch. I put the quotes there as it is most likely going to be more of an early demo of Metal Gear Survive and not a true beta test. Read More...

Egress Add another battle royale game to the genre as we have Egress announced here with Egress also coming sometime in 2018 It looks like the saturation of the Battle Royale genre is coming as we now have Egress announced and coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. At least as it has been announced so far from Fazan Games out there here recently. Of course Egress is not going to be just another in the genre in general, it will house a few different features from other games and genres out there to try to mix things up. Fear The Wolves A new battle royale title, Fear The Wolves, has been announced and Fear The Wolves looks to bring many gamers into the multiplayer world It looks like we are going to have yet another Battle Royale game added into the mix here as Fear The Wolves has been given the full announcement treatment and heading to our PS4, Xbox One, and PCs sometime in 2018. That seems to be like a broken record that is getting played here for Focus Home Interactive titles now. Not a horrible thing as Vostok Games has been working on Fear The Wolves for a while before the official announcement out at the “Le What’s Next de Focus” event that is going on, but it is still something I am taking note of. Vampyr The fourth and final behind the scenes video for Vampyr is here and with it comes a look at the storytelling process of the game as well as the release date for Vampyr The final "episode" of the behind the scenes videos for Vampyr is here and with it comes a bit of a nice treat. It is something that we all figured Focus Home Interactive would do now that we are coming to a wrap on all of this, and all those assumptions were correct. The Surge It has been announced that The Surge 2 is in development and as of right now, The Surge 2 is slated to hit consoles and PC in 2019 It looks like Focus Home Interactive has announced a new title out of Le What’s Next de Focus this year and that title is The Surge 2. After the success of the last one and its DLC, it looks like they have opted to have Deck 13 bring us all a full sequel and bring it to the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 sometime in 2019. Love it or hate it, The Surge 2 is coming and it looks like they are doing what every sequel does; builds upon the past work to make a better title. Smoke And Sacrifice A new survival RPG game, Smoke And Sacrifice, has been announced and to help Smoke And Sacrifice stand out it looks like the game will be hand-illustrated too Hey survival RPG fans. We have another title to keep an eye on here as Smoke And Sacrifice has just been given the announcement treatment and heading to the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC sometime this year. It may have taken a bit of time for Solar Sail Games to get the announcement out there, but now we have our first look at this game and just how it will add to the genre and hopefully push it beyond. Space Hulk A new twist on the Space Hulk franchise has been announced and coming sometime in the near future in terms of Space Hulk: Tactics Another title in the Warhammer 40k franchise is coming here as we have Space Hulk: Tactics announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It looks like the people over at Cyanide Studio is riding the success from their past titles even further as Focus Home Interactive has optioned them to bring this game to us all based off the tabletop game of the similar name. Drop the tactics part off of Space Hulk: Tactics and you will be on point there for what I am talking about. But more or less, it will be the same turn-based title that you could expect but with some twists to make it not a simple port over to the video game world from the physical one. Read More...
