Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Get Ready To Join In On Cal’s Mission In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of September 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Star Wars A new trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is here to give us a bit more background into what part this Star Wars story will play at It is always a good day when we have more to look at for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and here we go with something that looks to be much more telling when it comes to the overall story we are going to experience in the game. Something that I find Respawn Entertainment has been doing well for some time and am glad to see that EA gave them a shot at again with such a great IP. Whether or not the game is going to be any good at the end of it all is still up for debate, but thankfully, we only have a few more months before we get to dive into this Star Wars title and experience everything it has to offer. MediEvil There is a new demo for MediEvil out there for us all to play and experience that will bring a bit of fun over to the full version of MediEvil at launch The State of Play video from yesterday brought all kinds of fun and news to us and it looks like we had much more for MediEvil mixed in yet again. Well, at least, it will be in 2012 when it hits the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch as Herobeat Studios keeps hammering away on it all for now. This is just where we are at with it as HandyGames rolls out the announcement for Endling right now as it points us to the sad world where foxes face extinction at the hands of humans just as many other animals current do. Experience The First Big Bit That The Surge 2 Has To Offer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of September 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
The Surge The first twenty minutes of The Surge 2 is out there and it looks like it will be a bit of a deviation from The Surge than we may have expected The Surge 2 is only a day out from launch, or hours for those who live in those time zones and all that, but that does not stop us from having a whole lot of new gameplay out there to drag us in. It is nothing that has officially been placed out there by Deck 13 as of yet, obviously, yet it does let us all experience the first twenty minutes of the game. Yes, the first twenty minutes of The Surge 2, which also includes a nice little boss fight we will get to experience in the game. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/16/19 — 9/20/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of September 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games down as we head onward into the oblivion that it is real life. It is why we have these distractions and escapes is it not? Why focus on the real world when we can focus on the various things going on the worlds of Final Fantasy VII and The Surge 2? It makes little sense. Then again, if you do want to stay grounded a bit more we do have video games like Bloodlines 2 and Planet Zoo to keep us somewhere near the real. Read More...

Terminator An announcement for Terminator: Resistance is here to take us all into a new first-person ride set deep in the Terminator franchise It feels like this should have come a bit earlier, but here we are with an announcement for Terminator: Resistance to hit us this coming December 3rd. That would be for the North American region, as it will be hitting the EU and Australian markets on November 15th. Quite a bit of a gap there, but it is how Teyon is going for here. Either way you are going with it, Terminator: Resistance is bringing us a new first-person shooting game for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC all set in the same story from the first two films we have loved for a while now. It Is Almost Time To Go Wild With Planet Zoo
by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 18th of September 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Planet Zoo The Planet Zoo beta is about to kick off and we have a short look at just what will be available from Planet Zoo during the short run Next week will mark the start of the beta test for Planet Zoo for those who have pre-ordered the game. This is something I brought up before on the site. What was a little fuzzy back then was exactly what parts of the game would be available when it goes live on Steam. Obviously, we were not going to have access to the entire version of Planet Zoo when the beta goes live, as it will be Frontier Developments testing some of their online features more than anything. Leap Into A Brand New Adventure With Tamarin
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of September 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Tamarin A new third-person adventure game, Tamarin, is coming this year with all kinds of cuteness and bug-splattering fun the Tamarins can produce All of you had better get ready to squee as we have a new cutesy action-adventure coming with Tamarin. Words that I do not generally like using in general for my day, but it is the way that this new title from Chameleon Games needs to be described. There is no way around it. That does not change the fact that Tamarin is a third-person action-adventure title coming to the PC and PS4 in Q4 of this year. Read More...
