Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Things are starting to slow down and we can start to kick back and enjoy some of those video games we have out there. It is that time of year, and even though the awards of last week gave us some stuff to look at for The Callisto Protocol and a new Mass Effect, I have feeling things will be slowing down a lot more until the new year starts. Control Control is getting some big updates next year and now we can see and know when the Control Ultimate Edition is coming We all knew it was coming and now we know when for the Ultimate Edition for Control. We will be seeing this version of the game out there on from Remedy in February on the 2nd… if you are looking for the digital version on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. For those looking for the physical version of Control Ultimate Edition, then you will have to wait until March 2nd for that. Hood The release date for Hood: Outlaws & Legends is now set down with pre-order allowing early access to Hood a few days early There is now a date set for when we can expect to head into the world of Hood: Outlaws & Legends to try to be the best thief team as possible. That date set down as May 10th for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC from Sumo Newcastle. A little bit of a wait for us to go through, sure, but it is something to look forward to if you have been pining for a game in this vein. Animal Farm The video game form of George Orwell’s Animal Farm is out now and you can see a little more gameplay for Orwell’s Animal Farm right now The day is here and the big game we have all been waiting for is here with the launch of Orwell’s Animal Farm. Okay, it may not be the big game that everyone has had their eyes on for the last eight years that is here today, but we all may need to have a nice break from the dark and grit for a different kind of dark and grit from Nerial. It is also handy to have there if you are still learning from home and want to have an interactive version of the classic Animal Farm story. Prince Of Persia The Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time remake has been delayed and we will have to wait until March to get into the Prince Of Persia again More sad news out there in the world of video games as the Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake remake will be hitting us in March now. It will free up some time in January for us to focus on some other titles, sure, but it will have us waiting for this one from Ubisoft. IONIA Have a look at Rhythm Of The Universe: IONIA as we aim to head to the land of IONIA in the first of many VR games in this line We have a new fantasy anthology heading to our VR platforms out there and now we get a little more of a taste for the one that is kicking it off with Rhythm Of The Universe: IONIA. This would be the first from ROTU Entertainment in their Rhythm Of The Universe series that aims to span a planned seven titles. Observer We sit down and review Spirit Of The North. A journey through the Icelandic lands for a new generation. Here is our review of Spirit Of The North It has been a while since Spirit Of The North first released and some of us out there had a chance to experience it. It is a very atmospheric title that has us solving puzzles along with some beautiful landscapes. Something that Infuse Studio set out to make look just as pretty as it was engaging. Planet Zoo The next update for Planet Zoo is coming and it will add in some new aquatic animals into the mix for Planet Zoo Planet Zoo has another update and DLC coming this December 8th with this one bringing us more of the aquatic wildlife we might have been missing before. Animals like the King Penguin, Grey Seals, and Giant Otters will be among the creatures that we will soon get to play with in this next expansion. This also means that Frontier Developments will be packing in some new scenery pieces for Planet Zoo to go along with these new animals. No Straight Roads The holidays are coming to No Straight Roads, as we have a Christmas Edition for No Straight Roads coming soon It is that time of year again with all of the holiday updates coming to video games and it looks like No Straight Roads is heading down the path now. This all comes with a free update that we are seeing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC here soon that will add in the Christmas Edition of the game. All with a bunch of new adventures to have in No Straight Roads but with all of the Christian Mythology themed music that everyone pines over during the month.
