Hear How Batman: Arkham Knight Will Drive More Fear With Scarecrow
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new behind the scenes video for Batman: Arkham Knight has been released to show off a few of the voice actors that will be bringing the characters to life in the game It is no big shocker that some of our favorite voices will be gracing Batman: Arkham Knight. Rocksteady has created a franchise with some great new interpretations of the characters so it would make sense that they stay the same across the board or at least have stellar voice actors to help bring them to life. A task that so far has been heard pretty well in the Batman: Arkham Knight videos and trailers. Just to emphasize it more though we have another great behind the scenes video showing off how the voice actors truly are bringing those characters to life again on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Here's Why Batman: Arkham Knight's Season Pass Is So Expensive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Some details about the season pass for Batman: Arkham Knight have been released by Warner Bros. and Rocksteady to better explain the price Last week Rocksteady and Warner Bros. caught a bit of flack over the cost of the recently announced Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass. This would be the $40 add on pack that even I gave them quite a bit of guff over as that is close to the cost of another game just for six month's worth of DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight. Well it looks like the developer and publisher wanted to quell all of our concerns and outrage and give us just a taste of what is to come for the Season Pass that is the most expensive that I can note to date. That is at least covering most titles on PC, Xbox One and PS4 that I cared to take the time to look into. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/27/15 — 5/1/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of May 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Time for more witting, or not-so-witting, banter to wrap up another week of news for video games here. We had a cancellation, a delay, and more sad news in general but at least we were able to see Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Batman: Arkham Knight received a bit more. Not only that but we have more rumors showing us that Watch Dogs 2 could be along the way here soon and then we had a look at a great looking horror title in Night Terrors. Most would say that is a big old game of "nope" but I say bring it on. Read More...

Batman: Arkham Knight's Season Pass To Bring More Villains
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of April 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
A season pass for Batman: Arkham Knight DLC has been announced and details talk about bringing more super-villains into the game over time Hot off the announcement of the Dual Play feature in Batman: Arkham Knight comes an announcement for a DLC season pass for the game. Not too big of a surprise for Warner Bros. and Rocksteady to include this into the mix of Arkham Knight additions as DLC seems to keep the money flowing after the main title is released. Weirdly though, this season pass structure sound like it defines out that there will be a six month period of DLC coming to the game on a regular basis. Read More...

Can Your PC Run Batman: Arkham Knight?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of April 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
The PC specs for Batman: Arkham Knight have been released so you can get your rig ready to play the game at launch As of today we are only two months out from Batman: Arkham Knight hitting our homes. That date being June 23rd. Those who will be diving into Rocksteady's final chapter of the Arkham on the PS4 or Xbox One know how great the game is going to look. As for those PC gamers out there you may not be sure how Batman: Arkham Knight may look and run given how the hardware varies between person to person. That has always been one of the issues I find with PC gaming but luckily you can prep for the launch of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC by looking at the specifications that are recommended to run the game and get the best quality. This Week In Video Games 4/6/15 — 4/10/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of April 2015 - 11:01 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus concludes another wild ride in the world of video games. Again things seemed to be very targeted as we had A LOT of Mortal Kombat X news again, the full announcement of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and a big old tease for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3. All kinds of crazy madness but really only a few games that we were able to fully cover as the dominated this week in video games. Hopefully next week we can be a bit more diverse as we should only have reviews for Mortal Kombat X and that should eliminate half of the week's domination moving forward. Read More...

Now Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Is Fully Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been fully announced and the first details for the game are here for you if you choose If only we could have all waited for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided to be fully announced today. As was mentioned yesterday it started out as rumor and speculation based on an amazing, yet saddening for society, media campaign with a video stream showing off a man imprisoned for unknown reasons and we were allowed to help choose his fate. Then it followed up with Game Informer "leaking" screenshots, concept art, and a bit of footage for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Pretty much they ruined the big reveal that happened this morning for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and that was the announcement trailer and a bit of what to expect for the game when it comes out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in the future. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Has Been Leaked A Bit Early
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Images and a Game Informer cover have been shown off revealing that Square Enix is bringing us Deus Ex: Mankind Divided While the teaser video feed that Square Enix has been pushing is still going on it looks like it is all for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. At least it makes sense given that Eidos Montreal made Deus Ex: Human Revolution and happens to be a Western developer under the Square Enix banner. All of that and the fact that we've had some new screenshots, concept art, and the next cover story from Game Informer "leaked" out before the most likely April 8th official announcement date that was planned. Doesn't it suck that nothing can be kept a true secret anymore in the age of technology and super sleuths online…kind of like the Deus Ex universe… Wait a second… All proselytizing aside, all of these new items and proof of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided coming all started from, as you guessed it, a "leak" on NeoGaf. This Week In Video Games 3/30/15 — 4/3/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of April 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Let's all celebrate as we have survived yet another April Fool's day in the video game industry. I will say that this one was a bit more lackluster than any in year's past but I'll take it. None the less we were still able to bring you a plethora of video game news through the week although again Mortal Kombat X seemed to dominate the legitimate news of the April Fool's week. If it wasn't for that we would have only had the Game Of Thrones review and the little bit for the Call Of Duty DLC and Batman: Arkham Knight. I guess we can't be upset with that as it kept the real news flowing… This week in video game news did have a few interesting questions pop up. Read More...

OnLive Is Shutting Its Doors But Sony Is Getting Some Goods
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Game streaming service OnLive is shutting down at the end of the month but Sony has purchased some of their tech for some reason Some of you may have heard of OnLive or maybe even used the video game streaming service over the last few years since its launch. For those not in the know OnLive was a cool litter service that allowed users to purchase and play PC games without the need for a high-end system to run the graphics at the best settings. I was lucky enough to have used some of their hardware in the past and while the controller to keyboard syncs were not always the best, the service was nice and it did what you were paying for. Sadly it wasn't as big of a hit as the company had wanted and will be shutting the service down on April 30th. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This has been a productive week for video games hasn't it? More on Mortal Kombat X, a delay for Batman: Arkham Knight, some more for Mad Max, and reviews…reviews…reviews! Five reviews in one week and we still have a few more in the works. All kinds of video games releasing and we have to review them right? Of course we do just as long as we can keep up on all of the other news that comes out for any and all video games out there. Press L1 To Even The Odds As Batman: Arkham Knight Has Been Delayed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed by a few weeks now but we have new footage and news to soften the blow So the bad news we have here is that it looks like Batman: Arkham Knight is going to be delayed for about three more weeks. This now pushes the official launch of the game to June 23rd from June 2nd. This news comes straight from the mouths of whoever is handling Rocksteady's PR via the game's Twitter account. I find it a bit odd that they used the word "pleased" when telling everyone out there that one of the most anticipated titles is going to have to wait another three weeks to be played but that is just me. The Real Reasons For Batman: Arkham Knight's Mature Rating
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of March 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
The ERSB has posted the explanation for why Batman: Arkham Knight is being rated 'M' for mature and it is more violence based The fact that Batman: Arkham Knight has been set as a 'M' rated title came as a bit of shock to many when we first heard about it. Up until now Rocksteady has kept everything at least a 'T' for Teen rating with all of the past Arkham titles and I am sure that Warner Bros. wanted to keep it that way as bumping the rating could and most likely will exclude some players and fans of the franchise from experiencing Batman: Arkham Knight. I feel for you up until the point of me getting an awesome and dark game for my PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...
