by Michael Camacho [ Monday, 31st of August 2009 - 01:13 AM ]
Michael, Binh, and Brian are here this week with a shorter than usual episode. They discuss the games they have been playing, including Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Little Big Planet, Red Faction, Batman and Drama Queens. We reveal our latest Bargain Bin titles featuring games for the PC, PS3 and Nintendo DS this week. We also pull out the WD-40 as the squeaking is out of control this episode. We also realize we are going to need plaster to patch up the holes made in the walls. Read More...

New LBP DLC Will Totally Get You Wet
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of August 2009 - 05:05 PM ]
Sack it to Me – the "Big Announcements" Edition You ever hop into the level creator for LittleBigPlanet and feel like there was something missing. Something that stopped you from being able to faithfully recreate the entire game of Super Mario Bros. using their sandbox. Something you couldn't quite place your finger on. Something you had to muddle around with the jet packs a bit to get to work correctly as well as run a blue tint over the entire screen for immersion's sake. Ok, enough of that and on to the point. LittleBigBurn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of August 2009 - 06:31 PM ]
Announcing: LittleBigPlanet – Game of the Year edition If there is one thing I hate when I open up a new DVD or Blu-Ray case, it's when there is an ad for a Special Edition of the same film that I bought coming out in a few weeks/months. A new edition with all the crazy extra features and extras that I wanted in the one I just bought. The kicker is when they advertise this new version for the same price as the one I just bought. It always leaves me burned by the company. Read More...

The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition Review
by Ben Brody [ Tuesday, 21st of July 2009 - 08:25 PM ]
The Secret of Monkey Island has already come out in 3 editions, the floppy version for the Atari ST, Mac, and PC in 1990, the re-release PC version and Amiga versions in 1991, and the much more widely known CD version in 1992 that featured better audio and a new UI. The most recent fourth version, The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition is by far the best. It is available for the PC and 360 and features all new graphics as well as brand new voices recorded by the cast of Curse of Monkey Island (aka Monkey Island 3). The music is also redone and was made by the same composer. Read More...

Who Ya Gunna Call?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of July 2009 - 04:38 PM ]
LBP Ghostbusters So we all knew it was inevitable. With the new BluRay and video game out for the Ghostbusters franchise. Now they are invading the LittleBigPlanet world. Well at least we can assume that with the below image from the PlayStation Blog. No official word has been given about it yet, the blog post is just the image and the phrase "Who Ya Gunna Call?" on it. But it is probably safe to assume that we will be getting the close to racist looking Sack Boy in our LBP sometime in the not to distant future. Read More...

All thing Blizzard! No support for LAN?
by Binh Nguyen [ Monday, 29th of June 2009 - 09:48 PM ]
How did StarCraft become so popular when the game first came out? Well that's simple. It was because Blizzard made it easy for everyone to have LAN parties. Well that is not the case with StarCraft II according to incgamers.com as they interviewed VP of Game Design Rob Pardo of Blizzard. Pardo stated, "We don't have any plans to support LAN." Then flat out said, "we will not support it and only multiplayer available will be on Battle.net. Read More...

Plan It Green
by Jesse [ Thursday, 23rd of April 2009 - 05:14 AM ]
In this day and age, green is the new black. Everywhere people are trying to be more eco-conscious about the way they live and do business (or so they say). Nevertheless, Merscom and National Geographic have teamed up to bring us a game that is all about playing nice with Mother Nature. In “Plan it Green”, gamers will have the chance to play as the mayor of the fictional city of Greenville. Your task will be to change the dreary cityscape and restore Greenville’s once lush beauty. Ratchet and Clank Return to PS3
by Jesse [ Thursday, 26th of March 2009 - 10:58 PM ]
“The Quest Continues in Fall 2009…” This was the phrase that teased a coming sequel following the end of Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest for Booty. Today we know exactly what those words mean. Okay so maybe we don’t know exactly, but at least there’s a title. Insomniac Games unveiled the logo for their upcoming R&C title Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time. Though there aren’t any details at this time, I’d say it’s safe to assume we’ll see A Crack in Time tie in with the previous two R&C games. One interesting point though is that the title logo looks to be cut from a larger image. Read More...

Lost Sneak Attack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of February 2009 - 07:30 PM ]
Lost Planet 2 Announced Yes, in my opinion it was a sneak attack by Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi. Don't believe me, then check out the small blurb sent out from Capcom in their most recent press release about Street Fighter IV selling 2 million + copies. That and it was kind of on the sly released onto XBox Live. Secondly, a hot tip: fire up your Xbox to get a sneak preview of a brand new Capcom title. In an industry-first, we've announced a new game through the Xbox LIVE service, complete with an introductory video from the producer and director. Read More...
