While we all sit around waiting for any news we can get about Kingdom Hearts III, Japan gets their glimpses first. During the first annual D23 Expo Japan a gameplay trailer was released filled with all new content that is coming to Kingdom Hearts III. But first, for those who don't already know, D23 is the official Disney Fan Club. It is named after 1923, which was the year Walt Disney first arrived in Hollywood and created the Disney Company. Recently a Japanese video game news magazine called Famitsu had a conversation with Tetsuya Nomura, the director of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III, in an attempt to get some more information about the game. Thankfully we were able to get a translation of the information. Nomura has confirmed that the game will pick up where Dream Drop Distance left off and will be the final game in the "Dark Seeker" saga that was started in the first Kingdom Hearts game. It's been ten years since we first met Sora in Kingdom Hearts and watched him team up with Donald and Goofy on a quest to find King Mickey and ultimately save the various worlds in the Disney universe from the clutches of the Heartless. Through the next nine games to be released we have watched Sora and company grow up while facing new foes and making new friends along the way. As well as learning of the history of the Kingdom Hearts universe and everyone in it. Square Enix had a big announcement today about everyone's favorite Final Fantasy/Disney crossover. Unfortunately, it wasn't the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3. Kingdom Hearts fans around the world collectively sigh in disappointment as they read about Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, set to release Fall of 2013. It is a compilation for the PlayStation 3 featuring Kingdom Hearts Final Mix; Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories; and story cut scenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
