The Drummer From Def Leppard Only Has One Arm
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of March 2008 - 05:16 PM ]
Def Leppard Songs to Appear in Guitar Hero 4 So even with the new Aerosmith version of the game coming out soon, they are already talking the next iteration and what will be on Guitar Hero 4. As I'm sure you guessed by now, Def Leppard is one of the bands they are going to be placing on the next one. Or at least as the rumor states. Although, I really don't see this staying rumor too long since rumors now a days are getting debunked pretty fast or confirmed pretty fast now-a-days. Read More...

He's Not Racist
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of March 2008 - 03:57 PM ]
Resident Evil 5 Famitsu Trailer Finally some new information about Resident Evil 5. Well not really information, unless you understand Japanese. But for those of you that do not, the above video shows some of the behind the scenes and making of the game. On top of all that, you can actually watch the game play on the XBox in the video. At least that's what I am making the assumption of, since he is using the XBox controller. It looks very promising after watching this. Read More...

by Trina [ Monday, 17th of March 2008 - 07:00 PM ]
Boston's mayor, Thomah Menino is now backing a Massachusetts Bill sponsored by Rep. Linda Dorcena Forry according to GamePolitics.com. The Massachusetts legislature will be talking about the bill on Tuesday. The bill was penned with the help of Jack Thompson, of course, but prior "games as porn" bills have failed in Lousiana and Utah. Entertainment Software AssociationGames-for-Grownups spokesman Dan Hewitt told the Boston Herald, “Every time states have tried to restrict access to First Amendment-protected material, it has been considered unconstitutional.” You can contact the mayor of Boston here: http://www. Sue Is The New Fad
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of March 2008 - 08:14 PM ]
Viacom withdraws 'Guitar' suit I thought that this was all handled and now here it kind of goes again. I'm talking about the Harmonix vs. Activision thing in case you are actually reading this before clicking the link. It looks like this time around it was Harmonix slapping one down on Activision for not abiding by the contract they all agreed on. It looks like Activision signed off on paying royalties for the GH franchise and is not paying what they said they would be. This of course led to what it always does, Court Time. Read More...

Adventures In Babysitting
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of March 2008 - 11:55 PM ]
I Have To Kill The Babysitter... Ok, this has been a blaring issue that I see gets swept aside constantly in today’s society. The Babysitter effect. If you have no clue what I am talking about, then you need to pick up a copy of The Cable Guy or watch it next time it is on TV. This factor is something that is running more and more rampant since the TV became a staple in every home in the, well the civilized world. Let me explain to help those who have not aught up yet. This effect it the idea that more and more parents have that they can leave children in front of the TV and have them stay occupied there. Read More...

Issues With A Bully?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of March 2008 - 10:02 PM ]
Rockstar Apologizes For And Is Working On 360 Bully Now that I've suckered you into the article, time to mess you up. I'll try not to mess you up as bad as Rockstar has made it seem that they have messed up. Apparently their testing and QA department didn't catch all of the bugs in the game before release. Let me list them for you: Serious frame rate issues Audio glitches Freezing At least those are the ones reported thus far. Sam Houser had this to say about the whole things to boot. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of March 2008 - 07:31 PM ]
Circuit City Has A PS3 Return Policy For HD-DVD Players Ok, now this one isn't the online scams and such that you get spammed with every time you log online or do a search for the PS3. Circuit City has announced that they will take back any HD-DVD players and exchange them for a nice shiny new Blu-Ray player. The customer still has to pay the difference, but you can also take back a player you bought no more than a couple months ago. You know, before Toshiba dropped there bomb of backing out of the HD format race. Read More...

Double Axe For Wii
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of March 2008 - 06:17 PM ]
Guitar Hero III Gets New Pack So you might have heard or been mixed up in the fiasco of the Mono-sound issue with the Wii version of the game. If you signed up for the replacement disc, I'm sorry for you since that doesn't seem to be going to well, at least from what has been reported to me. I hear it is a long turn around time to get your disk shipped back to you. So you might want to pick up another game in the mean time to fill the void of the wait. No More Heroes is a good choice, but I digest. Read More...

Opening Acts For Aerosmith
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of March 2008 - 05:58 AM ]
Aerosmith's Version of Guitar Hero Ok, so this might fix the new Guitar Hero game due out in June. When they announced the next iteration of the franchise was going to be an Aerosmith version, I know I groaned at it. Not saying I hate the band, but what is fun about playing only one band's songs. But digging a bit further, they will have "Opening Acts" and "Special Guests" in the game. These will be bands that Aerosmith chose to be in the game along side them. Could make sure the game doesn't flop out. Read More...
