Xbox Live users who are fans of both Guitar Hero and Metallica can go on the Xbox Live marketplace and download the newly uploaded demo for the upcoming Guitar Hero Metallica. The demo features four playable songs, two of which are Metallicas, the other two are by Alice and Chains and Queen. The track list goes as:No Excuses - Alice in ChainsSad But True - MetallicaSeek and Destroy - MetallicaStone Cold Crazy - QueenThe demo also features the ability to create your own rockstar character like in Guitar Hero World Tour, but seeing as it's the demo it's kind of pointless to have.If you're thinking about buying this game and are wondering what kind of songs to expect, below is the full track list of every song in the game. The game, which was awesome to begin with, was made even better by the release of a free map pack. Now, even with the financial problems Midway is suffering from, another free downloadable pack is coming to the PC and PS3 versions of the game. The really exciting thing is just in the huge amount of content that’s available. Firstly there are 11 new maps spread out across Warfare, Deathmatch, CTF (Capture the Flag), and Vehicle CTF to compete on. Read More...

More Game Footage Showing Of Characters In Guitar Hero: Metallica So as it is no big surprise that this game is rolling out here in the U.S. at the end of the year, it should also be no big surprise that the marketing campaign will be starting soon, if not already, to start weaseling you out of your hard earned cash for this game. As we start to enter March, Square Enix continues to tease us with more in game screen shots from the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII. Below are just a couple pictures found on the Famitsu website and under each picture was a description that I just went ahead and translated them to understand what is being said about each picture."[kokun] is ruled to be restrained by the troop of the “saintly prefecture”, the people whom it has been about to be banished to pulse. That they probably will be rescued, those where you stand up, are the young people who are called Nora. Read More...

Get Yo' Killzone 2 On
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2009 - 05:00 PM ]
This Week in Killzone 2 (and more demo codes) There have been many ways for people to gain access to the Killzone 2 demo before the game actually comes out in about 10 days, from now. Most recently one could have hunted down one of the only Helghast avatars in PlayStation Home and request one from them. Apparently something that was difficult for a bunch of people on the PlayStation Blog. But outside of that or pre-ordering the game, like one should, Sony is hooking everyone up again with a chance. FEAR 2 Review
by Ben Brody [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2009 - 02:28 AM ]
What's scarier than a little 7 year old girl just absolutely tearing people apart? Nothing, that's what. FEAR 2, the true sequel to FEAR, comes to us from Monolith and is hands down one of the scariest games ever. Dead Space, Silent Hill, and Condemned are given a run for their money with Alma, the girl previously mentioned. The game starts out about 30 minutes prior to the ending of the first game and puts you in the shoes of Sgt. Michael Becket, a Delta Force member who was mentioned in the first game as apart of a team assigned to bring Genevieve Aristide and put her into protective custody, which is the first mission of the game.
