by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
PlayStation The list of video games on hand at this year's PlayStation Experience have been unveiled with a few more saved for when the PlayStation Experience is in full swing There are only a few more weeks until the PlayStation Experience kicks off this year in San Francisco and some are still out on if they should make the trip to see what Sony and PlayStation have to offer us all. There of course will be developer panels and the standard keynote for all to look forward to, but what will be on the floor for us all to play and "experience?" That is what the PlayStation Experience is all about and with December 5th and 6th quickly coming up; gamers need to make their plans. Read More...

Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games So much news in the world of video games here and so much more to come. I think we'll have a lot more as Blizzcon rolls out and we lead into the heavier part of the release season but it is a fickle industry. Especially when there are such great hidden gems like the Black Ops 3 Nightmare mode that was hidden from us all. That and the new Friday The 13th visuals that have just made their way into the world of video games here. Read More...

Review — Guitar Hero Live
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Guitar Hero Live We Sit Down And Review Guitar Hero Live. Things Have Been Changed Up Quite A Bit This Time Around To Make The Franchise Feel New; But Does It Pay Off? Here's Our Review Of Guitar Hero Live Looks like the rhythm game is trying to make a comeback and now we have the other main competitor in the way of Guitar Hero Live. This franchise is one of the ones that made the whole genre as popular as it has become over the years, even with its short hiatus, and FreeStyleGames is bringing it back to try and bring new life into the franchise. Not only is it a new game with, technically, new songs but Guitar Hero Live adds in a few new features and mechanics to said genre but do they help or hinder in the long run? Read More...

Tales From The Borderlands We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — The Vault Of The Traveler. This Is The Fifth And Final Episode Of Telltale's Take On Gearbox's Famed Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They Did All great things must end sometime and sadly here we have the final episode of Tales From The Borderlands' first season. There have been a lot of ups and not so many downs for this take on Gearbox Software's franchise and it has been one of my favorites from Telltale Games to date. But does it hold up and make us want a Tales From The Borderlands season two? Read More...

Hitman Gives Us A Not-So-Warm Welcome To Sapienza In A New Trailer
by Julia Schoebel [ Wednesday, 28th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Hitman A new Hitman from Paris Games Week has been released and it shows off another nice, lush map we will be killing in when Hitman finally launches It's been a bit since we saw some new gameplay footage for Hitman and it looks like that is because it was being saved for Paris Games Week. Not exactly sure why Io Interactive would have waited until now but I won't complain as it gives us another nice view of Hitman and the game's levels before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 11th of 2016. It seems so far away still but that date will creep up faster than Agent 47 on his next kill. Hitman is not as far out even with the date change is all I am getting at here. Read More...

Have A Good Look At The Advancements Of The Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of October 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders 2 The release trailer for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition has been released and now we can see all those upgraded Darksiders 2 visuals in action Next week is the big week as the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition is going to be released and I couldn't be more excited for this. Up until now we have yet to see any solid gameplay with the updates that Gunfire Games has been able to make to Darksiders 2 so far but now we have a nice long trailer showing off all of those said updates and to get us even more hyped for it to hit the PS4 and Xbox One on October 27th. Such an amazing franchise and I hope the first Darksiders gets the same treatment and we get the ever-sought-after Darksiders 3. Anyways, up until now we have mainly had only screenshots to see for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition so this is a nice little treat here. Read More...

Get Ready For The Season Finale For Tales From The Borderlands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Tales From The Borderlands The season finale trailer for Tales From The Borderlands has been released with all of the accolades and sneak peeks at Tales From The Borderlands' last episode in the season As with all good things like Tales From The Borderlands' first season, they have to come to an end at some point. It's even more depressing when it has to happen when Telltale Games dis such an amazing job of bringing Gearbox Software's franchise to perfect life in their storytelling medium with Tales From The Borderlands. It is one that I wish could keep living on without a break but it looks like the last episode will be hitting all of the platforms it is on next week. Read More...

Allison Road's Kickstarter Has Been Canceled But It's A Good Thing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of October 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
Allison Road It was announced today that the Kickstarter for Allison Road has been canceled but it is due to the fact that Allison Road will now have a publisher behind it It is usually never a good thing when we are talking cancelation in the video game industry but in the case of Allison Road it looks to be a good thing. The game hasn't been canceled and Lilith Ltd is still working on it but the Kickstarter campaign for Allison Road has been shut down. Not because of anything like Konami getting upset or Hideo Kojima thinking that the game was too much like the one he was working on so long ago. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of October 2015 - 11:02 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There goes another week in video games in the bag. Or case if you will. Things were all over the place this week and there were so many 'leaks' out there in the world of video games. I'm looking in the direction of Street Fighter V here and a bit at Star Wars Battlefront. Although the beta is out for the latter here so it's not really leaked any more. The first still very much so. Read More...

12 More Classic Songs Join The Guitar Hero Live Track List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of October 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Guitar Hero Live Twelve more tracks have been added to Guitar Hero Live and while not all classics songs they are coming to Guitar Hero Live from past titles in the franchise Time to make the track list for Guitar Hero Live a not so round number of 121 now as we have twelve more tracks to add to the list today. Quite a hefty starting catalog for FreeStyleGames to get in there and I'll take it. Especially since these new Guitar Hero Live tracks have all been pulled from previous Guitar Hero titles that Activision still has the rights to. Read More...

The final episode for Tales From The Borderlands will be hitting us on October 20th and we will be lost for a while as we wait for the second season, hopefully, to be announced and on its way. Darksiders 2 The debate on the HD remaster of Darksiders 2's release date has been settled as we now have a solid date for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition and screenshots Looks like the early announcements for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition's release date have been quelled as it will be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on October 27th. Like I said before it looks like Gunfire Games and Nordic Games wanted to get this amazing title back out in time for Halloween and the end of October.
