Most of us had a feeling it was going to come this year to capitalize on the Fast & Furious steam that was going on, and now we know for certain. It is not too far out now and that also means that we have a bit of the new gameplay to enjoy in the mix to further excitement for the title. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of May 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat The klassic Mortal Kombat finishers are coming back for Mortal Kombat 11 and here is a montage of some of them We had news that Mortal Kombat 11 was going to get an update to add in a bunch of things that have been missing over the last few years. Most of which have been thing that have been left on the cutting room floor by NetherRealm Studios to keep the game a little more gritty instead of fun and silly. Sure, there is room in the Mortal Kombat for some of the funnier stuff but the recent titles have been focusing on the other stuff. Now on May 26th we are going to see many of those stages, stage fatalities, and Friendships back on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Read More...

Rally Your Squad For To Reclaim Earth In The Second Extinction
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of May 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Second Extinction Another Co-Op title is announced, Second Extinction, that will have us go out and kill the dinosaurs out there and give them all a Second Extinction We have had a huge influx of zombies, Nazis, Nazi zombies, and killer robots in our video games as of late and now we have the announcement that we are going back to some other classic creatures to kill with Second Extinction. Those creatures being mutant dinosaurs that have taken over the planet in Systemic Reaction's upcoming title under the new Avalanche Studio Group. I am not certain that Second Extinction is the same title that was teased back when the merger was announced for all of the studios, but that does not really matter. Read More...

Forge A New History With Mortal Kombat 11: Afterlife
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of May 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat The story of Mortal Kombat 11 is continuing with the Mortal Kombat 11: Afterlife expansion bringing back a whole lot of friendly things The story for Mortal Kombat 11 is not over it would seem, as we have a new expansion coming for the game to continue the story on a bit more. How much more, that is not fully explained by NetherRealm Studios here but given that we are looking at a $39.99 USD price tag it should be beefy. That would be the hope at least. Read More...

Daymare: 1998 Is Here To Frighten All Of Those Console Gamers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of April 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Daymare The console release for Daymare: 1998 is here for those waiting to give Daymare a go on the PS4 or Xbox One The time is finally here and those that have been waiting to play Daymare: 1998 on the PS4 or Xbox One will be able to do so now. As in, right now as it looks like Invader Studios' title is out there for you to pick up on the platforms. Good news for those out there that wanted to get in on the 90s feel that Daymare is bringing but lacked a solid PC to play the game on. It was not a beast of a title that required a whole lot of power but even today there are many that do not have a system that can properly give off the gaming experience the same way. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of April 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Minimal Affect A new RPG, Minimal Affect, is announced and it looks like Minimal Affect will take a parody look at many of those big Sci-Fi RPGs In these times we can all use a bit of humor and it looks like we might just be getting that with the announcement of Minimal Affect for the PC and major consoles. Even if it is something we will have to wait until 2021 to actually get to see, that has not stopped Toadman Studios from giving us a small look at what is to come. Something, that if you have looked hard at things before now, poke a lot of fun at those massive Sci-Fi RPGs out there that may or may not rhyme with Minimal Affect in some way. Read More...

It Is Time To Make Things Right In Endzone: A World Apart
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of April 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Endzone The release for Endzone: A World Apart is here and we all can have a chance to try to survive the world of Endzone a bit early As we are not all trying to survive some madness right now, we can add in another way to do it in a virtual setting with Endzone: A World Apart. A title we all knew was coming from Gentlymad Studios with a few fun little videos to get us ready. Now, in an Early Access at least, we are able to give Endzone: A World Apart a go on our PCs to see if we can fare any better than we are now. Granted, the world in the game went through a vastly different end of times scenario but it is still something that we will need to try to survive here. Read More...

Comic Review — Injustice: Gods Among Us
by Julia Schoebel [ Tuesday, 31st of March 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Injustice Needing to give yourself a break from Netflix and Games for a minute? Try reading the Injustice: Gods Among Us comics The Injustice series was written by Tom Taylor and Brian Buccellato, and illustrated by a number of artists, including Jheremy Raapack, Mike S. Miller, Bruno Redondo, and Tom Derenick just to name a few. Though, most comics based on video games tend to be shameless sell-outs for cash, Injustice: Gods Among Us is well written and illustrated. It has defiantly been binge-worthy, there are plenty of issues to read as well. Read More...

That is what a Gamedec does in the game and we are just the next one to take on the mantle. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of March 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Rogue Company The first gameplay for Rogue Company is here to see how this team-based shooter is looking and how Rogue Company could handle as development ventures forward into the world The headline more or less says it all, as we have the first gameplay to look at for the team-based shooter Rogue Company. That is not to say that there is not more to it all here, but that is the bigger news coming out of First Watch Games here. I mean, it is kind of a bigger deal so we can all see if Rogue Company is going to warrant our time on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, or PC when it does launch. Read More...
