Looks like Naughty Dog is serious about bringing some eye-opening DLC to their blockbuster title, Uncharted 2. On the 28th of this month there is going to be an overflow of new skins to adorn your multiplayer experience. It had been months since I last turned my Wii on, but that all changed with a single release for the system. Muramasa: The Demon Blade has arrived from Ignition Entertainment and I couldn’t have a better reason to utilize my Wii. I finally got my hands on Muramasa: The Demon Blade for the Nintendo Wii. It was developed by Vanilla Ware, the studio that did Odin Sphere on the PS2, and localized by Ignition Software. The game is beautifully animated and the amount of detail really shines, which showcases the amount of work that went into it. Presented in a 2D side scrolling format, the backgrounds and characters pop out at you. You have two playable characters, Kisuke (male) and Momohime (female), with whom you control using the Wiimote and Nunchuk. Read More...

Today it was announced that 38 Studios acquired Big Huge Games.  38 Studios is the studio that was started by now-retired professional baseball player Curt Schilling who is also an admitted World of Warcraft addict.  Founding 38 Studios to create an “Online Entertainment Experience,” Schilling and his team have been working on this new fantasy MMOG, currently entitled Copernicus, since 2006. I know at this point you’re rolling your eyes at another fantasy MMORPG, and frankly, I don’t blame you.  Instead let’s look at how Schilling, a World Series Champion and fairly well-known and popular person in the US, bought into the industry to bring a quality product for the masses to enjoy. Anyone who enjoys a good horror game should be familiar with Silent Hill. Silent Hill was first a hit for the original Playstation, then recently making it debut on the Xbox 360 with Silent Hill 5. In the latest issue of Nintendo Power, they confirm that Silent Hill is now coming to the Wii.The game is titled Silent Hill: Shattered Dreams. Konami states that this isn't a remake or a port of the first one, but a "reimagining" of the game. Well it seems Utah is not as conservative after all. Utah Governor Jon Huntsman (r) has vetoes video games and movie retail restriction bill.
