Call Of Duty: Ghosts Officially Revealed

Activision has confirmed that the rumored Call Of Duty: Ghosts will in fact be the next installment in the long running FPS franchise. Not many details on the game were revealed by Activision aside from a teaser trailer and a promise for a bigger reveal during the Xbox: The Next Generation Revealed Event on May 21st. Activision also announced that the game will be released on November 5th for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS4 and the new Xbox. As for plot details none were revealed but the box art hints at a prequel to the Modern Warfare games. Read More...

How Do The PSP God Of War Titles Compare To PS3?

When I heard that Sony was going to bundle the two PSP God Of War titles, Chains Of Olympus and Ghost Of Sparta, for the PS3 I was a little upset. I already dropped the cash on these games for the PSP and the PS3 was already out. I thought then, why did they not just make these games on the PS3 and just make them downloadable or cheap disks? After seeing the below comparison, I am even more infuriated that I had to wait to get them in high definition and on my big screen at home. Ghostbusters Heading Into A Sanctum Of Slime

With Ghostbusters: The Videogame selling over a million copies, it looks like Atari decided to milk our childhoods for more money by having Wanako Studios, a studio owned by the makers of Naughty Bear, slop together another game in the franchise. From these preliminary views, Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is going to play just like Alien Breed or Dead Nation with a coat of Ghostbusters paint on it. Kratos is back yet again to take on the gods for the torment they have put him through. Well kind of. Kratos is back to show the world why he was so pissed at the beginning of God of War 2 - not to mention that finally one of the original storylines for the franchise is brought into the mix. God Of War Screens Not As Epic As The Trailer

The title really says it all here. Below you will find a new set of screen shots from God Of War: Ghost Of Sparta. Some will look similar to things we have seen and already played in the demo. Some are a bit new. But in the end, they really don't do anything to excite like the most recent Back-story Trailer from last week. This makes me kind of sad. Kratos' Brother Issues Finally Make The Final Cut

Unless you are a hardcore fan of God Of War, and I mean HARDCORE fan, you may not know that the original story was going to have Kratos fighting his brother who was discarded due to Spartan law. Something that you only got to know by watching the extra videos after beating the original PS2 game or the re-mastered version in God of War: Collection. Since it was announced through a need to Platinum God Of War III, God of War: Ghost of Sparta has been a title on my radar with a HUGE blip. It is God of War game, after all, but it is also a God of War on the PSP again. Not that the first wasn't great, but will a PSP follow up to the superstar God of War III be as good? Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier In Real Life

Looks like Ubisoft might be gearing up to go into feature films, or at least shorts sometime soon. First they do a live action short based on all the beginning story to Assassin's Creed II. Something that was produced very well and added quite a bit of extra content to the overall experience of the game. At least it did for me. But the Assassin's Creed short looks like it was just the tip of the iceberg for Ubisoft's short films. Read More...

Tom Clancy & Friends On Demand

It looks like the two games next up for the Games on Demand treatment are, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 and Kane&Lynch: Dead Men. I find it funny that with both game descriptions they more or less end with "no refunds are available for this item." It adds a deeper level to the game description for some reason. Ghostbusters LPB Costumes Last week one of the fun little things announced for LittleBigPlanet was the addition of a cool little Ghostbusters costume for the game. Well a few of them, but we only got a glimpse of one. You know, the ghost logo guy. look it up on your own time if you don't remember. Well this morning, from the official PlayStation blog, a screen of all four of the costumes you will be able to get this Thursday was just placed for our viewing pleasure. That and a few user created tributes to the film using existing stickers and creation tool stuff and the music video for Ghostbusters. A nice little fun tribute from them for the film too. LBP Ghostbusters So we all knew it was inevitable. With the new BluRay and video game out for the Ghostbusters franchise. Now they are invading the LittleBigPlanet world. Well at least we can assume that with the below image from the PlayStation Blog. No official word has been given about it yet, the blog post is just the image and the phrase "Who Ya Gunna Call?" on it.
