by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Our first look at Wolfenstein: The Old Blood's gameplay has been released online just a day before we are all going to be able to experience the Nazi Zombie fun We are one day out from Wolfenstein: The Old Blood hitting our PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC. Machine Games has a lot to hold up to for the standalone addition to the Wolfenstein franchise. This of course is the big prequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order that takes place about 20 years before said title. Until now we've had a few descriptions of what was going to be new in Wolfenstein: The Old Blood but have yet to see anything. Read More...

Here's Why Batman: Arkham Knight's Season Pass Is So Expensive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Some details about the season pass for Batman: Arkham Knight have been released by Warner Bros. and Rocksteady to better explain the price Last week Rocksteady and Warner Bros. caught a bit of flack over the cost of the recently announced Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass. This would be the $40 add on pack that even I gave them quite a bit of guff over as that is close to the cost of another game just for six month's worth of DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight. Well it looks like the developer and publisher wanted to quell all of our concerns and outrage and give us just a taste of what is to come for the Season Pass that is the most expensive that I can note to date. That is at least covering most titles on PC, Xbox One and PS4 that I cared to take the time to look into. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of May 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Time for more witting, or not-so-witting, banter to wrap up another week of news for video games here. We had a cancellation, a delay, and more sad news in general but at least we were able to see Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Batman: Arkham Knight received a bit more. Not only that but we have more rumors showing us that Watch Dogs 2 could be along the way here soon and then we had a look at a great looking horror title in Night Terrors. Most would say that is a big old game of "nope" but I say bring it on. Read More...

Batman: Arkham Knight's Season Pass To Bring More Villains
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of April 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
A season pass for Batman: Arkham Knight DLC has been announced and details talk about bringing more super-villains into the game over time Hot off the announcement of the Dual Play feature in Batman: Arkham Knight comes an announcement for a DLC season pass for the game. Not too big of a surprise for Warner Bros. and Rocksteady to include this into the mix of Arkham Knight additions as DLC seems to keep the money flowing after the main title is released. Weirdly though, this season pass structure sound like it defines out that there will be a six month period of DLC coming to the game on a regular basis. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of April 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week down and another week closer to having all of those video games that we keep talking about here. Or the DLC of said video games. You get the deal here. We had yet another productive week in video games and all of the news and updates we could have wanted. Granted we have the big Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 reveal coming over the weekend even though all of the 'leaks' and teases may have spoiled a bit of it all. We can ignore all of that and look towards Mad Max and whatever Marvel and Telltale have chambered for us in 2017. Read More...

Telltale Games Will Be Bringing Us A Game Based On A Marvel IP
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Telltale Games has announced that they will be teaming up with Marvel for a game series in 2017 Time for the internet to explode as Telltale Games is teaming up with Marvel to bring us all a game series based on something based in their universe. That being Marvel's universe and not Telltale's The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones, or Minecraft universes that they are currently working on. There is now clue yet as to what could be in the works between the two but given the history of Marvel and Telltale we can hopefully expect greatness. We may also be able to expect something along the lines of the TV/Game hybrid that Lionsgate has signed a deal for with the developer. Read More...

Can Your PC Run Batman: Arkham Knight?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of April 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
The PC specs for Batman: Arkham Knight have been released so you can get your rig ready to play the game at launch As of today we are only two months out from Batman: Arkham Knight hitting our homes. That date being June 23rd. Those who will be diving into Rocksteady's final chapter of the Arkham on the PS4 or Xbox One know how great the game is going to look. As for those PC gamers out there you may not be sure how Batman: Arkham Knight may look and run given how the hardware varies between person to person. That has always been one of the issues I find with PC gaming but luckily you can prep for the launch of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC by looking at the specifications that are recommended to run the game and get the best quality. Want More Info On Guitar Hero Live? Of Course You Do
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of April 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
Activision and FreeStyleGames have released the entire Guitar Hero Live press announcement for all of our viewing pleasure Did you feel like there should have been more to the Guitar Hero Live announcement earlier this week? I know I should felt like there should have been a bit more. Especially since some of the other "buy-able" outlets were already talking about their impressions on having played with the new guitar controller for the game. Well as many of these big publishers do, Activision held a rather sizable event to show off Guitar Hero Live to the press before the official announcement to get them all prepped. Now, that presentation is out and available for us all to view and pretend to be a member of the press pretending to be rock stars with Guitar Hero Live. Read More...

Everyone Will Now Achieve Ascendance In Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The second DLC pack for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be hitting PS3, PS4, and PC at the end of April If all of you non-Xbox Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare players out there were feeling a little left out with the second DLC pack that is part of your Season Pass, now is the time to know you won't have to wait much longer for the pack to hit the PS3, PS4, and PC versions of the game. You will know now but still will have to wait until April 30th as that is when the pack will be available for you to download and enjoy in all of the new features, maps, and Exo Zombie fun that the Xbox 360 and Xbox One players have had for a month already. I guess it is nice that the multiplayer servers don't go cross platform as that would be one hell of an advantage that they would have from day one. Read More...

A Few More Reasons To Look Forward To Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of April 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Over on their blog, Bethesda has given us all a few more reasons to look forward to Machine Games' Wolfenstein: The Old Blood prequel DLC If Wolfenstein: The New Order wasn't enough to get you excited for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood then it looks like Bethesda and Machine Games have a bit more to make that May 5th release date seem so very far away now. Yes it is a bit of the usual screenshot fare but also, as they mentioned on their blog, there are even more things outside of that. Now the launch for it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC seem even further away than before with just that one sentence. Read More...
