The Executioner Is Here To Kill Your Demons In The Evil Within
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of May 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for The Executioner DLC for The Evil Within has been released and we are getting a first person mode All things must come to an end and in this case it is the expanding world of The Evil Within. At least as this part of the franchise goes. The last bit of DLC, The Executioner, is coming on May 26th from Bethesda and Tango Gameworks and will let you play as none other than The Keeper. This would be the creature better known as Boxman by the internet and fans of The Evil Within. I guess that is one way to go out with a bang here but let's hope it is enough to drive the publishers to want The Evil Within 2 or some other spin off to make a true franchise. Read More...

New screenshots for Game Of Thrones fourth episode have surfaced thus hearkening a release date coming soon for the episodic fun It's been about two months now so it is high time we had an update for the next episode of Game Of Thrones from Telltale. Like it has almost been literally two months since The Sword In The Darkness released and the TV show is half done with the season by the time of this being written. The synergy just isn't melding if that is what HBO and Telltale were going for with the episodic adventure of Game Of Thrones here. Thankfully though we may not have to wait much longer for the next episode to hit as we have a whole bunch of new screenshots for the next episode of Game Of Thrones titled Sons Of Winter. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Oh and that new Assassin's Creed game for the year: Syndicate. That's also if we want to ignore all the new stuff for The Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight too. Read More...

Rocksteady has shown it in trailers and glossed over it a bit in the recent past so we should all know we can swap between Batman, Nightwing, Robin, and Catwoman when we are playing. Until today there has been little known about how it will work in game but we have just known it is an option in Batman: Arkham Knight. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Two very short clips of what is thought to be Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition have cropped up online and point to an Xbox One release for the titles The rumor of a Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition coming to the Xbox One anytime soon may have just received a huge update and confirmation. If things are to be believed it looks like a new bit of gameplay has found its way onto an Xbox video recording service that points to the remastered version of the franchise. Of course the original footage has been removed from the site but the internet is a wonderful thing and nothing stays hidden for long. That being said, we have that lost Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition footage just a bit lower down just for you. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of May 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Someone crank up the Queen as another week in video game news as bit the dust. Wow that was kind of a lame way to start out with but at least we have a whole lot of awesome video game new and updates for you to make up for it. Granted it is very Batman: Arkham Knight and The Wither 3 heavy when it is all boiled down but at least we had a nice look at the new controllers for Rock Band 4. Not to mention all of the excitement of Nintendo setting up some great themed areas at Universal Parks across the globe. Read More...

Rocksteady Takes Us Inside Batman: Arkham Knight's Latest Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Rocksteady takes inside the Batman: Arkham Knight All Who Follow You trailer to explain all of the features teased in the original trailer If you felt like the latest trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight left more questions than cool answers and spoilers for the game you are not alone. Rocksteady showed off the Dual Play mode a little bit in the game but there was little explanation as to how it will truly work in the game and the free-flow combat that will ensue. That is also not to point out that there was speculation on the Joker being back alive in Batman: Arkham Knight because of the green robots. All of which is now put to rest with Rocksteady's first Batman: Arkham Insider video. Read More...

Hear How Batman: Arkham Knight Will Drive More Fear With Scarecrow
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new behind the scenes video for Batman: Arkham Knight has been released to show off a few of the voice actors that will be bringing the characters to life in the game It is no big shocker that some of our favorite voices will be gracing Batman: Arkham Knight. Rocksteady has created a franchise with some great new interpretations of the characters so it would make sense that they stay the same across the board or at least have stellar voice actors to help bring them to life. A task that so far has been heard pretty well in the Batman: Arkham Knight videos and trailers. Just to emphasize it more though we have another great behind the scenes video showing off how the voice actors truly are bringing those characters to life again on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Our first look at Wolfenstein: The Old Blood's gameplay has been released online just a day before we are all going to be able to experience the Nazi Zombie fun We are one day out from Wolfenstein: The Old Blood hitting our PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC. Machine Games has a lot to hold up to for the standalone addition to the Wolfenstein franchise. Until now we've had a few descriptions of what was going to be new in Wolfenstein: The Old Blood but have yet to see anything. Read More...

Here's Why Batman: Arkham Knight's Season Pass Is So Expensive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Some details about the season pass for Batman: Arkham Knight have been released by Warner Bros. and Rocksteady to better explain the price Last week Rocksteady and Warner Bros. caught a bit of flack over the cost of the recently announced Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass. This would be the $40 add on pack that even I gave them quite a bit of guff over as that is close to the cost of another game just for six month's worth of DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight. Well it looks like the developer and publisher wanted to quell all of our concerns and outrage and give us just a taste of what is to come for the Season Pass that is the most expensive that I can note to date. That is at least covering most titles on PC, Xbox One and PS4 that I cared to take the time to look into. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/27/15 — 5/1/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of May 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Time for more witting, or not-so-witting, banter to wrap up another week of news for video games here. We had a cancellation, a delay, and more sad news in general but at least we were able to see Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Batman: Arkham Knight received a bit more. Not only that but we have more rumors showing us that Watch Dogs 2 could be along the way here soon and then we had a look at a great looking horror title in Night Terrors. Most would say that is a big old game of "nope" but I say bring it on. Read More...

Night Terrors Could Become Your Reality… In Your Own Home
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new Augmented Reality Game, Night Terrors, is trying to raise funds to try and bring real but fake terror into our homes Earlier this week we had the devastation that Silent Hills was canceled so let's get back on a horror highlight with Night Terrors. This would be an augmented reality game that is looking to hit the levels of terror that the prior title mentioned was claiming as well. The big kicker here is that Night Terrors won't be using virtual world interactions to bring the terror. Instead it is slated to get you up and moving about your own home where the ghosts and demons are actually lurking. Read More...
