The Walking Dead Season 3 Is Coming & Bringing A Familiar Face
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of June 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The first teaser trailer for The Walking Dead's third season has been revealed and it looks like The Walking Dead is jumping forward in time but keeping fan favorites If you were able to pay full attention to everything out of E3 then this may be old news to you but for those who were overloaded with news, then you may have missed that The Walking Dead season three is slated to start up sometime this Fall. Not only that but we have a nice little trailer out of Telltale Games and a few little tidbits on the game directly. Given the success of The Walking Dead in general it shouldn't have been that big of a shocker to see the third season coming but in this season it looks like the surprises are more in the game than that it is coming. This Week In Video Games 6/13/16 — 6/17/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of June 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Holy hells this was one intense week in video games now wasn't it? Of course with E3 taking place we had a lot to look out for and man did we get a whole lot of new information and new titles coming our way. I knew we would get to see something from God Of War but didn't expect to have seen Resident Evil 7 in the mix. I thought the most of the horror I was going to see was going to be from Friday The 13th: The Game. Read More...

E3 2016 Impressions — Mafia 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Mafia 3 While at E3 I was able to see Mafia 3 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Mafia 3 Here we go with one of the larger titles that 2K Games was pimping out at E3 and now we have a solid look at Mafia 3 in terms of world and gameplay. Gameplay that was shown off by none other than the devs over at Hangar 13 in the mix of a time jump back to the era that the game takes place in. Of course there is a whole lot more to go into for Mafia 3, as with all of the other games out there, but this is the best look we have until October 7th when it finally lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Something that I know we are all looking forward to in one way or another. Read More...

E3 Hands On — Horizon Zero Dawn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Horizon While at E3 I was able to see Horizon Zero Dawn in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Horizon Zero Dawn. A good portion of what Sony has on the floor here at E3 happens to be just what we saw during the press conference and the same pretty much goes for Horizon Zero Dawn. We have another live demo put on from Guerrilla Games just for us but the only difference is that afterward we we allowed to actually put hands on with the game still waiting to launch on February 28th of 2017 on on the PS4. Of course it wasn’t of any new portion of Horizon Zero Dawn we have yet to see but that doesn’t change the fact that we got to actually play the game. Read More...

E3 Hands On — Gwent: The Witcher Card Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of June 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Gwent While at E3 I was able to see Gwent: The Witcher Card Game in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. We all demanded it and not we are getting Gwent: The Witcher Card Game as a standalone title to play and experience outside of the core game that spawned it. Of course CD Projekt RED could have taken the easy way out and just ported the basic game over to appease the fans but instead they went all out and brought a fully redesigned version of the game for us. The core mechanics are still there but this version of Gwent has a lot more to offer than just fun times and collecting cards. Read More...

E3 2016 Impressions — Batman: The Telltale Series
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Batman While at E3 I was able to see Batman: The Telltale Series in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Batman: The Telltale Series. A few reveals for Batman have already popped up here at E3 this year but of course that isn’t where the reveals were going to end. In fact in the middle of Wayne Manor here on the floor Telltale Games had a secret access to the Bat Cave and allowed some of us to see the first 30 minutes of the first episode of their take on the Batman franchise. That sounds like quite a bit to take in but thankfully it was just enough to keep the hype ball rolling as we wait for the episode to finally land sometime this Summer for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Here’s what is new to the whole gameplay set up that we already know and love from the developer. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of June 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
E3 2016 Can't Be At E3 2016 Or The PC Gaming Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Straight From E3 2016 Not everything is going to be on the show floor of E3 2016 and because of that we have these huge press conferences and here we go with PC Gaming's huge event just before the doors open for us all. Just as the games and announcements they have for E3 2016 not all of us will be able to be there on the show floor to see them as well. Thankfully we live in the age of live streaming and we can watch the press conference through multiple online avenues. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/6/16 — 6/10/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of June 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This was a rough week, personally, but at least we had a whole lot of video games to keep everything flowing. We had a few confirmations like Watch Dogs 2 and Injustice 2 coming for E3 next week and we also had some great updates to other titles like XCOM 2 and Call Of Cthulu. This is also just the tip of the ice berg that will be the reveals and updates for video games though as we will be flushed with many more here in short order. E3 starts this weekend and this is when everything comes to light and into our eyes. Read More...

The Wastes Of Mars In The Technomancer Are Downright Rough
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
The Technomancer The E3 trailer for The Technomancer has been released and this time we get a view of The Technomancer's Mars and the life that it has taken on Joining into the mix of titles getting a specific E3 trailer here is The Technomancer. Another title that should have been a given since Spiders is pumping it out here on June 28th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC so you'd think they would want to get it right out there. Not that we haven't seen a whole lot on The Technomancer up to now but now we have another fun trailer to show off just what the game's version of Mars has become. That would be the setting for the game for all of those who happen to only be hearing about the game right now. Read More...

Paragon Gets Its Essentials Edition Out There & Ready For The Fight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of June 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Paragon The new physical edition of Paragon has been released and will let players hop into the Paragon fun with a whole slew of extras in tow If you are still not into the digital age but wanted to get your hands on Paragon during all of the Beta hullabaloo then you need to know that now you can. Right now you can head on out to your favorite retailer and pick up the new Essentials Edition of the game that Epic Games has put together for you and it will give you solid access into the current running beta and a whole slew of other things. Seems odd to have to physically purchase Paragon given how everything is digital now but I guess some of you PC and PS4 players out there are still on the hold-out bench and need to have a plethora of options still. XCOM 2 Is Now Expanding Into The Console Territory
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
XCOM 2 With the success of XCOM 2 on the PC platforms it looks like fans have finally been able to get XCOM 2 headed to the consoles this September We all wanted and demanded it and now it looks like Firaxis Games has given in and now we have XCOM 2 on its way to the major consoles as well. Of course they are not doing the work directly as 2K Games has brought on The Workshop to help usher the game over to the new platform but given their history that isn't a bad thing. Especially since now we can all keep an eye out to see XCOM 2 hit the PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th of this year. If you don't live in the North American region that date would be September 9th. Horizon Zero Dawn Has Been Delayed But There's A New Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of June 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn The release date for Horizon Zero Dawn has been reset and we also have a new trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn's protagonist Aloy The wait for Horizon Zero Dawn just became a bit longer as it looks like the game has been pushed back to February 28th of 2017. The PS4 title made a huge splash at last year's E3 and it looks like Guerrilla Games is going to do it again to make sure we don't lose faith in the title. We're just going to have to wait longer for Horizon Zero Dawn and that should be fine for all of us. It's not like we don't have a slew of other titles out there to hold us over until its new release date and such. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/30/16 — 6/3/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of June 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games One more week of video games in the bag and it's time to look onward and upward. It was a shorter week in gaming for certain but that doesn't mean it was left barren like next week most likely will be as we prep for E3. Hopefully we'll hear and see more on Final Fantasy XV before the next big update at the show. Or a bit more on Agony and Hellblade. Read More...

There's An Update On The Release Date For No Man's Sky
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of June 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
No Man's Sky No Man's Sky has been truly delayed and it looks like it is not to make No Man's Sky sync up as a world wide release Well I hope you weren't completely set on the day that you were going to get to play No Man's Sky on your PS4. Even though Hello Games has been working their asses off to make sure the game comes out at their set date it looks like the game has been met with a delay. Not some minor week or two delay we are talking a massive delay in terms of video games as No Man's Sky has been delayed a few months now. Get ready for all those tears that I personally won't understand. Read More...

Minecraft: Story Mode 6th Episode Dated & A Murder Mystery
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of June 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Minecraft The release date for Minecraft: Story Mode sixth episode has been set and it seems like the Minecraft community is being drug into the game's murder mystery The first of the three add-on episodes for Minecraft: Story Mode has now been dated and it looks like June 7th is going to be the date that we all get to continue the story. I am still not completely sure why Telltale Games broke up the story and continuations as they did but it has been done and the spiritual second season, in my opinion, has begun. Get ready to dive deeper into Mojang's world as Minecraft: Story Mode episode six hits the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and mobile platforms. Read More...
