The Evil Within 2 Looks To Ramping Up Some Of The Action Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Evil Within Another trailer for The Evil Within 2 is here and it shows a bit more of the action we can expect mixed into The Evil Within 2 when it launches If you like to have a lot of action in your horror games, then get ready to add The Evil Within 2 into the mix as the latest trailer definitely shows that there will be plenty of that mixed into the final game. Not that Tango Gameworks is going out of their way to make this game in that vein, but it certainly looks like there will be more of it in this title when compared to the prior one. So far, The Evil Within IP has been more of the true horror side of the spectrum, but maybe this was a call from on high over at Bethesda. Read More...

Review — Maize
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Night Trap We sit down and review Maize. An adventure game all about surviving a bunker full of sentient corn. Here is our review of this Maize Late last year we saw Maize release out there for the PC world and only had glimmers of hope for when it would be making its way over to the PS4 and Xbox One. We all knew it was coming but it wasn't until September 12th that Finish Line Games was able to get the game to make the leap on over. Or the crawl. Read More...

The Nazis Of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Have Claimed More Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Wolfenstein Another look at Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus shows off that the Nazis have claimed much more of the world than we thought from the last Wolfenstein game We have hopefully all been well informed of just how much control the Nazis of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus have under their control in the game's new world. One of the core elements of the story is that it is much more than they did back in WWII and in the first game. Machine Games has them totally taking over America for Wolfenstein II, for those who did not know already, but as it seems they have taken over almost the whole world at this point in the game. Nightmare Creatures Classic horror title, Nightmare Creatures, is getting rebooted, revamped, or just brought back as a new Nightmare Creatures has been announced It is hard to believe that it has been twenty years since Nightmare Creatures first graced us with its presence and tried to put the fear in us with the limited power of the hardware at the time. Don't Look Back In The Evil Within 2 Or The Guardian Will Get You
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Evil Within A new nightmare for The Evil Within 2 is here and looks to bring Sebastian's life to a quick end in The Evil Within 2 if he does not keep moving Before you carry on with this new update for The Evil Within 2, you may want to make sure you have a fresh set of underpants ready as it is for a new monstrosity that will be chasing us down. We are not talking about a basic monster here, but one of the more insane and frightening ones that Tango Gameworks is cooking up for us here. Something that they have labeled as the Gruesome, Giggling Guardian for The Evil Within 2 that pretty much fits the bill on all of the verbs used there for it. Read More...

Review — Life Is Strange: Before The Storm — Awake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange We sit down and review Life Is Strange: Before The Storm — Awake. This is the first episode of the prequel to Life Is Strange. Here is our review on how they did It has been a quick turnaround here for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm as it was first announced at E3 this year and now the first episode of the season has dropped on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC here on August 31st. For those who may have missed out on it so far, this is the prequel to the original episodic game that has Deck Nine Games telling the story of a different character that still has a huge impact on the whole story. I am talking Chloe Price here for Life Is Strange and the ever-missing Rachel Amber. Read More...

Review — Night Trap 25th Anniversary Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Night Trap We sit down and review Night Trap 25th Anniversary Edition. The Interactive Video ‘game’ that caused Senate Hearings is back. Here is our review of this Night Trap I remember so long ago spinning up, literally, Night Trap on my Uncle's Sega CD and giving the game a play. I also remember being yelled at later for playing such a "disgusting" game and then subsequently hearing all of the other horrible things about it. Now we are 25 years after that and we are getting a remaster of the game from Screaming Villains on the PC and PS4. Night Trap is one of the titles out there that was responsible for the ERSB being formed so it feels right to give the game a review and see what I may have missed so long ago and to see how it all holds up over the years. Meet The Blitzmensch Who Is ‘Saving’ The Day In Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Wolfenstein Another ‘propaganda’ video for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has dropped to expand the immersive world this Wolfenstein will be bringing us soon It is time to add another bit of ‘propaganda’ out there for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus with the Blitzmensch. This would be another one of the Nazi videos and shows we will see and hear when shooting our way through Nazi-occupied America in the game. The enemy will always be trying to usurp the current people and this is one of the tactics we will see in the background to explain why it is only BJ Blazkowicz fighting the good fight here. All because Machine Games wanted to make sure we had our immersion for Wolfenstein II in the fictional way and not what is going on in the current times. Read More...

For those who can't remember that, this would be the next title in the Until Dawn universe that Supermassive Games is bringing us and will place us further into the game than before. Assassin’s Creed Origins Sets Out To Have The Largest World Yet
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed More gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Origins is out there and it gives us a better look at how large the world of Assassin’s Creed Origins will be A whole lot of information and impressions for Assassin’s Creed Origins seemed to have flooded out of Gamescom with many sounding based on the similar demo shown off in the recent past for the game. I am not saying this is a bad thing here at all, but this is what Ubisoft has been bringing around so everyone can have a chance to give it all a play before October 27th when it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However, during the most recent event, we did get to see more of the inner machinations and scheming that will be going on with the power players in Assassin’s Creed Origins all to drive the story a bit more. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another fine week of video games in the bag and there was still so much that we did not get a chance to cover this week. I guess that is what having another huge gaming event like Gamescom will do to us all when we are just trying to share it all. I mean, we had a lot of updates and news for Shadow Of War this week and a continued update for South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Not to mention some other great video games getting the announcement like Biomutant and Jurassic World Evolution. Read More...
