Mass Effect 3 Delayed

Did you hear that? The loud grown that just flooded the world as all of the Mass Effect fans just heard that Mass Effect 3 is going to be delayed until 2012. Yea, it sucks for the fans, but with how the game looks to be shaping up, I am completely sure that the wait will be well worth it. That is supposed to be the case when they push things back isn't it? Sure it is… Below there are a few new images for ME3 and I am assuming that the delay has to go with something other than the visuals needing work. The game is looking to be extremely beautiful. Nintendo's New HD Console

According to some anonymous sources with knowledge of Nintendo's Project Cafe the new HD console will go for anywhere between $350 USD and $400 USD and could be launched as early as this October. Although speculations say it could be released as late as next year to allow more consoles, software and games to be prepared for launch. I say having the console release next year would be a wise decision. Having more units and games for a launch date is a smart choice. Read More...

Mass Effect 3 Announced At VGA's

Well I think we all saw this coming. Mass Effect 3 revealed its debut trailer at the Spike TV VGA show this weekend. This was by far one of the most anticipated announcements for the VGA's, with BioWare running a Facebook and Twitter campaign leading up to its debut. Mass Effect 3 is slated for a holiday 2011 release, but as we all know that can change. This is the final chapter in the Mass Effect trilogy, focusing on Commander Shepard and his battle against the Reapers, except this time they've decided to hit home and invade planet Earth! We've all seen this formula before (*cough* Halo *cough*) but hopefully BioWare will be able to add its own flare on an already used up storyline. Read More...

Video Games Saved My Wedding

Dealing with stress is different for each person. For those of you who have dealt with planning a wedding, you know the amounts of stress the participants encounter as the "big day" draws near. For those of you who haven't experienced it, imagine having a Christmas celebration at your place, except you're expected to buy all the presents (even the ones other people are giving each other), do all the cleaning, cook the entire meal, provide entertainment, make drinks and at the end – serve pie.* During the last few weeks prior to my wedding, both my fiancée (now wife, obviously) and I were both working full time and trying to tie up last minute details – of which there were many. Spawn More Overlord, Mass Effect Style

A new DLC is "coming soon" for one of this year's major titles. Of course I am talking about Mass Effect 2. Today BioWare has announced the Overload DLC for XBox 360 and PC. When sent to investigate a Cerberus research base that's mysteriously gone silent, Shepard arrives to find Geth overrunning the base. The sole survivor Chief Scientist Archer, pains a dire picture: an experiment to fuse a human volunteer with a virtual intelligence created a hybrid “VI overlord”. The rampaging VI has already attacked three other Cerberus bases, controlling any technology it finds in an attempt to break free-and unleashing Geth across the planet. Read More...

Mass Effect The Movie

Well this news came sooner than I could ever realized. According to G4tv.com, Legendary Pictures just picked up the rights to make a feature film based on Mass Effect. As we speak they are in discussions with the screen writers from I Am Legend and Thor to produce the screenplay. Now you may be wondering who will be producing the film? You will be happy to know that BioWare's co-founder and VP, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk, along with Mass Effect executive producer, Casey Hudson, will serve as executive producers for the film. Joining in on the fun will be Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni and Ari Arad. Read More...

Mini Review: Dante's Inferno: Trials Of Lucida

That being the DLC that adds multiplayer to a game that was originally sold as a single player experience.
