Mass Effect: Andromeda Gets All Cinematic On Us For N7 Day
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of November 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Mass Effect A new cinematic trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been released as well as details on this Mass Effect's deluxe edition Last week we were given a great tease about what was coming this week for Mass Effect: Andromeda on N7 Day. More or less we were promised a trailer for the game from EA and it was mostly left at that. Now here we are and now here we have the new trailer for the game to show off some of the great cinematography that Bioware is going to be giving us in the final version of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Sadly the release date for the game is still up in the air for Spring of 2017 but at least we know it is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on whichever date is finally selected for the game to land. It's Almost Time To Join The Mass Effect: Andromeda Initiative
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of November 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect A new tease for Mass Effect: Andromeda is here and it looks to be building up for yet another the next Mass Effect N7 day next week Who doesn't like a good tease? A lot of people really but that doesn't mean that we don't have another one for Mass Effect: Andromeda just before the big N7 day that we are always made aware of from Bioware. At least that is the assumption here for the latest teaser video for the game that has been put out there. A nice little thing that wants you to join the Andromeda Initiative for Mass Effect while giving us really no clue what is going on. Read More...

Review — Layers Of Fear: Inheritance
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear We Sit Down And Review Layers Of Fear: Inheritance. We have a new bit of story DLC for a great horror game now. Here's Our Review Of Layers Of Fear: Inheritance Almost a year ago we were all introduced to a full version of Layers Of Fear and some of us regained a love for fear and horror. If not then, then when Bloober Team and Aspyr Media released the game on the PS4 and Xbox One earlier this year. It was fun and had some great jumps to it all but I know I was left wanting more. Can The Child Mind Change Some Horrors In Layers Of Fear: Inheritance
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear The launch trailer for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance has been released just before launch and it sounds like we may be able to alter Layers Of Fear through the eyes of a child Next week we get to head back into the world of Layers Of Fear as the new DLC expansion lands on August 2th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This would be the bit of story for the game that has won the hearts of many for Bloober Team where we get to take on the role of the deranged artist's daughter and head back into the house. At least that is the story for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance as the original story was just us playing through as the artist himself and trying to make heads and tails of what was going on. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear More visuals for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance have been released as we delve deeper into Layers Of Fear's protagonist’s daughter Only a few weeks ago did we catch wind that Layers Of Fear: Inheritance was coming as a nice little DLC for the original horror title from Bloober Team. It is slated for an August 2nd release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC still but it looks like Aspyr Media has some new screen shots for us to look at and see how we are going to dig into the Artist's daughter's psyche in the game. That is what this little bit of Layers Of Fear DLC is going to be all about and it looks like another fun and creepy addition into the realm. Read More...

Time To Claim Your Inheritance As Layers Of Fear Gets Story DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear A new Layers Of Fear experience is upon us as we have the first bit of DLC called Layers Of Fear: Inheritance that will expand more on the original story If you didn't get enough Layers Of Fear back when it first launched and then came to consoles, then it looks like good news is coming for you. It turns out that Bloober Team and Aspyr Media have been working on a bit of DLC for the game and it adds a whole new story into the mix. Yes, we are getting more story for the game as Layers Of Fear: Inheritance is coming this August for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC version of the game and it aims to expand more on the overall story as well as give us a little closure on things…maybe… All we have as of now is that Layers Of Fear: Inheritance will be continuing the story of the original game only that this time it will be from the perspective of the protagonist's daughter. Star Trek Online Boldly Goes Toward Consoles This Fall
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Star Trek Long running Star Trek Online MMO is now heading to the PS4 and Xbox One so more players can experience the Star Trek free-to-play title It's only been about six months in the waiting but now it looks like Star Trek Online is making the voyage to the PS4 and Xbox One. This is something that Perfect World and Cryptic had in the cards since the consoles that could handle the game's engine popped up and we will be seeing it again this Fall. As an added bonus here too, Star Trek Online will also be keeping its Free-To-Play model during the leap so there will be no worry about having to shell out for a game here to play a massive version of "catch up." It does seem a bit odd that it took this long for Star Trek Online to try and make the jump over to the console world but given the controls and UI of the PC version I think it is safe to say that we can blame it on that. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of April 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Feral Rites Insomniac is working on two more VR experiences, Feral Rites & The Unspoken, for the Oculus and both Feral Rites & The Unspoken looks to bring us something completely new Fresh off their most recent amazing release it looks like Insomniac Games has two more games/experiences for us later this year in terms of Feral Rites and The Unspoken. Both of which will be titles for the Oculus technologies and feature very different forms of gameplay and experiences. Of course that would be the case and if it wasn't for the fact that all of the news broke together we would have wasted your time talking about Feral Rites and then go into a whole other posting about The Unspoken. This Week In Video Games 2/15/16 — 2/19/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 20th of February 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with yet another week in video games in the bag. As usual there was so very much that we had to cover and we did our damnedest to make sure we were able to get to every last bit that we could. We did have a lot more on the Far Cry Primal and Paragon side of things than could have been expected but the world of video games is a fickle bitch. I'm just glad we were able to get to the Layers Of Fear and Minecraft: Story Mode reviews we kept talking about that last few weeks. That all said, now we just have to keep looking forward to the next week and all of the other video games that we are going to hear about in the coming days. Read More...

Review — Layers Of Fear
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of February 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear We Sit Down And Review Layers Of Fear. It's been labeled as one of the scariest games in a while but is that true? Here's Our Review Of Layers Of Fear Last year some of the bold gave Layers Of Fear a chance as it hit Steam in way of an Early Access. Usually these don't amount to much and given the failure that Bloober Team suffered not long before that with Basement Crawl not many people wanted to go through the horror of another terrible game. Then it was shown to have some great promise and Aspyr Media chose to foot the bill and give the developer another chance at greatness. It has since been claimed to be like other great horror titles out there but did they hit the mark with Layers Of Fear or is it just another jump scare into mediocrity? Read More...

Layers Of Fear Could Be Holding Something Even Darker Than Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of February 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear Another trailer for Layers Of Fear has been released and it shows more gameplay but also that Layers Of Fear might house something much darker than we thought Layers Of Fear has finally made it into its final form and the "magnum opus" that Bloober Team has been working on is available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It's been labeled as one of the scariest horror titles to date and getting some mixed reviews but could there be more than a lot of us who haven't dug in too deep to expect? The most recent trailer for Layers Of Fear that has been released by Aspyr Media kind of points in that direction as the layers keep coming. Read More...

New Gameplay For Layers Of Fear To Add To The Horror
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of February 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear Another trailer for Layers Of Fear has been released and it shows off how Layers Of Fear is going to look when running on the PS4 and driving us mad A lot of buzz has been going around as of late for Layers Of Fear and the nightmares it looks to bring us all. The buzz should be going abound as Bloober Team still has us set to enter this horror title on February 16th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Between the early access stuff and the insane press kits that have made the circulations it looks like they are going the extra mile for Layers Of Fear. It needs to be done to make up for the last flop that they had and it looks like a lot has been learned from it. Read More...
