Resident Evil A few more details for Resident Evil 3 have been released after it has been confirmed that we will have a whole lot more of Resident Evil soon Last week, we had Resident Evil 3 officially confirmed and we had a nice little run of basics that would be coming with the game. The excitement hit a fever pitch as all of the basics of it all flowed out there. Now we fast-forward a bit and now we have Capcom still out there showing off the game but now with a little more detail to back it all up and give us some more to go on with how this version of Resident Evil 3 will be when we get it on our PS4, Xbox One, and PC this coming April 3rd. Given that the game has been rebuilt from the ground up, as they say, it is nice to get a bit more than just the character models being altered and the visuals getting a nice overhaul. Read More...

Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was a huge week for video games and gamers in general. Sure, we had The Game Awards with all of its announcements, but we also had the big bombshell that a new BioShock is on the way. Resident Evil The rumored Resident Evil 3 Remake is officially coming and with it will be coming Resident Evil Resistance very soon We had the rumors that Resident Evil 3 Remake was in the works and it looks like it is all officially announced during the State Of Play event held by Sony today. Not a huge surprise that it was announced there as it was the PlayStation Store that started all of the rumors that Capcom had to hold off until today. Now we know it is all coming and will not be named anything more than Resident Evil 3 as it drops all of the other subtitles it has had before. Resident Evil A leak may have just given us hope for Resident Evil 3 Remake as well as named out the upcoming Resident Evil: Resistance The rumors have persisted and it looks like we might all have one more step towards the fabled Resident Evil 3 Remake that everyone has been looking for. Given how well the last one was received, it would feel like a missed chance by Capcom to not do it but nothing official has been placed out there. Although, over on Gamstat we did get a nice little logo that popped up and has been since removed showing that a Resident Evil 3 Remake may be in the works and we might be getting an official announcement here soon. Devil May Cry The Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition has a release date for when fans of Devil May Cry will be able to play this game on their Nintendo Switch It looks like we get to add one more to the growing list of titles coming to the Switch next year as we have a solid date for the Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition to hit the platform. Okay, it is not the latest and greatest that Capcom has to offer with the fifth game having been so recent, but it is something that long-time fans can look forward to. MediEvil The next chapter of the MediEvil’s Bonehead’s Guide is here to show us why we will need to collect so many souls in MediEvil Tomorrow, October 25th, is the big day where we all get to dive back into MediEvil and see just how the game should have been made years ago but the hardware was not near where it is now. Even without the subtitle of Remaster, that is about what we are looking at here from Other Ocean when it comes to this game. MediEvil A new comparison video for MediEvil is here to show you what has been updated and changed from the original MediEvil up to now We are getting ever closer to the release of MediEvil on the PS4, which means it is time for even more gameplay to take in. Not only that, but in the traditional manner of gameplay we should expect in terms of how this remake has been updated and altered from Other Ocean to give us what was originally intended. It is always fun when technology advances and we are looking to relive our past through it all again. Devil’s Hunt More gameplay for Devil’s Hunt is here as we get a little more to the overall story we will experience when playing Devil’s Hunt Next week marks when PC gamers will be able to dive into Devil’s Hunt as it hits on September 17th. MediEvil A new look at MediEvil is out there to show off where the game is and what has been added back in from the original run of MediEvil You have been wanting more for MediEvil. Now we have more for the game just ahead of Gamescom where it will be playable for the masses. Sadly, not everyone will be able to make it out for that, so we have to rely on Other Ocean to drop some new gameplay and details for the game on us. There are still a few months until MediEvil's October 25th release date so we have plenty of time for all of that. Devil’s Hunt The release date for Devil’s Hunt is now set down for the PC and we also learned that Devil’s Hunt will be coming to the Switch The wait now has a final time set in place for Devil’s Hunt, as we now have the release date set for September 17th. That is, if you were planning on picking the game on the PC. Yes, we have a split release coming to Devil’s Hunt. There was so much going on out there and it was rough making sure we were able to cover as much of it as we can. Evil Genius While at E3, I was able to see Evil Genius 2: World Domination in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Evil Genius 2: World Domination. The want and need to make our own evil bases to take over the world is coming back with the announcement of Evil Genius 2: World Domination out of E3. Some gamers out there may still be playing around with the older title in this series, but now we all get to look forward to Rebellion bringing us all-new gameplay and experiences here.
