Walkthrough More Of The Gameplay Coming To Us In Deathloop
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Deathloop New gameplay for Deathloop is out of the State Of Play to get us all ready for Deathloop to officially launch It looks like each time we get to see Deathloop, it feels like things keep shifting and changing each time. It kind of fits the idea behind the game here and maybe how Arkane Lyon has been working things up to now. Also, how it seems some of the gameplay will flow in Deathloop when it hits the PS4, PS5, and PC on September 14th. Given that we have only seen the loops playing out and the idea that we need to take everyone out there in the world in one shot besides being able to carry things over between each death. Put Your Creativity To The Test Within Hot Wheels Unleashed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of July 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Hot Wheels Get your classic Hot Wheels fun back into motion with the track builder coming to us within Hot Wheels Unleashed It is not all that surprising here, but it is official that we are going to be getting a track builder in Hot Wheels Unleashed when it drops on September 30th now. It was easy to assume that we were going to get it in there with how basic it would be, and the fact that Milestone would need it to make the game, and now we can see it is happening. All so we can craft our own Hot Wheels stuff and then share it all online with every other player out there to experience. Something that we were not able to do with ease back in the day when setting up the tracks around our homes and rooms. Read More...

Blair Witch Is Creeping Its Way Out On The Oculus Rift
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of July 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Blair Witch The VR version of Blair Witch is launching out there with a few new features coming to Blair Witch too Here we go with the next version of the Blair Witch title out there again with the VR version dropping on us as you are reading these words. We all knew it was coming and I know I was under the impression it would have worked out better for Bloober Team to drop it later in the year, but they are going to do what they want. Even if that does mean that we will be waiting a bit longer to get the PSVR version of Blair Witch out there. That is slated for later in the Summer, so we can look to see it all by late September at the latest. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of July 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go and finish out his week with a few of those stragglers that we out there from the previous big weeks for all of these video games. Not to say that we did not have some good ones here, but after loads were blown during E3, it usually dries up and we have to go about picking up the rest of the pieces out there. Like for Pathfinder, Chernobylite and Doom Eternal. They did have some great showings during the event but these following weeks will always be a bit slower for the big news in video games. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Kingdom Of The Dead A new retro FPS, Kingdom Of The Dead, is coming and it looks like Kingdom Of The Dead will play with some lights to give us some old fun There is certainly a run on "retro" style video games as of late as we add another to the list with Kingdom Of The Dead. Retro in the way that the teams are opting to go with the lower-end visuals and styles to bring us a new game and then hopefully focus on the gameplay mechanics a bit more. That is the hope once again with this new title as we have from Dirigo Games that looks the part. From the gameplay here for Kingdom Of The Dead, it also looks like it could walk the walk when it does launch on the PC in 2022. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of July 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Dreamscaper The release date has shifted for Dreamscaper to offer us all a way to get in on Dreamscaper just a bit sooner It is always a weird thing to see but it is good news when a game's release date is shifted and bringing it to us sooner, which is the case for Dreamscaper that we have here. Originally, it was looking like Afterburner Studios was ready to drop it on the PC and Switch on August 12th, but now we are going to be seeing it on August 5th now. It Will Sone Be Time To Be Brave And Escape From The Tartarus Key
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Tartarus A new horror title, The Tartarus Key, is announced with us needing to escape the various locations in The Tartarus Key Some of out there are looking for the next best visuals when it comes to our horror games, and then there are some that pine for the good old days that The Tartarus Key will be aiming to take us back to. That would be the latest title announced from Vertical Reach recently that will be hitting the PC next year but still give us that feeling of going back to some of the retro style of things some grew up with. My guess is that along with Armor Games Studios, that will be the goal they have and seem to be doing a fairly decent job with based on what little we now have for The Tartarus Key. Read More...

Gamedec Will Be Branching Down Many Lines In Its Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of June 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Gamedec Have a look at how Gamedec will have a host of branching narratives driven by almost any action within Gamedec In an RPG like we are getting with Gamedec, one could expect it to have a very linear story we will follow down with a few different bits of dialog to share so we can feel like we are in that role. Could being the key word there as that is not the case here for the game and Anshar Studios wants us all to know it. In fact, they have taken to a whole new video for Gamedec to help explain to us how many different narrative paths we can go down in the game and the various ways we can manipulate it all once September 16th rolls on up and we are able to play it on our PC. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of June 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Medium The Medium has been announced for the PS5 now and we will be able to head into the dual-worlds of The Medium again As if we could not see it coming beforehand, it looks like The Medium is finally making the leap from the Xbox Series X and PC to head over to the PS5. This was one of the smaller announcements that slipped out during E3 this year from Bloober Team and it should be something to excite us all just a bit more. It was another great entry from the developer before when it hit us and now on September 3rd, we will get to experience the dual-world mechanics and maybe with a few new features along the way. They are looking to use the features of the DualSense controller for The Medium to mix in a few things we did not get before; they just are not fully listed as of yet. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/14/21 — 6/18/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of June 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was one whirlwind of a week there and we barely made it through a small slice of those video games that were announced, updated, or just plain shown off here during this year's virtual E3. While it was a bit easier to cover in this manner, it did feel like there are still so many other games to talk about. I am just glad we were able to get to Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, The Outer Worlds 2, and Redfall here. Read More...
