Almost Died From Memory

More Dead Space Extraction Screens Just when the buzz started to die down about this Wii Rail Shooter, Dead Space: Extraction, EA throws a few more screen shots out at us. Not the best way to generate that buzz back up about the game, but it is a good way to keep the slight vibrations of it going just a little bit longer until the big pay off. Ever thought about changing your name? I have. Ever thought about changing your name to your favorite video game character? No I haven’t? Well a 6 year old Norwegian boy did, and here is what happened. This is according to a Norwegian newspaper and dagbladet.no. Last year Christer wrote a letter to the King asking for his name to be changed to Sonic X. That’s right he wanted his name to be Sonic X, do not know why but he did. Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Revealed

Preordering Sucker Punch's inFamous will get you more than just one good game, it'll get you into a multiplayer beta of another blockbuster game, Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Completely unknown is what the multiplayer entails. Co-op would be nice, though it wouldn't be suitable for a beta. Deathmatch would be cool too, as would capture the flag and a headquarters style game. More details should emerge on Monday when SCE makes their "electrifying announcement". Read More...

$10 Games From Best Buy It's been said a billion times over that we gamers all like to have our habits be cheap. I mean who wouldn't right? What better than getting a load of titles on sale for dirt cheap, comparative to the normal costs? Like 1/5 to 1/6 the normal cost of a normal launch price for a game. If you wouldn't, then throw down that disposable income to people like myself who could always use a little extra scratch. Left4Dead DLC Release Day

Today Valve released downloadable content on both the PC and the Xbox 360. Called the Survival Pack, the DLC provides new campaign maps for the Versus Mode and an entirely new gameplay option, Survival Mode. Also included are various patches and fixes to improve the overall gameplay by covering up the glitches and bugs found in the game post-release. In Versus Mode, teams of players take turns being the survivors trying to escape and the special infected bent on stopping them. The addition of new campaigns has been widely sought by the community at large. Read More...

EA INVITES PSP OWNERS TO GO TO HELL So it almost seems that EA is trying to get totally behind any and all IPs it pumps out to market. By totally behind I'm talking the Film, comics, and pre-planed sequel to Dead Space. All the DLC plans for Mirror's Edge. It's arena in PSHome. This also seems to be no different for there next big IP, Dante's Inferno. Why? Alright you animal loving people out there especially those who play the lovely game of World of Warcraft. This Saturday the lovely group of peta has set up an event on the WhisperWind realm at the Howling Fjord area to help stop the killing of….seals?? “Thrall refused to ban the slaughter of seals, despite multiple requests from the Alliance to do so, because Orgrimmar stands to make a large profit from the fur. Activists from across the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor are banding together to put a stop to the atrocious seal slaughter.” Just recently the Canadian government has started their killing on seals, which means sealers are free to kill up to 338,200 of these harmless creatures. Rock Band Unplugged Does anyone else remember a little game Harmonix made oh so long ago called Amplitude? Where you flew a space craft around on different tracks and shot down "notes" to keep the beat, vocals, etc. going on a song playing in the background. Valve Spanks "Bad" Servers

Announced in the Team Fortress 2 blog, Valve has begun a process that will be de-listing servers they deem as "bad." Using number of connections and player time on the server as the main factors in judgment, they calculated a score for each server and those servers in a certain block (my guess is a percentage), were removed from the master server listing system. Password-protected and low-use (less than 200 connections) servers were excluded from the search and destroy mission.Once again Valve is making owning one of their software titles a treat and a vacation from released garbage put on shelves only to remove $50 or $60 from your pocket.
