Two new live action trailers from BioWare have popped up online and signs point to a new IP called Shadow Realms Over the last few weeks it looks like BioWare has been teasing a new IP and if all clues are correct it could be titles Shadow Realms. We wondered what it would be like to enter into the Borderlands and Nerdist gave us that chance with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Las Tag at SDCC San Diego Comic Con was not only filled with gaming/geek news this year but it was also filled with loads of amazing experiences to promote and excite fans all around. The Walking Dead Escape was back at SDCC giving all of us a feel for what a Survival Horror game really feels like For the third year running (pun intended) I was able to experience The Walking Dead Escape at SDCC. I broke down what it was all about before but I'll give the quick version just in case you are lazy. In a nut shell it is a real world survival horror event that tests if you could escape from one end of a location, Petco Park in this case, to the other without being swarmed by the undead horde. While At SDCC I Got To See Escape Dead Island In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It It seems like I should have had to wait a bit longer to get a look at Escape Dead Island as it was only announced a month ago but I'll take it none the less. Especially since Escape Dead Island seems to be taking the amazing universe and changing a lot of the mechanics that we are used to and changing them or removing them to fit this new take on Dead Island. A new trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition has been released showing off all of the facets of the combat system for the game It seems odd to keep talking about it as we've seen it many times before but here is some more on the combat system in Dragon Age: Inquisition. It really seems like BioWare is insanely proud of this system as it is being pushed more than the great story that I've been hearing for the game and other great features. I guess since it is looking like the best version of a D&D video game combat system it is something to be proud of. During the Skybound Entertainment panel for The Walking Dead at SDCC, season three for the game was announced We haven't even finished off season two of The Walking Dead from Telltale and now we have season three on the way. It has been confirmed during the panel at SDCC where the game was mentioned and then confirmed from Robert Kirkman and the president of Telltale games, Kevin Bruner. GameStop has announced that they will have an exclusive DCL pack for Batman: Arkham Knight that adds the Red Hood's Story It looks like we are getting more to Batman: Arkham Knight than just the Harley Quinn story pack. That is at least if you are pre-ordering the game for your local GameStop and nowhere else. None the less it is confirmed now that we are getting more story DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight in the form of the Red Hood and it doesn't look like the Joker's version of the Red Hood either. A new trailer show a behind the scenes look and interviews with the original cast coming together for Alien Isolation's DLC If you had that wonder mentioned above for Alien Isolation then we can put that to rest for now. In fact it sounds like the original cast seems to like the overall idea of Alien Isolation and the two bits of DLC they all worked on for us. In case you forgot that would be the Crew Expendable and Last Survivor packs that cause quite a stir a little while ago. A new collectors for Skylanders Trap Team has been announced called the Dark Edition It has been well reported that we will be able to trap villains and use them in the upcoming Skylanders Trap Team. This also includes the likes of Kaos, the main villain over the past few titles. This of course requiring a special add-on to the physical game in the form of keys which are purchased separately like all of the toys; this would include the special Kaos trap. That is if you don't purchase the new Skylanders Trap Team Dark Edition Starter Pack. A cinematic trailer for The Walking Dead: No Man's Land has been released to announce the new tie-in game The Walking Dead franchise is still a steam roller and in a preempt for SDCC we now have The Walking Dead: No Man's Land announced. The Telltale game has been relatively amazing, the Facebook tie-in social game was ok-ish, and the other console game from what I hear was 'meh'. Now we have yet another title but this time just for mobile from Next Games and AMC. A screenshot from the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain looked real enough to be used for real news This news report has since been updated but it feels more like a PR spin than truly admitting that they screwed up and used an image from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to shock people into believing their propaganda or at least listen to what they were saying. "News" outlet RT and show SophieCo were recently covering a story on children soldiers and were speaking to a former child soldier when the camera panned by and showed a scene from the next Kojima game. Like I said, it has since been updated to state that they knew it was from a video game but I have a feeling that is just to save face as something like this could ruin what the discussion was actually about. Media Molecule shows off a bit of their latest IP in the form of a rendering error It's not every day that anyone embraces their mistakes as Media Molecule just has. Usually things like this get thrown aside or swept under the rug; especially something as little as a rendering error. Not here though as it looks like Media Molecule is using an error like this to kind of tease their next IP coming to the PS4. The release trailer and dates for the fourth episode of The Walking Dead's second season have been announced As I stated yesterday, we now have the trailer and release dates for the next episode for The Walking Dead from Telltale. Also as I speculated all of these dates are next week scattered about based on the platform or region of the planet you live in. This means that all of you playing via Steam or on your PS3s in the NA region can look forward to downloading the new episode on July 22nd.
