PlayStation Experience Hands On — Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
While At The PlayStation Experience I Was Able To See Mortal Kombat X In A More Intimate Setting Than Just A Trailer. I Was Able Beat People To Death. Here's What I Thought Of The Game There was no new character for Mortal Kombat X announced nor was there an exclusive character just for the PS3/PS4 mentioned at the PlayStation Experience but the latest build was available for us all to play. This included all characters, levels, variations, and moves that have been seen up until the Quan Chi announcement. That was a hefty bit if I do say so but it was well under 50% of what it looks like we will be getting in the final version of Mortal Kombat X. Read More...

PlayStation Experience Hands On — The Order: 1886
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
While At The PlayStation Experience I Was Able To See The Order: 1886 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just A Trailer. Here's My Take On The Victorian Age Shooter Coming To PS4 Next Year Only a few months now until The Order: 1886 releases at is shocks me that it has taken this long to get my hands on the game. Well if you negate the fact that the average wait time to play the demo at the PlayStation Experience was about three and a half hours then it may not be as shocking. Luckily for me, and in turn you, I was able to bypass the long wait (by rushing to the booth first thing) and was able to get my hands on the public demo and the press demo that Ready At Dawn and Santa Monica Studios brought to the PSX. Time To Wrap Up That Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
Part three of the Batman: Arkham Knight trailer trilogy was shown off at the PlayStation Experience thus concluding the Ace Chemicals infiltration Batman: Arkham Knight was not playable at the PlayStation Experience over last weekend, which was a sad thing, but that didn't stop Rocksteady and Warner Bros. from showing off some amazing footage as well as announce the PS4 exclusive DLC that makes me even more excited to get the game next year. Why they felt that they had to release the trailer in three parts is still an open question from me but someone thought it would be a great idea. Read More...

PlayStation Experience Hands On — Drawn To Death
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Drawn To Death was not only announced at the PlayStation Experience but it was also on the show floor in the pre-alpha build. Here's my take on how Drawn To Death handled thus far The teased title for The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency was officially announced at the PlayStation Experience in the way of Drawn To Death. Drawn To Death is a new arena shooter of sorts that is all in the style of some high school student's notebook doodles. It made a huge splash and was a great way to end the entire keynote for the PlayStation Experience on Saturday (12/6/14). Read More...

Dead Island: Epidemic, the ZOMBA title from Deep Silver, has now entered an open beta stage for us all to play and test Good news for all of those who were excited for Dead Island: Epidemic but were not able to participate in any of the closed or past betas for the game. You most likely don't know what PC stands for if you couldn't catch what that acronym meant BTW. Read More...

Last Year Turns The Slasher Flick Into A 5v1 Multiplayer Romp
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
The latest Kickstarter buzz title is Last Year which is an Asymmetrical Multiplayer Survival Horror title that lets a player be the killer Here we go with another Kickstarter project in the way of Last Year. It seems like these things are a dime a dozen as of late and unless some random person finds it amazing the campaign will most likely fail. Luckily for Last Year it looks like it has a gimmick that is all the rage with a mix of a bit of perceived originality. Screw Evolve's 4 versus 1 platform. Read More...

More Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay Footage To Blow Your Eyes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Part two of the Batman: Arkham Knight Ace Chemicals gameplay has been released and it shows off how hardcore the Batmobile is truly going to be We have the second part of the latest Batman: Arkham Knight gameplay now. I am still not sure why Warner Bros. or Rocksteady thought they had to split the gameplay footage into two parts but none the less they did. Just like before it may be new to some of you in the aspect of having something to ingest with your eyes but you should have had a word picture painted for you with words by now; if you've been reading anything worth a damn online about Batman: Arkham Knight from the recent cons and game shows. I've tried at least. Read More...

Review: Tales From The Borderlands — Zer0 Sum
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Zer0 Sum. This is the first episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did The first episode and debut of Tales From The Borderlands is now here. This has been one of those most talked about titles and fans of the Borderlands franchise have been questioning its worth since the first announcement about a year ago. This is a huge franchise with a lot of rabid fans so Telltale had their work cut out to make Gearbox's franchise prosper in a non-FPS way. Did they hit the nail on the head or is this just another QTE sit and watch a predictable plot. Read More...

New Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay For The Watching
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
A truncated version of the E3 Batman: Arkham Knight demo has been released to show the world how bad-ass Batman is going to be You've been waiting for some new Batman: Arkham Knight footage and it looks like Rocksteady and Warner Bros. are ready to oblige you with that want. We have some "new" gameplay for Batman: Arkham Knight just a bit below and it is… nothing all too new except for those who have yet to make it to a trade show or major convention. While the footage is quite cool and shows off Arkham Knight rather well, don't read into all the hype that everyone else is placing on it as it isn't anything too new for most. Then again, I am looking at this as someone who has been neck deep in all of the gameplay and news that has come out for Batman: Arkham Knight since we first received the announcement. Read More...

Review: Escape Dead Island
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Escape Dead Island. It is a new spin on the Dead Island franchise all to expand the franchise but does it? None The Less Here Is Our Review The time is upon us to try and Escape Dead Island. No not to try and escape the need for the franchise but to actually play through and hopefully enjoy Fatshark's new take on the Dead Island franchise and to give us a bridge until the next major sequel to the core franchise hits our gaming shelves. Do Deep Silver and Fatshark have a great title for us on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC or is the cell shading style just as dead as the zombies we need to escape from. Here's what I have to say in my review of Escape Dead Island. Read More...
