Reptile Slithers Into The Mortal Kombat X Roster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of January 2015 - 06:01 PM ]
Reptile has been confirmed for Mortal Kombat X now and we have a nice little trailer showing off the lizard kombatant melting faces We have the first of two new characters for Mortal Kombat X to be revealed this week and it is Reptile. Yet another character that you would have been a no-brainer for NetherRealm to add into the Mortal Kombat X mix and now we have it confirmed. Not only confirmed but a bit in motion and showing off some great new moves as well as a literal face melting opening for a fatality. Why we only get the opening for these fatalities is still a little bit of a mystery for me but I'd assume that it is to try and keep 1. Read More...

Lady Hammerlock Is Coming To Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of January 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Lady Hammerlock was announced at PAX South 2015 to be a new DLC character for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel starting January 27th Hopefully you Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel fans were keeping a close eye on the news out of PAX South over the weekend as it looks like Lady Hammerlock is joining the rogue's gallery of characters you can play in the game starting tomorrow (1/27/15). For those not in the know Lady Hammerlock happens to be Sir Hammerlock's sister whom he himself has a bit of fear of. I'm guessing jealousy as well as Lady Hammerlock is the heiress to the Hammerlock fortune leaving her to be able to buy all of those cool toys we will be using to freeze and destroy the inhabitants of Pandora coming up soon. Quantic Dream Is Announcing Something New On January 28th
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of January 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Quantic Dream has a new teaser site up and ominous Tweets about a possible new IP being announced on January 28th 2015 Quantic Dream has a nice little list of titles under their belt and it looks like there may be one more getting added into the mix. Most recently they have made huge splashes on the PS3 with Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. Both great titles in my opinion even though most other outlets and gamers would greatly disagree. They've also made another title that was well received on the PS2, Xbox, and PC called Indigo Prophecy if you are still here trying to find a reason to care about this new little tease from Quantic Dream. The Handsome Collection Brings Borderlands To The PS4 & XB1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection has been announced from 2K and Gearbox and is bring two of the franchise's titles to the PS4 and Xbox One We apparently wanted it so 2K is bringing the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection to give all of those PS4 and Xbox One players a chance to enjoy the franchise on their new shiny consoles. They've only been out for over a year now so we need more of the old shit rehashed to pay for the future of the development studio and publisher for the Borderlands franchise. Also to allow for a "new generation" of gamers to experience the titles that came out during their generation but that is neither here nor there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of January 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
It's been announced that The Order: 1886 has reached the gold status in the development so we have a new trailer that shows new gameplay and the pre-order DLC We can all sit pretty now that we now that The Order: 1886 has gone gold and it will take something major to make us have to wait any longer for the game. We are almost a month out now from The Order: 1886 hitting the PS4 now and it still seem like we are a ways off so hopefully that won't happen and we won't have to wait longer. That also means that we still have time to pre-order the game as well without the same worry so if you haven't already and The Order: 1886 is on your waiting list you can still get the hook up. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of January 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
In the wake of some new Rock Band DLC, Harmonix has issued out a new survey that could mean a new title or next gen port If you signed up for Rock Band's newsletter or linked your games to Harmonix's web accounts then you might have received a nice little email recently asking you to take a survey. If you did not, then A you are missing out and B you would not have been asked directly about all of your past Rock Band experiences. These kinds of surveys go out all of the time and in fact this would be the second one I have seen in the last few months. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
A new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat X shows off two characters, Kitana & Kung Lao, as well as a tease for the pre-order bonus We all kind of knew that Kung Lao was coming to Mortal Kombat X when early shots from a gaming magazine hit the web at the beginning of this year. Now we have a new gameplay trailer and we get to see not only Kung Lao in action but the return of Kitana in this next iteration of the franchise. She is another character that I figured would be gracing us again in Mortal Kombat X but now we have the official showing as well as the ability to see her in action. That includes at least a small look at one of her new fatalities for Mortal Kombat X. Read More...

Meet The Order 1886's Little Bobby Paige
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
A new The Order 1886 trailer has been released and it shows off how the werewolf plague may have started in London We have a new trailer of sorts for The Order 1886 from Ready At Dawn. Well more or those marketing kind of trailers as there is no definition of if this is just a cool and creepy little promo for The Order 1886 or if we are getting a glimpse at the character in the story who may grow up to be the main antagonist. This character being names Little Bobby Paige if you have yet to catch on from the title and looking down at the video just a few inches down. Like I said though, there still is no word on if Bobby is just there to remind us The Order 1886 launches on the PS4 next month or if we are getting story. Read More...

A New Friday The 13th Game Is In The Works For 2015
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
It's been announced that there is a new Friday The 13th title in the works from Crystal Lake Entertainment and an un-named developer Good news for us horror fans, maybe, as there is a new Friday The 13th video game in the works. This is to go hand in hand with the new TV show and film but hopefully will not be solely a tie-in for the franchise. Details are still sparse on it all since the news dropper "exclusively" on EGM Now but that does not mean we don't have at least the basics as we wait for the anything visual for this new Friday The 13th game. It's been over 25 years now since Jason graced our video games so it is high time and Crystal Lake Entertainment thinks they need to get piece of the gaming pie again. Read More...

A Better Look At The Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Chicken Hat
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
We have some official screenshots and details for that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain chicken hat that was all the rage Back around Christmas the hopefuls for a Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain release date were trolled and shown a new hat that can be used in the game. The chicken hat for those who don't want to go back and read. Some though this was still a joke that Hideo Kojima was running on everyone but it looks like Konami and Kojima Productions have confirmed the hat more so by giving us all some nice new screenshots and a better description of how the hat will be used once we actually get the game. Hopefully this year some time but that is still a great mystery to be solved for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and that may take a lot longer than solving P. Read More...

Did Batman: Arkham Knight Get Accidentally Spoiled?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Looks like one of the pre-order bonuses for Batman: Arkham Knight might have spoiled the game's ending on accident If you don't want any bit of Batman: Arkham Knight spoiled for you then you might want to stop reading. Who am I kidding though? You already clicked in with the given title so you are ready to find out how Batman: Arkham Knight's story and conclusion may have been spoiled almost half a year before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The worst part behind it, if it is true then it isn't any crazy slip by Rocksteady or Warner Bros. but via the Limited Edition bundle of the game and Amazon having amazing images for the bundle.
