Left 4 Dead Demo Free 4 Everyone *Updated*
by Sam [ Wednesday, 12th of November 2008 - 06:16 PM ]
The PC demo for Valve's upcoming survivor horror game Left 4 Dead is now available for download without putting down a pre-order like in the 360 version. I haven't got a chance to try, or even download it yet. Hell I don't even know if my computer will run it. It seems worthy of trying, seeing all the good things I've been hearing about it.     UPDATE: They released the demo free for the 360 in the marketplace. Just downloaded it this afternoon. by Sam [ Wednesday, 12th of November 2008 - 06:06 PM ]
Looking to get a Wii for the holidays? Sam's Club's Black Friday has a great deal on Nintendo Wiis and other accessories. Wii Fit is only $79 which isn't that bad of a price if you ask me. But the biggest appeal is the "Nintendo Wii Family Bundle". For just $244 you get a Wii with 2 bonus remotes, 2 nunchuks, Super Mario Sluggers and King of Clubs Mini-Golf. All for $20 less than you would pay for a Wii itself. This is sure to be a hot item, so if you're still Wii searching, now's your chance to get one for a great deal. Read More...

RE: Spoilers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of November 2008 - 05:34 PM ]
First 11 Minutes Of Resident Evil: Degeneration So I am a sucker for seeing things to get myself pumped up for new films or games. Even if they spoil parts of the film. It's just me. But below, IGN has released the first 11 minutes of the new CGI film for Resident Evil. The first one is just general back story and set up for the film, and the second clip is segregated for a good reason. It requires age verification to see. For good reason, at least to cover their asses. Read More...

Link Of Awesome
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of November 2008 - 08:59 PM ]
Videos For Zelda Fans For some reason I have been having a few issues finding anything decent to write about as of late for you guys. But don't fret, not that you would, I have a couple of videos that I stumbled on that you might find of interest. This first on is a scene from Resident Evil 4 where instead of Leon, there is a Link skin instead. Still not sure how it happened or if it is just someone's really good video editing skills to do this, but it is completely amazing. This next one is kind of of interest and a little bit of news. by Michael Camacho [ Thursday, 6th of November 2008 - 11:59 PM ]
Ready to put you’re fishing skills to the test? Then check out Rapala Fishing Frenzy 2009, brought to us by Activision and Fun Labs. The game is exactly what you would expect, a fishing simulation game featuring the Rapala license. But does a fishing sim on the XBox 360 translate to actual gaming fun? Well that all depends on what you are expecting from your fishing experience. In Rapala 2009 you start off the game by choosing whether your character is a male or female, and then you come to main menu. Read More...

Get Your Free Movie On
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of November 2008 - 10:11 PM ]
Netflix Giving Away 48 Hour Streaming Trials With New XBOX 360 Games So I figured it was only a matter of time before we got these kinds of things, I didn't expect it so soon. Not that I'm complaining though. Oh, I'm talking about getting the free trial pamphlets for NetFlix for the new XBox service. I figured since most people get them for the normal service, they would pop up for gamers too. Well it looks like the below blogger just got one in the Quantum of Solace box. Read More...

LittleBigUpdates
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of November 2008 - 05:43 PM ]
I apologize now for the loads of news you will most likely be seeing surrounding this game. There is just so much and I get all kinds of details sent to me. More than any thing right now. So I'll preface that. But here are three interesting things that just popped up around LBP. LittleBigPlanet To Add Sticker Import From Hard Drive Might not sound all that cool, at least to some, but this is something that was originally stated was most likely never going to be an option within the game. What is that? Since I might not have been totally clear with the heading, looks like MM is working on a way to import images from the Hard Drive instead of just using your PSEye or USB Camera to get these images into your levels. Quantum of Solace Review, XBOX 360
by Ben Brody [ Tuesday, 4th of November 2008 - 07:06 AM ]
Quantum of SolaceESRB: TeenReviewed on: Xbox 360Quantum of Solace is Activision's first 007 game released since gaining the license from EA in 2006. It also marks the first Bond game released on 7th generation consoles (it is also released on 6th gen too). Daniel Craig, Eva Green, Mads Mikklesen, Olga Kurylenko, Mathieu Amalric, and Judi Dench all lend their voice and likeness to the game, which does give make it seem like you indeed are playing the movie, however, this time, that's a bad thing.Quantum of Solace doesn't fail so much due to the fact that it's not a great game to play, it fails in the regard that it's based on a movie, which while containing some over-the-top action, was largely a drama-love story that couldn't hold a candle to the action found in Goldeneye, From Russia With Love, Everything or Nothing, or even Nightfire. When producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson decided to take Bond in a different direction I was pleased with what came out on the big screen but was disappointed in the fact that the toned down, more realistic action wouldn't translate well to a video game, where over-the-top is the standard. A Steam Cloud is rolling in...
by [ Tuesday, 4th of November 2008 - 02:20 AM ]
Today, Valve has announced a platform that will store game applications online so that gamers can access them from any PC. Affectionately titled Steam Cloud, the November zombie thriller Left 4 Dead will ship with out-of-the-box support. According to Valve, the Steam Cloud "just works," meaning that any changes a gamer makes to configurations in-game such as button layouts, difficulty settings, or multiplayer options will be automatically delegated to the user’s Steam Cloud account on another computer. Gabe Newell, president and co-founder of Valve, explains: "For some time now, Steam has allowed gamers to log on from any computer in the world and access their applications. This also makes it easy to upgrade a PC without worrying about losing your games. Read More...

Opening Five Minutes Of Left 4 Dead So after seeing the beginning ads and teaser stuff we were running on pwned for a while, I've kept a close eye on this game. Activision and Radical Entertainment bring us the fifteenth installment in the Crash Bandicoot franchise, with Crash: Mind Over Mutant. The game's premise is centered on a brand new technological device, called the "NV", that is worn on the wearer’s head, and acts as the last PDA you'll ever need. by [ Friday, 31st of October 2008 - 05:43 AM ]
Silent Hill: for fans, that name is synonymous with fear, psychotic episodes, trippy visuals, and mindbending storylines.
