The Walking Dead Enters A New Frontier With The Next Season
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of September 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The third season of The Walking Dead from Telltale has a new name, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, and aims for a November release date for episode one I hope you weren't attached to the original title as The Walking Dead: A New Frontier looks to be the new name of the famed franchise from Telltale Games. This seems a little odd to me as they are continuing the overall story but maybe there is a better or hidden reason than I am seeing. None the less we have the name and it looks like we are also going to be getting more of The Walking Dead this November on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and mobile devices. Read More...

Dead Rising 4 Looks To Be Going Even More Over The Top With Weapons
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Dead Rising 4 Some new gameplay for Dead Rising 4 has come out of Gamescom and it looks like we have other IPs as weapons in Dead Rising 4 again and then some There has been a whole load of gameplay released out there for Dead Rising 4 and it looks like we have even more to show off right out of Gamescom. It may not be in the form of a solid demo of the game run by Capcom but it is a whole lot more gameplay and showcasing of some of the games more unique weapons and armor. I mean Dead Rising 4 wouldn't be a fit into the franchise if it wasn't for all of the over the top style of weapons, armor, and gadgets so this is to be expected. Read More...

Celebrate 10 Years Of Dead Rising By Getting The Remasters This September
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Dead Rising The remasters of the Dead Rising franchise have a release date just in time for the Dead Rising 10th anniversary that is coming this September Yesterday, August 8th, marked the literal 10th anniversary of Dead Rising's first release date and now it looks like we have a solid date on when we are all going to get to play the remaster of most of the titles that have come out in the franchise to date. I am not certain why Capcom is leaving out the third solid game in the list here but they are. None the less we will be getting all of the other Dead Rising titles remastered and out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13th with all of the usual upgrades and additions we should expect. Review — Dead Island Remaster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Dead Island We sit down and review Dead Island Remaster. The old title has been revamped up for the new systems with all the bells and whistles. Here's our review of Dead Island Remaster It's been almost five years since Dead Island first came out on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. In my opinion this is what started Techland off on the road to making some amazing zombie games and now it has been remastered and bundled together by Deep Silver for the PS4, and Xbox One. All of the usual remastered items being added into the mix here for Dead Island to keep us all playing it further and possibly stepping away from the other titles we have out there currently. Thankfully we had the chance to give this remaster a whirl and here is our review of the Dead Island remaster. Read More...

Inside Is Coming Out For The PS4 Later This Month Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Inside It looks like Inside can no longer be thought of as a platform exclusive as Inside is now slated to release for the PS4 this month If you were like me way back when Inside was originally announced, you may have thought that we would only be seeing the title hit the Xbox One and Windows through the usual means. Since it came out said platforms it has won Playdead many awards and made me even question why it was limited to just one platform. Well that is no more as it has been confirmed that Inside will be coming to the PS4 on August 23rd now so we can all experience what the team has worked on since Limbo did so well too. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/25/16 — 7/29/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of July 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games We missed out on the recap of video games last week due to all of the insanity of SDCC but we are back this week. Things just always seem to get so crazy during this part of the month but it does give us a whole lot to discuss and bring you so we won't complain too much here. We did get more on Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare and South Park: The Fractured But Whole out of it all didn't we? Not to mention all of the other video games that held their updates until after we all got back from the convention and could recoup. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Dead Rising 4 A new behind the scenes video for Dead Rising 4 has been released and it shows off just how Dead Rising 4 is going back to the franchise's roots If you were looking for more for Dead Rising 4 than the little bit of a tease we had at E3 then you don't need to look much further than here. That is if you missed out on the SDCC panel that was held were Capcom showed off a bit more of the game. Not on a bit more but more on the behind the scenes of Dead Rising 4 where some of the new mechanics, locations, and zombies were shown off to the fans in attendance. Read More...

New Details For The Walking Dead Season Three & Screenshots
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead A few new tidbits for The Walking Dead season three from Telltale have come out of SDCC as well as some new screenshots for The Walking Dead's third season It was stated that we would get some more on the third season of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead during San Diego Comic Con and fans were not let down. At least not let down outside of the fact that we were still left with a whole lot to wonder on as we head toward the new season's release and just what has gone on in the game's world since then. Especially since most of it is all cannon for The Walking Dead franchise and not just some extra fluff. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/4/16 — 7/8/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of July 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games One more week in video games is in the bad now and it has been another fun one. We were able to see Evolve go free-to-play, how South Park is taking comedy serious here, and also a whole bunch of new Battlefield 1 gameplay to tide us over for a bit. We also had the chance to review three more video games here this week with some highs and some lows. It pains me to see horrible game reviews but then again it is our job to tell the developers when they have given us trash and when they have given us gold. Read More...

Review — Deadlight: Director's Cut
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Deadlight We sit down and review Deadlight: Director's Cut. It's another remaster for a game that didn't get much love before. Here's our review of Deadlight: Director's Cut It's only been a short four years and now we have Deadlight: Director's Cut landing on the PS4 and Xbox One after a nice stint on the 360 and PC. This would be Tequila Works' side-scrolling zombie adventure that aims to focus on story more than just exploding brains. It was decently received the first time around but now we have a more definitive edition of the game here now with all of the extra mixed in that the original Deadlight just didn't have. Read More...

Here's A Red Dead Redemption Update But Not Exactly What We Hoped For
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Red Dead Redemption The latest game to hit the Xbox One backwards compatibility program is Red Dead Redemption and it doesn't matter which version of Red Dead Redemption you own to have access Leading up to E3 and well before that we had a lot of "leaks" and news about something related to Red Dead Redemption coming soon. A lot of us thought that this was all to lead up to Rockstar Games announcing a sequel to the original title but as that time has come and gone it looks like we'll have to wait longer. What we won't have to wait for is the original Red Dead Redemption to hit the Xbox One as Take-Two Interactive is allowing it to head to the system via the backwards compatibility program that has been set up. Left 4 Dead 3 Might Have Just Been Revealed On Accident
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 30th of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Left 4 Dead 3 We may be shown that Left 4 Dead 3 is coming to us sometime as Left 4 Dead 3 was spotted on an employee's computer in some way If rumors and speculation are true it looks like Left 4 Dead 3 may be on its way here in some time. That time is still up in the air if it is truly being worked on but as it looks an employee has been spotted over at Valve with a directory structure showing files that point to the game being in production. Of course this doesn't dictate that Left 4 Dead 3 is going to be a solid release here in the developer's portfolio but it does kind of lend to it being in the works. Especially given all of the other weirdness that happen to be going on along with this supposed leak of the game. Read More...

The Walking Dead Season 3 Is Coming & Bringing A Familiar Face
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of June 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The first teaser trailer for The Walking Dead's third season has been revealed and it looks like The Walking Dead is jumping forward in time but keeping fan favorites If you were able to pay full attention to everything out of E3 then this may be old news to you but for those who were overloaded with news, then you may have missed that The Walking Dead season three is slated to start up sometime this Fall. Not only that but we have a nice little trailer out of Telltale Games and a few little tidbits on the game directly. Given the success of The Walking Dead in general it shouldn't have been that big of a shocker to see the third season coming but in this season it looks like the surprises are more in the game than that it is coming. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Dead Island The first trailer for Dead Island Retro Revenge has been released and shows us that little extra we'll be getting in the Dead Island Definitive Collection If Dead Island Retro Revenge doesn't sound overly familiar then you may not have been paying attention to the latest Definite Collection that has been announced. That would be one for the titular franchise that Deep Silver is having all polished up for us and releasing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 31st. You know, the Dead Island Definitive Collection and all. Read More...
