007 First Light A new look at 007 First Light out of CES is here to show us just how NVIDIA will be pushing 007 First Light forward Fresh off the recent delay of 007 First Light, it looks like we have a lot more driving its way out to us for the game during CES. Not anything unusual, since the gadgets and vehicles in the IP get highlighted during the show, but here we go with a look at how IO Interactive is teaming up with NVIDIA to help give the PC version of the game a bit of a push before the new May 27th release date. Resident Evil Resident Evil is coming to life with the new Path Tracing & DLSS 4 features that Resident Evil Requiem will house It feels like it would not be CES without Capcom showing off something new out there with their games, and it looks like Resident Evil Requiem is taking the stage here. That might sound weird to many, but they do like offering their games to showcase either new PC hardware or showcase a new console feature. Xbox A new platform for the Xbox cloud gaming is on the way, with a new partnership announced for Xbox during CES It seemed like it was something that might never have come, but it looks like you might not need anything by a TV screen to play your favorite Xbox games again. Not that we won't have the Xbox Series X|S and PC as options to play, still. Also, maybe a new system that has yet to be announced as well. Hyperkin Hyperkin has a new controller on the way with a look at the updated Hyperkin Competitor controller While gaming is not usually a huge focus out at CES, this year Hyperkin came on out there to show off the new Hyperkin Competitor as it is licensed by Xbox. Normally, it is not a huge thing and one would expect it to just be something that has the branding of the company on another company's product. That is only slightly the case with this one as the Hyperkin Competitor is taking the form of another competitor's product to give many gamers a layout and experience that was only able through third-party and other backdoor ways out there. Half-Life A new look at the Half-Life 2 RTX project is out of CES 2024 with a look at how the community is bringing Half-Life 2 back to life One would not expect to hear about a new mod-driven update for Half-Life 2 to get an announcement out of CES 2024, but here we are. The event has been in full swing and during the recent NVIDIA showcase of the new hardware and features, we were all treated to seeing how the Half-Life 2 RTX project will be bringing this classic title back into our lives and with some new visuals. Along with all of the other tweaks and changes that the modding community has gone through to make sure this IP does not die; even if the main developer does not seem to want to give us another full entry into it all. If you did not know before, the Half-Life 2 RTX project is one where a community of fans have opted to go in and bring this title into the new age with new graphics, assets, and all of the other bells and whistles a modern game would have.
