A Lot Of New Action Is Coming With Outcast: Second Contact
by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 8th of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Outcast Another new developer diary for Outcast: Second Contact is here and we also get to see a lot more on the side of combat & action for Outcast: Second Contact Next week, November 14th, we will see Outcast: Second Contact land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC yet we still have so much more to see and understand for the game. At least if you had little to no knowledge of the game before Appeal and Bigben went to give us this new version and continuation of the franchise. It is hard to wrap it all up in one short way, but as it looks, that will not be needed here as we can further see how the action and combat of Outcast: Second Contact have been altered from where the franchise originally had it. by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 26th of October 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Outcast Another trailer for Outcast: Second Contact has dropped to show us how things should be a snap in Outcast but we all know that they really will not be The wait is almost over now as we have a release date for Outcast: Second Contact on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It has felt like a long delay since we first heard that Appeal and Bigben were bringing us this great 1999 game again in this remake. Now we only have a few weeks to go until we can jump in and see how well it was put back together and brought back to us all. At least if Outcast: Second Contact looks like it could be your cup of tea here. Read More...

Get Ready To Take To The Sky With ThatGameCompany's Next Title
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 13th of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Sky The next title from ThatGameCompany has been announced, Sky, and it looks to do just what the title says by taking us on an adventure in the Sky It looks like the wait for whatever the next title ThatGameCompany is working is now over as we just had the announcement that it is a title named Sky. It is nice, simplistic, and looks to use the same gameplay modes that the developer has used for so long to make some amazing title. The only truly weird part is that Sky will be coming to the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV before anywhere else. Read More...

Jump For Joy As We Happy Few Gets Another Major Update & Area To Explore
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
We Happy Few The second major update for We Happy Few has been released and this one adds in some requested items as well as adding to We Happy Few a new area to explore Great news for all of those gamers out there still enjoying We Happy Few. It looks like there is now even more to enjoy as a new major update for the game has been pushed out there that adds a whole new area to explore and quest on. Not only that, but some other great things have been added into the mix so that you can now stop pestering Compulsion Games for a bit so they can double down on making We Happy Few a final project and not an early access thing that we have right now. When you force the developers to look at things that could be left alone for now it only pushes the final launch out just that much further. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
We Happy Few A new update to We Happy Few has been placed out there that fixes some of the current bugs & issues of We Happy Few during its early access phase Back in July the Early Access for We Happy Few went underway for a few of the platforms it will be heading to at some point. Maybe you bought in or maybe you didn't depending on your faith in Compulsion Games, but the option is still there and I know many, myself included, have had a blast with it so far. Yes it's had it bugs and issues but it is a game in progress and we are here to help shape We Happy Few into something we want to fully experience when all is said and done. At least I know I do. Miss Flappy Bird? Make Your Own Version Instead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of February 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
If you missed out on the Flappy Bird craze or something the like, Code.org has a way for you to make your own version The Flappy Bird craze is something I missed before it went away. I'll be honest there. Also to be honest, I don't get why it was so insanely popular outside of the oddness or nostalgia of things being able to get most people to latch on to something. I could be right or I could be right. In either instance, all of you out there who also missed out or just plain miss Flappy Bird on your mobile there is a way to get it back as well as make the improvements you might have wanted. Looks Like The PlayStation App Should Be Out Alongside The PS4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of October 2013 - 09:27 PM ]
A little over two years ago Sony announced a mobile application for users to be able to check all the ins and outs of their PS3. It was only released in the European market to my knowledge. I've looked around and have yet to find anything official in the North American market, but that's not the point. In the coming month when we get the PlayStation 4, we can also look out for a similar and better mobile application to play with in addition to the console. Everyone rejoice? Read More...

Sony Now Has An App For That
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of January 2011 - 07:25 PM ]
SCEE has finally let loose the app they announced back in December that will allow PlayStation fans to do pretty much what XBox fans have been doing for a long while now. That is access all their stats, news and talk about all things on their chosen console. Man that took a while to get out there. I totally can't wait to use it to keep up on my friends and trophies. Oh wait… I can't… It is only for people with European accounts. Anyone can download the app to their iPhone/iPod or Android phones right now, although work arounds are needed if you live outside of Europe. Read More...

OnLive Now Giving Us Another Way To Be Voyeurs
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of December 2010 - 09:47 PM ]
Raise your hand if you are a glutton for pain and torment. Also if you are a fan of being teased by others playing games while you are stuck somewhere you can't. I know my hand is staying down. But there is good news for you out there that are a fan of strip clubs and being teased. Just released on the iPad and Android Tablet is a way live spectate of any of the OnLive game sessions from around the world. That way of course being a new mobile app that is ready for download and does not, I repeat does not, require jail breaking to run the full-featured Flash, Silverlight and Windows 7 application. Just took Cloud computing to get Flash on an Apple product it seems. Read More...

Netflix And Sony Just Gave Us Coasters
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of October 2010 - 04:25 PM ]
We can all rejoice! The Netflix app is coming to the PS3 on the 18th of October. That's only a few days from now so use those soon to be obsolete PS3 discs until they no longer spin. Or at least find some new use for them. Maybe some form of artwork like some have done with the AOL disc of the old internet days. But the new app does not just bring the ability to instantly stream movies and TV without a disc. What else are we are getting? Read More...
