by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of February 2016 - 10:00 PM ]

In fact as you are reading this you can know that gamers out there who have turned on FreeStyleGames' title can experience it now in the five day long Shred-A-Thon that is going on at this very moment via GHTV. At least if they are playing Guitar Hero Live via the console version of the game and not any of the other umpteen options that we were all given back when Activision brought the game back into our lives again. To gain access to the Shred-A-Thon for Guitar Hero Live all you have to do is access the third channel in your GHTV list and it will start right up. Read More...

Minecraft The trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode's fourth episode is upon us and it gives us all a nice look at the end of one of the big bads in Minecraft as we press on Next week is more than just Christmas and every other winter solstice holiday but it also is the week that Minecraft: Story Mode gets it fourth episode released to us all. This also happens to be the point where Telltale Games is ending one of the major story lines in Minecraft: Story Mode with the Wither Storm. This has been the driving goal for all of the heroes so far but as there is one more episode after this one we will be seeing more of Mojang's creation in Minecraft: Story Mode next year as well. Review — Minecraft: Story Mode — The Last Place You Look
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of December 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Minecraft We Sit Down And Review Minecraft: Story Mode — The Last Place You Look. This Is The Third Episode Of Telltale's Take On Mojang's Famed Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They Did We are now half way through the story of Minecraft: Story Mode with the third episode right on the tails of the prior one. This Telltale Games experience has been an odd one for me to be certain but we are pressing along. It could be my lack of knowledge of the Mojang proper title or the odd seeming story telling going on in Minecraft: Story Mode. Read More...

Minecraft: Story Mode Ep. 3's Release Date Is In The Last Place You Look
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of November 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Minecraft The release date for Minecraft: Story Mode's third episode has been revealed as well as a new trailer of Minecraft: Story Mode goodness While I may not have been impressed by Minecraft: Story Mode so far I will have to say that I am impressed that the release windows for each episode are not as far apart as other Telltale Games titles out there. Just under a month and we will have the next episode for Minecraft: Story Mode on November 24th for all. It wasn't as short as the time between the first two episodes but a pass is given as their other IPs in the mix wrapped up as we waited. Read More...

Spyjinx Announced From Those Who Brought Us Infinity Blade & Star Wars
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of November 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Spyjinx A new game titled Spyjinx has been announced from the people who brought us Infinity Blade, Star Wars, and Star Trek. Here's what’s known for Spyjinx As if the film industry wasn't enough, J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot have made the announcement that they are making a game called Spyjinx. Of course they are not making it on their own but teaming up with ChAIR of Infinity Blade fame to do this. Not only that but it looks like Spyjinx is going to be something that is far and away from the traditional game as much as they can get it so that it will stand on its own when it hits the PC and mobile devices sometime next year. Thankfully it is Spyjinx and not a film tie-in for his latest projects right? Read More...

Review — Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Minecraft We Sit Down And Review Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required. This Is The Second Episode Of Telltale's Take On Mojang's Famed Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They Did That was a crazy turnaround time for this episode of Minecraft: Story Mode to be released. Usually it takes at least a month or two before Telltale Games is giving us another episode to whet our whistles and this time we all had a nice two week or so turn around. Kudos to them and I hope they keep pushing the Mojang inspired story out to us in the same manner. Until then though we get a nice look at Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required as we dig into our continued review of this episodic franchise. Read More...

Review — Guitar Hero Live
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Guitar Hero Live We Sit Down And Review Guitar Hero Live. Things Have Been Changed Up Quite A Bit This Time Around To Make The Franchise Feel New; But Does It Pay Off? Here's Our Review Of Guitar Hero Live Looks like the rhythm game is trying to make a comeback and now we have the other main competitor in the way of Guitar Hero Live. This franchise is one of the ones that made the whole genre as popular as it has become over the years, even with its short hiatus, and FreeStyleGames is bringing it back to try and bring new life into the franchise. Not only is it a new game with, technically, new songs but Guitar Hero Live adds in a few new features and mechanics to said genre but do they help or hinder in the long run? Read More...

12 More Classic Songs Join The Guitar Hero Live Track List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of October 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Guitar Hero Live Twelve more tracks have been added to Guitar Hero Live and while not all classics songs they are coming to Guitar Hero Live from past titles in the franchise Time to make the track list for Guitar Hero Live a not so round number of 121 now as we have twelve more tracks to add to the list today. Quite a hefty starting catalog for FreeStyleGames to get in there and I'll take it. Especially since these new Guitar Hero Live tracks have all been pulled from previous Guitar Hero titles that Activision still has the rights to. Read More...
