The Motion Capture For Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Has Its Limits Pushed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Hellblade Another showcasing of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice's motion capture technology is here although none of this will make it into the final version of Hellblade even though it should Hopefully by now you've seen some of the amazing footage of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice's motion capture technology that was crafted just for this game. Ninja Theory has shown it off a few times to show what can be done in a relatively small space and without the use of all the crazy face painting and physical impairments that need to be cleaned up later. It is quite impressive and it will definitely be one of the bigger selling points for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for those who have not already fallen in love with the core gameplay shown or the story being told. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Has Even More Gameplay To Pine Over Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Hellblade A bit of new gameplay for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has surfaced as well as some great reveals on just what is going on in Hellblade at the end of the day Seeing as Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a featured game this month on a few of the other major outlets out there, it should come as no surprise that there will be a lot of new gameplay and looks at the game as it is currently. There is still no release date set down by Ninja Theory for the game, but it does look like it is shaping up to be an amazing game for the PC and PS4 when it does launch sometime in 2017. Given that everything is starting to ramp up for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice here, I'd say it may be an easy guess that we could see it sometime this Summer; although an October-ish release wouldn't seem too "out there" for me either. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of April 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This has sure been some amazing week for video games now hasn't it? Not only for the industry but also for us over here as it was another heavy review week with things from Horizon Zero Dawn to The Walking Dead and a few others in between. We also had a lot of cool things to see for Injustice 2 again and more for Prey as both of those titles get even closer to releasing next month. More video games to play and not enough time to do it. Review — The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Above The Law
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Above The Law. This is the third episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did It has been some time since the last two episodes for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier were launched. I was hopeful that the back to back releases of the episodes were a sign that Telltale Games was going to get this season out there rather quickly. Sadly that was not the case as it was three months until the third episode for this season of The Walking Dead to release, but release it has. Read More...

Enter Senua’s Soundscape With The Latest For Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Hellblade The latest developer diary for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has been released and this one goes into just how sound in Hellblade will be a huge aspect Every time I see something new for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice I am generally impressed and can't wait to see where it all goes from there. This time around I can't say that I saw anything new and impressive with Ninja Theory's latest developer update for the game. Thankfully this is not due to the team faltering on Hellblade or anything, but because this time around it is all about the audio and in that aspect I am taken back yet again. Read More...

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's Next Episode Is Above The Law
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The launch trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's third episode has finally been released as soon we can see how this part of The Walking Dead plays out Last week we had a nice little tease for the third episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. It showed off a nice little bit of what we could expect in this episode but also looked like it was very focused on the pre-end history of Javier's and little more than that. This week it looks like Telltale Games has given us all the launch trailer for the episode, it still launches on March 28th though, and it definitely goes down a path a bit of a different path than previously thought; all of which in a good way. I had little doubt that this version of The Walking Dead would leave us hanging in a weird spot. Read More...

Frank Rises This Spring In Dead Rising 4 As We Hit The Links… & Zombies
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Dead Rising 4 New details and images for Dead Rising 4's next bit of DLC that gives us a zombie version of Frank to play in Dead Rising 4 as well as some new golfing I hope you are ready for some more Dead Rising 4 DLC to get added into the mix for the game now as we have a look at what is coming to us on April 4th now. I know that hasn't been a lot of time to enjoy the game for all of you PC gamers out there, but for those Xbox One fans it looks like Capcom is going to give you even more reasons to keep playing outside of the time of year that the game is set in. In fact, with this new DLC for Dead Rising 4 we are going to get a rather nice bit of extra story to play as we see our favorite character down in the dumps further. Read More...

Our First Look At Episode 3 Of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Is Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We have our first look at The Walking Dead: A New Frontier episode three and it looks like The Walking Dead universe is kicking the game up a notch It has taken a bit longer than I thought, but it looks like we finally have our first taste of episode three for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. I know I was hoping for it to come shortly after last month's physical release but it looks like we still have a bit to wait as it will be hitting us on March 28th for now. That doesn't mean that Telltale Games didn't have something to show everyone out at PAX East though as a nice little teaser for this new episode of The Walking Dead was shown off and, in typical fashion, make it looks like the shit is truly hitting the fan. Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Has Its First Bit Of Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of March 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The first bit of gameplay for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is finally here and now we can see how Shadow Of War has progressed from its predecessor Just as promised last week, here we go with some solid new gameplay for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. Not only does it show off some amazing combat but it looks like Monolith Productions has gone out of their way to vastly improve the Nemesis mechanic in the game as it could very well leap over to many other aspects and characters in the game. Mix that in with some cinematic and over-the-top looking battles, Shadow Of War looks just like where the game needed to head toward and so far so good. Especially since it looks like things can go well or south real fast depending on how you deal with the aftermath of taking down an enemy stronghold. Read More...

Agony's Demons Have Been Set Loose & We Need To Control Them
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Agony A better look at the demons of Agony has been released and we also get to look at how we get to control them in Agony to get around Hell Here we go as Agony's demons have been let out and now we get to see more than just a slight tease for them as we did last week. In fact, it looks like Madmind Studio has put together not one, but two different teasers to show of the demons in the game so we can all have a lot more to haunt our nightmares and daydreams. The team really lives up to the name over there in terms of the mad but don't let that stop you from seeing more for Agony as we continue to wait for the official release sometime this year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. And Gods, there is a lot to see here today with these new demons. Read More...

Agony's Demons Are Coming And Are Here To Tease The Hell Out Of Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Agony A new teaser video for Agony shows off a few of the demons we'll encounter in Agony as well as a date for when we will see them in full action Oh the Agony and the waiting for this game to come out as it looks like a rather intense horror title poised to follow up some other amazing ones here recently. With each new trailer and bit of gameplay Madmind Studio manages to "wow" me and here we go again to help us with the time it is taking to bring the game to market. Hopefully by now you know that in Agony you are in Hell but also have the ability to control other people and some of the lesser demons you will be rubbing elbows with. Read More...
