by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The Gold and War Chest aspect of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War will be going away and you now have a limited time to use them all in Shadow Of War If you were really into spending real-world money to boost things in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, then you may need to get on that bandwagon a little more as it will be going away. Well, at least the Gold and War Chest aspect of the game is going away as Monolith Productions is pulling the plug on it and keeping the game flowing in all of the other ways. So if you like shelling out that money to get virtual things in Shadow Of War, get on that as it goes away On May 8th when the next big update for the game is coming. Read More...

Review — The Council: Mad Ones
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
The Council We sit down and review The Council: Mad Ones. This is the first episode of Big Bad Wolf’s interesting take on history & the occult. Here’s our review of The Council: Mad Ones A new type of episodic game is entering the arena with The Council as the first episode is now out there for those interested to enjoy. On the surface, it sounds like Big Bad Wolf is just trying to get in on the market, but there is more to this game than meets the eye initially. This is most likely why Focus Home Interactive took a chance and opted to give it a full run. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of March 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more solid week of video games in the bag. I really need to find a better way to wrap this all up each week. Nonetheless, it has been another fun week with pretty much all highs for the week. We had a whole lot of new information for God Of War and we had a chance to see that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is making the leap over to the Xbox One now. We also had a nice big gameplay dump for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden that showed us just how awesome that game is shaping up to be. Read More...

How Well Will Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Look On The Xbox One
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of March 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Hellblade A new trailer for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is here to show us all just how well Hellblade will look once it makes its way onto the Xbox One Earlier this week we had word that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was finally making the jump over to the Xbox One on April 11th. It had spent so much time as a PC and PS4 only title that Ninja Theory wanted to make sure all gamers out there could experience the story and game. Unless you are only on a Switch then you will need to hope that this Hellblade release garners even more attention and praise so it can be brought over there too. I am not sure how well that would work, but it is never outside of the realm of possibilities. Read More...

Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden’s First Gameplay Is Here To Bring Us In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of March 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Mutant Year Zero The first gameplay demo for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden is here and it gives us a lot more to go on for Mutant Year Zero than we could have hoped for Earlier in the month we saw Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden get all announced and everything but only had a cinematic trailer to go on to get a feel for what the game would truly be bringing. It looked amazing, but from the description that came with it, it did not feel like the same game that The Bearded Ladies were working on and aiming to give us. Not in a bad way, but the description was more tactical-adventure while the video looked more plain adventure in a weird setting. Read More...

See Dying Light: Bad Blood In Action For A Little Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of March 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Dying Light New gameplay for Dying Light: Bad Blood is here and it gives us a small taste of where this battle royale mode for Dying Light is currently at Not too long ago we heard about Dying Light: Bad Blood and what it was going to be bringing to the base game in terms of keeping up with all of those other titles out there. Not too surprising, it was the answer to the Battle Royale craze that is going on from Techland but also set in their zombie "shooter" that has had quite some staying power over the last few years. The core Dying Light hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC three years ago and players are still deeply involved in it. Read More...

The Walking Dead A new look at Overkill’s The Walking Dead title is here and they take us further into some of the environments inspired by The Walking Dead universe Just a bit more for Overkill’s The Walking Dead title has been placed out there in the mix of the very little we all have had so far. It is still scheduled to release this Fall for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC but Overkill and Starbreeze have not truly given us all much to go on. It is set in The Walking Dead universe, most likely the comics, and also takes place where the core of that story is held. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of March 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Hellblade It looks like Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is no longer a console exclusive as Xbox gamers will be able to experience Hellblade here in April Good news for those Xbox One gamers out there who wanted a chance to experience the fun of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. The game is making the jump over to your platform here on April 11th so you can see what they hype is all about. It will no longer be the domain of the PC and PS4 gamers out there so all can get a real showing of how Ninja Theory is pushing the industry forward in not only tech but also in how certain stories can be told and aid society. I know Hellblade has helped me to understand what others go through with some of these ailments as well as help others understand my own issues. Read More...

The Agony Continues As Agony Has Been Delayed Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of March 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Agony Another delay has hit Agony as it will not be making its March 30th release date as Agony is pushed out for an undetermined time now It looks like the creepy as all Hells, Hell Simulator Agony will not be making its showing on the most recent release date we have been given. That being March 30th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It looks like the wait is a bit longer as Madmind Studio has updated us all that it will be pushed out to some other undetermined time. This is due to the team trying to make sure the Agony experience is the same across all of the platforms out there, I am sure there is some level of extra "polish" going on as they all say, but the game has now been pushed out again. Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Is Officially Announced & Coming This Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of March 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider Just in time for the new Tomb Raider film to hit theaters, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been officially announced and coming this year for all platforms It looks like we can put most of the rumors to rest as Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been officially announced and let loose on the world. At least in the most teaser of ways as Eidos-Montréal and Square Enix are still holding off on the full reveal of the game until April 27th. They still needed to work with the hype of the new Tomb Raider film, so it makes sense that they would make this announcement now and not wait until the film is no longer anywhere out there. Portal We sit down and review Bridge Constructor Portal. It is all the fun of building bridges and the humor of Portal. Here is our review of Bridge Constructor Portal It can always be fun when we get mash-up video games out there that take two IPs and combine them into one and that is what Bridge Constructor Portal is here to do. Get Ready For A New Tactical-Adventure With Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of March 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Mutant Year Zero A new tactical-adventure game, Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden, has been announced and Mutant Year Zero aims to bring us a unique take on the post-human Earth We had a nice tease a few weeks back from Funcom that they were working on something new and now it looks like the cat is out of the bag as Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden has been announced and coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. At least it is safe to assume that this was what they were teasing even if they are not directly developing it like other titles in their wheelhouse. That part is being done by The Bearded Ladies, a team that consists of some pretty talented people from many of our favorite past titles like HITMAN and PAYDAY. Read More...
