Will The Wii U Be Worth It?

In 2006 Nintendo released the Wii which was the successor to the GameCube. The Wii had huge success in both China and North America. The Wii quickly outsold the PS3 and the XBox 360 at its low price point of $249.99 at launch. After 6 years Nintendo is planning to release their new console the Wii U sometime this year. See How You Will Survive In Far Cry 3

Ubisoft has released a new trailer outlining the ways you may survive on the Rook Islands in Far Cry 3. The trailer shows some pretty crazy stuff such as exploring ancient temples and fighting off tigers and other wild animals. The trailer also sheds some light on the story and characters. It seems like there is a native tribe on the island lead by a women named Citra that will help main character Jason Brody survive the many dangers on the island. Her brother Vaas was also mentioned in the trailer but not much was revealed about him. Other things that were shown in the trailer include using zip lines, gliders and driving bikes and other vehicles. Read More...

A complete art collection of all 4 Disgaea games released to date. I have been looking through this gorgeous book the last week and let me tell you its beautiful! Any fan of Disgaea or really any Nippon Ichi works will love this book. The art in this ranges from being straight from the games, anime, manga, box art, promos and original art. Grand Theft Auto V New Screenshots

Rockstar has reveled some new screenshots for their next big crime epic Grand Theft Auto V. Very little is known about the game relating to story details and characters. What we do know though is the game takes place in Los Santos which is a fictional version of Los Angeles. If you all remember this was one city that was featured in 2004's San Andreas. Los Santos was also accompanied by fictional versions of San Francisco and Las Vegas though it is unknown at this point if they will be returning in Grand Theft Auto V. The Problems With Exclusives

Have you ever missed out on a hot new release game because you didn’t own the right console? It has probably happened to all of us one time or another due to a console exclusive. Console exclusives act as an ace in the hole for most companies when they market a console. This is a very common trend in the game industry that hurts not only the consumer but also the developers. By only releasing on one console its locks out the other half of gamers who only may own one console and limits the sale margin for said game. Cat Woman Joins The Cast Of Injustice: Gods Among Us

Well this was pretty much expected. Cat Woman has just been confirmed as a new playable character for Injustice: Gods Among Us and below is a video showcasing what she can do and take in the game. As is to be expected she is fast, agile and able to whip the other characters from DC universe into shape. That is if she is not trying to kill them with cheesy one-liners of the feline nature instead. I will say that I am a bit curious by the fact that she has an RPG as an attack in the game given all of the other things they could have used. Read More...

Mists Of Pandaria Trailer Finally Released

Today Blizzard has finally released the cinematic trailer for the upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft called "Mists of Pandaria." The cinematic features a lot of mist and some good old fashioned fighting. Not to mention a little naval battle that is pretty cool. Mists of Pandaria comes out September 25th, 2012. I can't wait to get my grubby little hands on this expansion, with the raised level cap of 90, a whole new continent to explore, new raids, dungeons and of course loot. Fat, fat loot. Read More...

Rock Band Blitz Set List Announced

Harmonix has announced the full set list for the upcoming Rock Band Blitz. Rock Band Blitz is the first game to ditch the plastic instruments of past games in the series. If you don’t know what to expect from Rock Band Blitz it’s a beat matching game much like Amplitude or Audio Surf. Below is the full set list of 25 songs that will come with the game. Review: Darksiders II

It has finally come. A game that I and others here have been waiting for since we finished Darksiders and were left with a bit of a cliff hanging ending. Darksiders II is here and featuring a new horseman of the apocalypse as well as, from what has been said, a whole load of game features that were left on the cutting room floor in the first title. Epic Games Is On A Roll!

It seems like Epic Games is going all out as of recently with their announcement of their new studio "Impossible Studios" based out of Hunt Valley, Maryland. Impossible Studios is "A company comprised of highly skilled, senior level game development talent." - Epic Games Founded in June, Impossible Studios will definitely be bringing the heat. Sean Dunn (The studio director) is the flag bearer for Impossible Studios as they charge forward into the ever-present war zone that is the gaming industry. Nightwish Is Finally Coming To Rockband

Today Harmonix gave us an update on next week's DLC. We have two new tracks from Foreigner, "I want to know what love is" and "Waiting for a girl like you", which is cool, everyone loves Foreigner. But what really stuck out was the third song, a song by the symphonic power metal band: Nightwish. With their song "Amaranth" off of their 2007 album "Dark Passion Play" This is the first Nightwish song to become available on any Rock Band or even Rock Band Network. Definitely an interesting track they picked, there are a lot of different styles of songs for Nightwish, mainly because they go through lead singers like water. This song featured the lovely Anette Olzon who replaced the original lead singer: Tarja Turunen. Read More...

The Many Faces Of Death In Dishonored

Dishonored has always been shown to give the players as many options to play the game since it was first shown. There has never been any doubt that it can be a unique game play each time you take a run at a level.
