New Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay For The Watching
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
A truncated version of the E3 Batman: Arkham Knight demo has been released to show the world how bad-ass Batman is going to be You've been waiting for some new Batman: Arkham Knight footage and it looks like Rocksteady and Warner Bros. are ready to oblige you with that want. We have some "new" gameplay for Batman: Arkham Knight just a bit below and it is… nothing all too new except for those who have yet to make it to a trade show or major convention. While the footage is quite cool and shows off Arkham Knight rather well, don't read into all the hype that everyone else is placing on it as it isn't anything too new for most. Then again, I am looking at this as someone who has been neck deep in all of the gameplay and news that has come out for Batman: Arkham Knight since we first received the announcement. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Games, games, and more games has been the huge theme for the last few weeks. Not just in news but in video game releases. Hells, this week we had yet another two reviews (Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom and Escape Dead Island) and we have more to come. I'm Not Sure If These Are Traps In Dying Light Or Not
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Dying Light has been released to show off some of the 'traps' that we will get to use to handle the zombie plague I think my definition of traps is vastly different than those of the people behind Dying Light's marketing. We have a new trailer for Dying Light just below that claims to show off the traps of the game but most of what is show is that of the player using the environment to their advantage and nothing lying in wait. The whole point of a trap is to set something up so that you can have it spring on something while you are busy handling something else isn't it? Semantics aside though we do get to see some more fun ways to kill the infected in Dying Light. Read More...

A new interview for Tales From The Borderlands from Gearbox has been released showing off what the original dev team has to say about their IP getting the Telltale treatment It looks like Gearbox has a few choice words to use when talking about Tales From The Borderlands and how it is being handled by Telltale. Gearbox has offered up the overall narrative for Tales From The Borderlands as it will affect the way any future iterations of the Borderlands franchise will play out but everything else is on Telltale. In this most recent interview from the original team that made us fall in love with their first person shooter they have a few things to say and they are all… Very positive. Read More...

And Our Game Awards Nominees Are…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
The nominees for The Game Awards have been announced and some are still open for YOU to vote on Love the idea or hate it but The Game Awards are coming here in a few weeks and the nominees and categories have been announced. Some of these were done yesterday via Geoff Keighley and the organization's official Twitch account. The bulk of them were released directly on The Game Awards website. A site that kind of makes things a bit difficult to get all the information you want in one quick and easy way so I've taken it upon myself to give the quick and easy way to look at all the games, developers, and performers that will be up to win whatever prize or trophy The Game Awards is offering up. Review: Escape Dead Island
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Escape Dead Island. It is a new spin on the Dead Island franchise all to expand the franchise but does it? None The Less Here Is Our Review The time is upon us to try and Escape Dead Island. No not to try and escape the need for the franchise but to actually play through and hopefully enjoy Fatshark's new take on the Dead Island franchise and to give us a bridge until the next major sequel to the core franchise hits our gaming shelves. Do Deep Silver and Fatshark have a great title for us on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC or is the cell shading style just as dead as the zombies we need to escape from. Here's what I have to say in my review of Escape Dead Island. Read More...

Here's Your First Taste Of Narcosis
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
New screenshots and video for Narcosis have been released giving us all a taste of what the game is all about Before we dig into the new visuals for Narcosis let's break down what the game is all about…like the Hokey Pokey. Narcosis is a "survival story set in the hostile depths of the Pacific Ocean." Pretty much you take the role of an industrial diver who is stranded in the depths of the ocean after some kind of accident and you need to get to the surface before your oxygen – and sanity – give out. That was lifted right from the Narcosis site though and not me paraphrasing or (un)sensationalizing the copy at all. Read More...

Review: Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom. Does It do the franchise justice or is it another cash in for the kids who love this stuff? None the less here is our review What time is it?! It's Adventure Time… well at least it's time for us to review Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom. Of course this would be the latest installment for the franchise in video game form from WayForward Technologies and Little Orbit for the PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360, 3DS, and PC. The first time I believe an Adventure Time title has been on these specific platforms and the 3DS but that's another issue. Read More...

New Batman: Arkham City Easter Egg Three Years In The Waiting
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Another hidden Batman: Arkham City Easter Egg from Calendar Man has been solved by some eagle eyed and brilliant fan of the franchise If you though that you have 100% completely found all the hidden secrets of Batman: Arkham City or just found everything then you are going to be in for a shock. It looks like there is a new Easter Egg from Calendar Man that pretty much everyone has missed up until RockSteady Games began posting hints and clues to something missed. It only took three years now but it looks like there is a 13th conversation from the villain outside of what was required to get the Trophy/Achievement for talking to the character over the course of the year. For those who may not know, during Batman: Arkham City on specific real world dates the villain Calendar Man said something new around the events or holiday involved for the date. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 11/10/14 — 11/14/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 15th of November 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus concludes week one in the insanity of video game releases. We've had a plethora of titles just drop and many more in the coming weeks leading up to December. Hells, we even had two reviews this week for #killallzombies and Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare here and have yet to even scratch the surface of all the titles that have been causing a stir in the video game industry. Yes, that is a slight jab at Assassin's Creed there but we'll leave the heavy stuff for all of those other outlets who can trash talk and not worried about getting black balled in the industry. Moving on to what we did have here though in the way of video game news. Read More...

These Cops In Battlefield Hardline Are Ruthless Yet Awesome
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Some new Battlefield Hardline footage has been smuggled onto the web and it shows off quite a bit of the single player gameplay as well as the tone of the game We've seen a bit of the single player for Battlefield Hardline and played the multiplayer beta for the game already. Until now I don't think I've seen how rough Visceral Games and EA are going to have their cops and DEA member look in Battlefield Hardline. This is not a bad thing in my opinion we just haven't seen anything like this until this recent b-roll footage (see below) surfaced up. Maybe you have but to date I have not seen how rough and amazing this is going to be when we finally get Battlefield Hardline on our PS3s, PS4s, Xbox Ones, Xbox 360s, or PCs. Read More...
